Spring Grove Day Nursery is a 50 place childcare service in West Derby, Liverpool and has a purpose-built indoor and outdoor areas to ensure children grow and learn in a safe environment.

They have a large outdoor space to carry out group activities that are proven to be effective in children's learning and development.

Catering for children 0 to five years old, the friendly staff aims to make the children and their families feel as comfortable and supported as possible. Spring Grove pride themselves on ensuring they have great parent partnerships with all of their parents and provide a home from home feel. This is to ensure the children have the best chance at settling into the nursery.

The team offer the very best care for children and their families to make sure the children receive the best possible start in life.

The nursery uses a key person system to fully support children's emotional and physical well-being. This helps children to develop in all areas.

Spring Grove Day Nursery provides breakfast, lunch and a light tea, freshly prepared by the qualified chef every day. All food is balanced, healthy and nutritious.

All staff have access to an online training academy, where staff can regulatory update and refresh a wide range of training courses.

There are three rooms available to ensure children can engage in age-related activities which support their learning and development and have access to the most appropriate resources for their individual needs.

The staff at Spring Grove thrive to work closely with parents and carers to make sure the children's needs are always met and so the children always feel happiest whilst at nursery.

My little girl is well looked after in the nursery and reaching all of her milestones. I feel the staff have a good understanding of her character and personality and support her well. Staff are extremely approachable and always have time for parents.

Wow-what an amazing nursery! I truly feel that all the staff genuinely care about my little boy. You often hear horror stories about nurseries, but I can confidently say this couldn't be further from the experience we've had at Spring Grove.


The staff are outstanding and always go above and beyond

to help. Our little boy wasn't the most straightforward case, yet every single concern we had was met with kindness, patience, and understanding, and we were never made to feel like an inconvenience.


We honestly couldn't speak more highly of this wonderful nursery and their incredible team. The staff go above and beyond in ways that truly mean the world to us. We feel incredibly lucky to have secured a place for our little boy!

This is my daughters home from home, she absolutely loves coming and feels so safe and settled. Staff are wonderful and so caring and kind and attentive, nothing is ever too much trouble. Will be gutted when my daughter has to start school, wish she could stay in this lovely nursery forever!

Our little boy has settled in so well and absolutely loves going to nursery. He really enjoys the activities that are planned each day and has built such lovely bonds with the staff.


The team are fantastic at communicating with us, and the app is great for keeping us updated and informed about everything

The staff are excellent. Supportive and caring my child enjoys going there and is coming on great with communication and skills and this is encouraged through different learning techniques and play.
With the regular updates (daily, weekly and monthly) and catch ups at the end of each day I feel I
have a relationship with the staff to be able to discuss anything with them if needed.
My child goes in happy and excited everyday and that give me peace of mind to know theyre in the right place with the right people.

My granddaughter has been well cared for, physically & emotionally , and I believe the staff involved in her care are genuinely interested in her health & wellbeing.
She has continued to grow and develop in many ways, and the progress reports , from ongoing assessments/reviews, are a true reflection

This is a fabulous nursery! My little boy runs in each morning and can't wait to attend which makes it for me! Staff are lovely, really caring and get to know your child inside out. My little boy has a fantastic bond with his key worker. We get regular photos and updates from nursery during the day
and the staff plan lovely activities with lots of outdoor time. Office staff are really responsive and nothing is too much trouble. We've used several nurseries with our children and recommend spring grove to everyone.

Our Son has been at Spring Grove Day Nursery since he was 10 months old and he absolutely loves it. Getting out of the car might be emotional but as soon as he see's the front door his smile goes ear to ear. The staff have been an incredible support for him and they've provided us with so much wrap
around care to support his development. We hear lots of mixed reviews from friends about their nurseries but we are comforted by the fact that the staff at Spring Grove go above and beyond.

My daughter has attended Spring Grove Day Nursery since she was 7 months old and she is now in pre-school. She loves going to nursery and has made some lovely friends. Our little boy started at Spring Grove Day Nursery in September 2024. We have felt completely at ease every time at drop off. The staff are really pleasant and very informative at pickup. We are always welcomed with a smile and we feel confident our son has a lovely time each day he attends. We are
kept in the loop with all of his daily activities and sent lovely photos of him enjoying himself via the app which as parents puts our mind at ease.

Can't fault Spring Grove Day Nursery at all. Took my daughter a little while to settle in (she's clingy) but the staff were so patient with her. She's now in the pre-school room and comes home telling us all about what she's done each day and how nice all her teachers are. The staff always take the
kids outside, even when the weather isn't great. They're always reading new books and doing activities relating to the books which is nice.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to friends and family.

We've been at Spring Grove for a long long time my older children attended and my youngest has not long started (well about 8 months ago) overall you can probably guess how wonderful it is for us to stay and keep coming back. My second youngest is currently in preschool and wow! How much he has come
along is amazing he can spell his own name and even write it in a straight line (I work in a school and some of our reception aren't even at that level yet). The staff are amazing and always encourage the children to learn to the best of their abilities.
Thank you Spring Grove I know he is going to miss you so much when he leaves in July for big school.

This nursery is one of the best around. My children have attended here for a while now, and I have never had any problems at all. All the staff are amazing, and especially the new manager, the things she has done to turn everything around is amazing.
