My little boy will be starting when I go back to work also.
Thank you for the kind review, we can't wait to look after baby.
Always greeted by a member of staff who is friendly when I drop my little boy off. He enjoys going to nursery and has come on so well since going, he interacts well and I feel it is due to the staff and their interaction with the children. The nursery is always clean and tidy and the food is always freshly cooked.
Both my children have attended this nursery from a young age and I have never had any worries or concerns about leaving them when I go to work.
It is a big relief knowing my boys are safe while I'm going to work. I would highly recommend The Beacon Nursery to friends and family and both my children have been happy here. I will be sad when they have to leave.
I have no complaints from this nursery, the staff are really good with my child and very pleasant to us parents and my daughter loves going.
Fantastic nursery!!
My son started from 6 months old. He was a very particular little boy who was selective with who he went to, making me so nervous about going back to work after maternity.
He loves nursery. Walks in, sits himself down to breakfast and happily waves us goodbye. Dad called every day for the first 9 months (he probably still does), but never did they discourage this. They have lots of focused activities. They have taught him so much over the last 11 months, he now teaches me some moves to the nursery rhymes and songs. He is well behaved, goes to bed easily, eats his food nicely and I know this stems from having the consistency that the nursery provides in his daily activities.
The nursery is always warm and clean. The equipment always looks brand new! Carpets are spotless! (Other nurseries I viewed were terrible). They provide a balanced diet, offering a wide and varied selection of food.
My son is full-time at the nursery and is very well looked after. He has developed well in the time which he has spent there (approximately 2 and a half years) and as a consequence is forward in the way he is developing. His communication and social skills are particularly good and this is a good sign and indication of the care/assistance /support he receives at the nursery. Very pleased with everything.
My son has attended The Beacon Nursery since he was 9 months old. He is now nearly 5 and has returned since leaving for school for holiday club as he loves the staff and the nursery itself.
I feel happy and confident when leaving my son here as he is well looked after. The staff are all welcoming and friendly. My son has a physical disability and the nursery staff helped him and encouraged him to become an independent learner and liaised well with physio, occupational therapy and the portage worker regularly to meet all his needs.
My son has been attending one day a week since April 2017 and he seems to enjoy it. In particular, he likes the slide and eating all the tasty food! The staff came across as lovely - I am rubbish with names and it's hard to connect with only speaking to them for a couple of minutes once a week. I find the food diary useful but I would like a write up (brief) of what my son has been doing all day. I do get told but it would be nice to have a record. All in all a very good nursery in my opinion.
I have always been nervous about sending my little one to nursery. I hate the thought of leaving her, but I built up courage and started her off with two days a week at first when I got a new job. Beacon nursery is so warm and welcoming. My daughter loves to go to nursery. She enjoys her time there and is now doing full time. I can ring and ask as many questions as I like, they always listen and have time for me. They are always smiling and are so good with the parents and our children. Best decision I've made. My daughter is happy, therefore I'm happy.
My son started nursery dependent and clingy not speaking, now after 3 months the nursery have brought him up to the stages he should be progressing to. All the staff are amazing in The Beacon.
Management very welcoming. Explanation of activities, menu, care and procedures explained very well. Tour of nursery and introduction to staff and room all well promoted. No parking was the only thing putting us off. There is a pay and display but £1.60 per day for a 10 minute drop off is a lot.
