This is a fantastic nursery. All my children have attended here at one point and have loved it. All the staff are lovely and very helpful.

I have two children, one of who is three and the other who is eighteen months in the nursery. The staff are so friendly, helpful and caring, my girls are so happy they come her. The youngest has downs syndrome and the nursery hold regular meetings, have a care package in place and even come to makaton
signing with me. The baby is relaxed, happy and content here, she even waves me off with a great big smile. New Brighton Day Nursery is the best.

My child loves coming to nursery. She feels very comfortable with all the staff, who understand her personal needs and create an environment that reflects a homely feel yet stimulating enough to encourage learning. My older son, now in year 3, benefited so well by coming here. When he left he was ready
to continue his learning journey and is now doing so well. It just goes to show how important these early years experiences are!

My son started attending nursery school in September 2015. He had not attended any other nursery before this one, although he was quite shy at first. He was made very welcome and soon settled in. I cant praise the staff enough. they are friendly, helpful and efficient. My son loves every minute he is
there. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My 2 year old daughter has been here since 8 months old and absolutely loves it. The staff have been fantastic and extremely caring. The resources available are great and the garden area is becoming a big favourite. I love being able to use ParentZone App to connect with my daughters activities and
progress whilst she is at nursery and I'm at work. Its got such a calm family friendly feel and many happy children. We genuinely feel lucky to have this nursery for our daughter.

My son loves coming to "school", and asks to go every day.
The staff do their up most to provide stimulating and exciting things for him to do.
The facilities are great too, I can't imagine leaving my boy else where.
Thank you.

My son has been going to this nursery since August 2015. He has come on in leaps and bounds with his speech, walking learning etc. I am happy to leave my son with the girls and he is very happy to be left with them. Everyone is polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend this nursery to friend
and family.

This nursery and its great staff have looked after both my children. The staff offer a warm and friendly welcome and encourage development from an early age. I know my children both enjoy coming to nursery, as there are always happy to see the staff and can't wait to go off and play. The facilities
and outdoor areas are great and made my choice and decision of nursery an easy one. I would recommend to any parent.

My daughter loves coming to New Brighton and is always coming home talking about the fun activities she has done. I cannot thank all the staff enough for all the hard work and effort they put into her day and since starting the nursery she has made really good progress. After having three children and
attending previous settings and nurseries. I have never felt as confident leaving my child with anyone else.

My child's transition from childminder to the nursery was made easy due to the excellent staff who I felt quickly recognised his needs. Communication is great and always feel that I get a true picture of his time spent there. My child has made lots of new friends and is enjoying the variety of games
and toys on offer one happy mummy. Thank you New Brighton Day Nursery.

I am so happy with my sons development since he started at New Brighton day nursery. He plays with other children instead of parallel playing and is communicating better too. I feel the nursery has made him more skilled in feeding himself and doing crafts and playing all different ways. The staff are
so friendly and he absolutely adores going I can tell he feels loved and just wish there were more available hours.

Current Review Score: 8.8 (8.752)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.8 (8.752) out of 10 for New Brighton Day Nursery CIC is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.9 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.819 for New Brighton Day Nursery CIC is calculated as follows: ( (59 Excellents x 5) + (13 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.819
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.933 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for New Brighton Day Nursery CIC is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 90 number of registered child places is 18. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 18 = 0.333
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
