Oakfield Nursery School Ltd

All three of my children have attended or are currently attending Oakfield. They all love the nursery; my eldest often wishes she could return full time. Everything about the nursery is fantastic; the owner is so incredibly passionate about making sure every child achieves their potential and has the best experience possible at nursery. The staff are so nurturing and dedicated to their jobs. The children have fantastic experiences every day and I genuinely feel so lucky that we have such a wonderful nursery on our doorstep and that my children have had the chance to attend.

Oakfield is the best. I have had four children at this nursery and they have enjoyed every minute of it. The food, activities, surroundings, staff are all amazing and everything is delivered with care. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Oakfield is a wonderful early year’s environment. The staff are kind, loving and friendly and consistently go out of their way to help. They have accommodated extra days for us and have provided a vegan menu for my girls as they had some dairy allergies. When my second baby was born she was regularly fussed over when I was dropping her sister off and knew a number of workers when she joined a year later. My eldest girl never wants to leave when I pick her up. She was 4 in August but can read and write a number of words and is coming on in leaps and bounds in maths, a credit to the work at Oakfield. She is confident and extremely sociable and the nursery has played a big part in this. I feel really confident that my children are receiving first-rate care in a clean and beautiful environment. I could not recommend highly enough.

My son has thoroughly enjoyed this past year at Oakfield. He particularly loved learning about caterpillars turning into cocoons and one evening my son fascinated us all with the tale of the Titanic - which 'crashed into an ice-cube'! He is currently now teaching his big brother how to count to ten in Spanish. Brilliant!

Our daughter (now 18 months) started at Oakfield when she turned 1 and we couldn't be happier or recommend it more. All of the staff are first class, they balance a high level of professionalism with lots of love and care. It really is like a second home and it's clear that our daughter is very happy and secure there. Her development has also been great - they do so many varied, fun but educational activities with the babies every day. We visited a number of nurseries when choosing one for our daughter and Oakfield stood out by a long distance, and it has definitely lived up to expectations.

Oakfield is the best nursery in the whole world. First of all, the owner/director has strong leadership that is brought by a background of ownership, which is key to making this nursery very special. She has a very strong belief and passion to provide the best opportunities at the early stage of children's lives and she actually does by involving, by managing and by loving so many people which is really remarkable. Second, a lot of trustworthy people who share her belief and passion are devoting their lives in Oakfield. In terms of professionalism, their levels are unbelievably high no matter what role they are playing there. I have been so impressed for the last nearly 3 years by the level that Oakfield is aiming to reach, which is far beyond my imagination and expectation. As a result, my daughter absolutely loves Oakfield. Sometimes she even wants to go to Oakfield for weekends. My husband and I shall be grateful to Oakfield for giving her the best start in her life for our lifetimes.

Our son has just left Oakfield Nursery School Ltd to go to school and our daughter is currently in the Tweenies and Toddler group. My husband and I can't recommend the nursery highly enough to others - it is such a happy and caring place and like a second home to the children. All the staff know all the children very well, regardless of whether they are the child's key carer (we are greeted in the morning with smiles from everyone). The staff are experienced and the management team are 'hands on'. The focus of Oakfield Nursery School Ltd is on learning through having fun and helping the children reach their potential. The nursery has prepared my son extremely well for school and my daughter is loving it. We honestly couldn't be happier.

My daughter has been there just over one year now. We were impressed from our first visit to the nursery. She always seems very happy there, the staff are all extremely friendly and chatty. Considering the number of children and staff the place is always clean and tidy.

Our daughter was welcomed into Oakfield aged 12 months and has progressed through the Baby Unit, Toddler and Tweenies to Prep 1 Unit where she presently attends aged 2 and a half years. The team that has supported her on her journey have been superb. Firstly, giving care and reassurance to make her feel secure and loved, leading on to unique educational and social development at a pace to suit her personal rate of progression; but most importantly, every day she has lots of fun. We never have tears on the doorstep as she is comfortable, confident and happy at Oakfield which is as a result of the absolutely outstanding staff and strong leadership.

The owner's passion for high-quality childcare is evident in every element and I would highly recommend to any prospective parent - you wouldn't be disappointed.

This nursery is superb and I'm so pleased we chose this environment for our daughter.

The staff and management are fantastic and they clearly love their jobs. The attention to detail and love that my daughter receives is so comforting to us that we would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to friends and family.

Oakfield has been absolutely fantastic this year. I have two little ones attending who are thriving and doing incredibly well. The skills they have gained and their development is absolutely brilliant.

Going through a challenging time as a family this year, I can't thank Oakfield enough for being a solid constant and extremely supportive of our situation. The reassurance of knowing how well looked after, cared for and nurtured my little ones are is amazing. The facilities and energy of Oakfield is exceptional.

We have been incredibly impressed with Oakfield since our child started in the Baby Unit. There is a great energy which runs throughout the nursery, and all members of staff are very caring and engaged. Facilities are outstanding and spacious, both indoors and out. Our toddler has settled quickly and is happy to go to nursery each time.

Oakfield is a wonderful nursery where children are well cared for and thrive.

Our sons are really happy there and we are confident in the professionals who work there.

The staff are kind, knowledgeable and reassuring.

We'll be very sad when both leave to go to school!

Oakfield has been a part of my family for 7 years now. I have sent all 3 children to Oakfield. My eldest, now 7 years old has autism and we didn't know this until staff picked up on some unusual traits. I honestly think my son wouldn't be where he is now in mainstream school without Oakfield picking it up so early and he is doing amazing now.

My second daughter, now 5 years old also went and was so happy there and now my youngest daughter now 19 months goes there and again is very happy and really developing well. They really are an amazing nursery, not a bad thing to say.

Our son is now in his second year at Oakfield and we couldn't be happier with sending him to this brilliant place. Staff foster a genuine connection with the children whose educational and emotional needs are fully considered and provided for.

I cannot recommend Oakfield enough.

I now have my 3rd child at Oakfield Nursery School Ltd and have to say it is to my mind the 'best' nursery. If I could mark it above excellent, I would! My child feels secure and happy and is very well looked after meaning I feel happy getting on with my day too. There is a high ratio of fully qualified nursery staff to children and every day different activities are set out. It is very well structured and organised with much thought to your child's development. My child loves the dance, music and football sessions each week. The nursery itself is a beautiful building and has a very warm welcoming homely feel. My older two have left the nursery and were very well prepared for school and still have lovely friends from nursery. I cannot talk highly enough of Oakfield Nursery School Ltd as it has been, and still is, a fantastic part of my children's life.

We have confidence that our child's needs are catered for at all levels and that they are getting the best all round experience and education at the nursery, as our child is extremely important to us and we are delighted with the experience and service received to date at Oakfield.

Oakfield Nursery School is an outstanding environment and I have no hesitation in recommending it to all parents of young children.

The progress in their development has been outstanding and I know my children think here. It is in my mind the best nursery in the area and deserves every credit.
