Broussa Day Nursery & Nursery School

I can’t fault this nursery in anyway. My little boy settled in so quickly. I continue to admire all of the amazing staff every day as they nurture my little boy. There is so much care and genuine feeling. Thank you.

A wonderful nursery full of caring, attentive, happy staff. The environments are stimulating and inviting. My daughter has settled in so well through all the support and care from the staff who have gone above and beyond to meet her needs. She always has the best day exploring new skills and getting involved in lots of messy play and learning activities.

Since my daughter started at Broussa in November 2020 the whole of team has made us feel so welcome and have been so kind not only to me but my daughter too and making her feel welcome every morning and evening when I drop off and pick up. She always comes home telling me all about her exciting day at nursery, I couldn’t thank the staff at Broussa for everything you have and will continue to do for myself and my daughter, I would definitely recommend Broussa to my friends and family.

We were extremely anxious about our child starting and settling at Broussa especially given the circumstances surrounding Covid. However, we have had a wonderful experience with this nursery. Every member of staff we have come into contact with has been helpful, reassuring, positive and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff and they are prompt to respond to all queries and phone calls. Our favourite aspect of the provision is the fact that our child is so happy during his time at nursery. We really feel like the staff that care for him look after him as if he were their own child and they go out of their way to provide activities to suit his little character and needs. Thank you for easing our worries and making this experience such a positive one.

We have had a few issues with regards to our house move, and the nursery have been more than supportive, which really has gone a long way in helping us as a family. We are really sad to be saying goodbye.

Broussa is an amazing nursery, my son has been there since he was one (and is nearly four). He has always been really well cared for and very happy. It's a nurturing environment, the staff and management are great and extremely approachable. The nursery has really inspired my son's learning through songs, games, activities, exercise, all sorts of different activities. Would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

The nursery provides outstanding care and nurture, coupled with stimulating, age-appropriate activities. The staff personalise their curriculum and their communication strategies according to the ability levels of the children.

The staff are first class.

The staff are all a reflection of the nursery manager, kind, caring, nurturing and most importantly fun. They genuinely feel like extended family and they have created a second home for my son to grow and develop. They truly care about him and about helping to develop his little mind. My son’s key worker has such a special gift with children. She just knows how to make the kids feel calm, safe and loved. That is massively important to me. Not only do the staff do a great job at caring and developing my son but they are always there to talk through any issues I may be having with him and to give advice. The managers are all very present and are around all the time in all the rooms - they know all the children and parents. It feels like a family of very well trained staff that all genuinely care.

The staff are really friendly and the key person gives a daily sheet letting you know about their day in nursery. The app is great. Staff are really friendly and approachable.

I honestly cannot speak highly enough of Broussa and all the team. My daughter is so happy there and has been from day one. She has loved every room and all the staff. The range of activities is fantastic and I love the fact that they get them all out in the garden as often as possible. I have found everyone to be very supportive during a recent spell of ill health and genuinely feel like the staff are friends of mine. I have also had a lot of support with things like getting rid of dummies and potty training. It has certainly felt like a team effort! The setting is fantastic and the food is great. Tapestry is a brilliant tool that the nursery use to share updates about your child and parents can upload photos and videos too which is really nice. The staff are approachable and professional. My daughter has some health issues and this has been handled brilliantly by everyone at Broussa. We love it and more importantly, our daughter loves it!

Both my children have loved Elmscot Broussa Nursery as it’s a caring and nurturing nursery where they both settled in very quickly. The staff are extremely attentive and work very hard in supporting each child, helping to engage and develop their interests. We were very happy with the variety of activities, both in and out of the nursery. Trips to the library and forest school are to name a few.

The staff are friendly, approachable and you can feel that the interest of the children is at the heart of the nursery.

We really love all of the different activities that he does on a daily basis and the emphasis that is put on outdoor play. I feel really happy and content when I leave him knowing he is in really good hands.

We have trust in the staff and have found them to be professional, yet friendly and caring.

The staff are extremely caring and provide so many different activities for the children to enjoy. My little girl loves Thursday Morning’s Pyjama Drama and is so excited when she sees the teacher. She has developed so much and has formed great relationships with the staff and her little friends.

We have used the nursery since 2018 when our daughter started at 5 months old. The staff are caring, have a positive attitude and kindness and this has not changed from the day we first visited the nursery. Each day, children and parents are greeted with smiles, children are welcomed and cuddled in a caring manner on those days they don’t want to part from parents. Each child is treated as an individual and dealt with on this basis, each day my child has carried out a number of activities but with plenty of free time, mostly outside, which has increased her social skills and confidence. At the end of the day, we are always given feedback on what she has been doing and this is also written down to refer to if needed.

My daughter has attended this nursery for a year now. In that year, she has really developed her interactive skills through song and acting. I have been really pleased with her mentors and one lady, in particular, who was her mentor last term. She went above and beyond in all aspects to support my child and me to understand what is the best way to help develop her skills. I really like the engagement with the daily update sheet you receive. Also, one thing I like is the nursery app this allows me to view what my daughter is doing through written and pictured reviews. Keep up the good work, all staff.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough. I have two children with a small age gap and nothing is ever too much trouble from everyone. All the staff know who both my kids are even though they aren’t necessarily in their room yet. I feel really comfortable leaving my children here and they’ve both developed loads since starting.
