My little girl has been going to this nursery since she was 9 months old and I honestly couldn't be happier. The staff are absolutely fantastic - so caring, friendly and genuinely invested in the children. My daughter loves it so much that she literally runs to the door every Monday morning! It gives
me such peace of mind knowing she's so well looked after and happy. I can't recommend them highly enough.

My little girl has been going here since she was 9 months old, the staff are all lovely and friendly, they build an amazing relationship with all children and parents! They take children out to different places and walks around the local area which i think is brilliant, they have extra activities throughout
the week for children to look forward too! My little girl loves coming and even on the weekend asks to get ready for nursery! Staff are always happy and welcoming which is lovely to see. Staff also do things for each other such as being mugged (given a mug), they have lovely staff meetings (put up on social media), different breakfast set ups, staff incentives, which is lovely to show to staff as they all work hard everyday. The only downside is they don't have an app to see what your child has been doing or pictures to see what they are up to during the day.

My daughter has been at Pitter Patter full time 5 days a week since she was 9 months old and leaves Preschool to join her Primary school next week. I cannot recommend this nursery enough throughout each of the dedicated rooms (little & big babies, little & big toddlers and preschool). Great on-site
activities outside of the incredible creative learning through play sessions offered by staff are Forest School, French,PE and Soft Play sessions. But the things I didn’t expect were exploring museums, libraries and the local community with my all time favourite being the local care home. I fully believe the activities and experiences provided to her have helped her become the little girl she is today - kind, caring, independent, intelligent, creative and above all an incredibly happy child! All I can say is a massive thank you to all the wonderful staff who have helped my baby become the most amazing little girl!

Pitter Patter Day Nursery has been a blessing for my little girl since age 2 and a half. From Big Toddlers to Pre-School, they offer diverse activities and trips, expanding children's knowledge and connecting with the community. The emotional and physical support provided is exceptional, and during
a personal medical emergency, they showed genuine care and practical help. Highly recommended for any family!

Absolutely fantastic nursery. I’ve seen my child come on so much since starting the nursery in November 2022. All the staff are so kind, caring and attentive. They always make sure I’m well informed about my child’s day and I love seeing all the pictures of what they’ve been up to. My child absolutely
loves going in every morning and I love seeing how excited he gets when he sees all the staff! I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. 10/10!

All of the staff at Pitter Patter are lovely and have been fantastic with our daughter. They have encouraged her to interact with other children and to get involved with all activities. Our daughter has been attending Pitter Patter for a year now, since she was one. She was reluctant to let me go when
I dropped her off but with the patience and care of Pitter Patter staff, she now runs into her room in the morning and is really excited. She has developed so much and has definitely benefitted from being at Pitter Patter Day Nursery.

I have 2 children currently attending Pitter Patter, my 4 years old is starting school in September after 3 and a half years at the nursery and my 18 month old will be with them for a few more years yet.

During my eldest's time at Pitter Patter they girls at the nursery have helped him develop into

a caring, well mannered and confident little boy. His reading and writing are coming along brilliantly and we genuinely feel like he's prepared for school this September. He's worked his way through all of the rooms at Pitter Patter and has always enjoyed attending.

My youngest is getting ready to move to the little toddler room in August and we're so pleased with his progress. We never considered any other nurseries for him because we saw first hand with his brother how great the staff are, the variety of activities they organise, how good the menu is and how they nursery is always clean and welcoming.

I can't recommend this nursery highly enough - they tick every box.

I reviewed Pitter Patter after an awful experience locally. They were kind and supportive throughout my daughters time there, she has been nothing but happy and I work soundly knowing she is safe and looked after. My daughter loves the staff and is excited to see them. They helped with weaning, her
speech and now potty training. I would and have recommended the nursery to other parents. Its safe, my daughters development through their activities is fantastic and there is great communication. Happy parent.

I pick the child I care for up from nursery once a week. I find all the girls that work in the little toddlers department very helpful and very informative regarding her activities that day. One of the team members is especially helpful. The child I care for has come on leaps and bounds since starting
here. She is more confident and is always happy to go into the nursery class. She loves seeing all the other children and is always happy when I go to collect her. The nursery seems a happy and clean environment for all the children to play and eat their meals.

Both my girls attend Pitter Patter and have done since they were 5 months old. They are so caring. Both my girls formed a lovely relationship with their key workers and the other carers in their room. Each room is tailored to their particular needs for their stage of development. Both my girls love
going to nursery and have been emotionally supported and stretched with their key skills with varied and engaging activities. The outdoor spaces are differentiated for different developmental stages - this is excellent. I'm so happy with my choice of nursery a very happy secure environment with great food! A must for my girls. Thank you.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. When my son started he was 8 months old and the staff made the transition so much easier.
From the initial visit, we were very impressed with the nursery and staff. We feel that our son picked this nursery himself as it was the first place we visited
where he was very relaxed!
The staff took the settling in sessions at our pace so we felt totally confident when the time came to leave him.
He has been at Pitter Patter now for 4 months, he is developing brilliantly and clearly loves attending.

My two year old has recently started big toddlers. He has settled in very well. Pitter Patter nursery is a loving and well structured environment. He wakes up each morning asking for 'school' and is disappointed when he is not going. Excellent job by all the carers. Thank you.

My son has been at Pitter Patter for the last 3 1/2 years and has absolutely loved each of the rooms he's been in. The staff are wonderful and provide a very personalised service, taking into account any special requirements and extending learning (Big Toddlers and Pre-school) as and when appropriate.
The staff in each room seem to know the names of every child at the nursery which I think is testament to the amount of care and effort that is put into ensuring each child is cared for in the best possible way. The nursery were brilliant at helping wean my oldest son and I'm happy that my youngest (starting in a few week's time) will be given the same care and attention and receive the best, freshly prepared food from their kitchen. The nursery is constantly improving and the parents are kept well informed regarding new developments. There are gardens for each age group and there are lots of fun outdoor activities for the children, including an outdoor classroom and bug garden. Safety is taken very seriously including access to the facility and safety of the children on local outings. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my children to learn and grow.

Current Review Score: 8.2 (8.183)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.2 (8.183) out of 10 for Pitter Patter Ltd is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 2 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.2 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.958 for Pitter Patter Ltd is calculated as follows: ( (23 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 24 Ratings = 4.958
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.225 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Pitter Patter Ltd is based on 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 = 3.125
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 100 number of registered child places is 20. 2 Positive Reviews ÷ 20 = 0.1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
