Little Red Day Nursery is a purpose-built nursery in Ashton-under-Lyne, built with the care and development of children as highest priority. Built into a modern bright and inspiring day nursery with ample parking, the nursery is sure to be the right choice for you and your child.

Little Red Day Nursery offers excellent facilities. Each room creates an environment that has been designed with a focus on the unique needs of children.

There are a number of additional features that enhance the nursery's facilities, including a Sensory Theatre and a large indoor adventure play area, designed especially for their older children and not forgetting the babies and toddlers, they have a purpose designed soft play area.

To compliment Little Red's facilities, they also have an imaginative toy town, where the children's imagination has no boundaries, an area for parents to relax and have refreshments while visiting, and ample parking and drop-off zones

Little Red Day Nursery has been the perfect choice for us. The staff have all been fantastic. The care and support my daughter has received has been second to none. They have supported her learning and kept us involved throughout with excellent communication. They accommodated our request for cloth
nappies without issue and have answered every question completely, providing extra support and advice on potty training and beyond. She started here at 9 months old and is now moving on to school at 4 years old and she has been excited to attend the whole time. Cannot recommend Little Red Day Nursery enough.

My little boy has just started with little red. The nursery is amazing, they have lovely spacious rooms, that are always set up with beautiful activities. Staff and children are always engaging with children when I drop off and pick up my child. My child has settled pretty much straight away where he
never really did this at his previous nursery, I'm so glad we have changed to little red.
The manager is very accommodating and you can tell she is very much a family person and is involved with every child. The manager always welcomes you when she sees you, my child's key person is amazing and I'm so glad he's really settled with her and every other staff member.

My daughter started at Little Red Day Nursery when she was 2 years old and she always loved it in there. She gets on really well with the staff and has many friends. She's soon turning 5 and she's very sad that she'll leave the nursery to primary school.
I feel that staff is very friendly, caring
and supportive and has played a big role in my daughter's development.
The communication between the nursery and parents is excellent and the management is very flexible and approachable.
Throuhout the years I've never had a negative point to raise and couldn't be more satisfied with the service.

My son has attended Little Red for several months now in the waddlers room. It's taken him a little while to settle in as it's such a new world for him and i cannot thank the staff enough for keeping me updated on his progress and reassuring me that they all develop differently and some take longer
than others to settle in.
It's so nice to see my son progressing and being told he is now playing and joining in with the activities and actually interacting with other children which he has never done before. Seeing his artwork he brings home and his photos what he gets up to is amazing.
I cannot thank the nursery manager enough as well, we have current on going social care involved due to no fault of our own and she has remained so pleasant, professional and so supportive taking the time to check in with us and making sure we our happy and my sons needs our met.
It was an absolute blessing finding and sending my child here and i will be absolutely sending the next one too :)

Great Nursery, all the staff are lovely. They look after our daughter very well. She talks highly about all staff.
Very secure with finger print entrance and password systems.
Very flexible with days and times.
Great management, very responsive.
Our daughter loves going to nursery. She enjoys
telling us about her day, what she has eaten and activities. She looks proud of herself when she brings crafts home. It's lovely!
Also great app for essential communication. Staff often update on her progress and development.

As a mother, finding out that your child could be on the spectrum. Little Red has guided me with all the things that needed to be done. I feel like my son is so safe there. I don't worry about anything when he is at nursery, even though I worry about him all the time. It is like his second home.

Since my child has started at this nursery, I have seen remarkable improvements in her development. Her confidence has soared, and she now engages more actively with both her peers and the staff that look after her. The nurturing environment on supportive staff has played a significant role in this
transformation. Additionally, her speech has improved significantly. She is now more articulate and expressive, thanks to the engaging activities and interactive learning methods employed by the nursery. She can't be wait to bring her pictures home every day to hang on the fridge!
When I didn't think we were ready for potty training the staff helped us make real progress in this area too and she is now fully trained without any accidents.
This is my second child that has attended here and I am so pleased with the positive impact and growth this nursery has had on both my children's development. Thank you to all the staff for creating such a warm and welcoming environment for my children.

Little Red Nursery has been incredible in supporting my daughter with complex needs for over a year. The secure biometric entry and regular updates gives me peace of mind, but it's the dedicated staff that make this nursery outstanding. They go above and beyond, working closely with us and healthcare
professionals, providing 1:1 support to ensure her EHCP is fully implemented and she gets the supports she needs.
Since starting, my daughter has made amazing progress-she is happier, more confident, and excited to go every morning. The staff have been instrumental in potty training, encouraging independence, and tailoring activities to her developmental needs. Their commitment to her growth is unmatched, ensuring she is always supported, challenged, and thriving. I am beyond grateful for their dedication, and I cannot recommend Little Red Nursery enough!

It's been an absolute joy watching our daughter blossom in the Waddlers room at Little Red Day Nursery.
The staff are truly exceptional. They are incredibly caring, attentive. We've been consistently impressed by their patience, kindness, and the creative ways they engage the children with different
activities everyday.
The regular photos are great.
The nursery itself is a bright, clean, and stimulating environment. The play areas are well-equipped, and the children have plenty of opportunities to explore and learn through play.
Our daughter has made significant progress in her social skills, confidence, and overall development since starting at Little Red Day Nursery.

Our son is very happy to go to nursery and from the photos we see each month, he looks like he is having a lot of fun. There is a broad variety of activities available each day and he is happy to tell us what he has been doing while at nursery.
The staff are very friendly and our son is happy interacting
with a few different members of the team, not only his key worker, which is very reassuring.
Prior to Christmas, it did seem that each week he brought home some new bug, whilst common during the winter period, it was starting to become concerning. However, nursery seems to have tackled the issue post-deep clean.
The only thing I could wish for to improve the service would be if they could open from 7 am rather than 7:30.

We've had a great experience, my daughter transferred from another nursery and loves it at this one, the facilities are great, the staff are kind and friendly and we are happy. They genuinely care and do a great job.
We also really like the fingerprint-at-the-door device and you can just walk in,
at other nurseries, you aren't allowed in and normally have to wait at the door for a while.

My son has been attending this nursery for a few months now, and he loves it there! He has come on leaps and bounds, and his confidence has grown massively, as well as his social skills. My little boy started at Little Red Day Nursery just before his 1st birthday. I was so anxious but the staff were absolutely brilliant in easing my anxieties, simple things like letting me know how he was getting on and that he'd settled ok. As time has gone on his confidence has grown due to all the
fantastic staff in the baby and Waddler rooms. I love the fact that the main office is next to the entrance and that the whole building uses fingerprint security. I highly recommend this nursery and am very sorry that due to moving out of the area we will have to leave.
All staff are friendly and welcoming and get on fantastically with the children.
I love the events that staff do for parents to attend, Christmas and Halloween come to mind.
The choice of also having flexible care due to being a shift worker has been a massive help too.
I best decision I ever made relating to childcare.

I am so pleased we found Little Red for my daughter, who has special educational needs. She had struggled to previously settle in other nurseries as she would only really settle with family members she felt secure with. I was so anxious about finding her a nursery she could settle and be happy in. When
I first met everyone at Little Red I got such a warm and genuine feeling from everyone there. Even before my daughter started they showed such care about wanting to help her settle and suggested and did lots of things like photo books of the staff for home, to help her get familiar. There was and still is a genuine care for her happiness and my daughter absolutely loves it there and loves every single member of staff that takes care of her. I have visited many nurseries and can honestly say in my heart of hearts by far I believe I found the best. Can't thank everyone there enough.

My son started this nursery when he was 3.5 years old, due to having to leave his previous setting. He has recently left this nursery to start school, so didn't get to stay for long which is a shame as the nursery is amazing. As he went to two nurseries, I was able to compare and Little Red was so different.
They had a separate dining room and little toilet cubicles just for the children. This could be normal for most nurseries, but in his previous setting, they ate in the classroom and had 1 shared toilet amongst the staff and children.
They have great outdoor play facilities and an indoor soft play section in Toy Town (upstairs).
The children are able to learn to be independent because of all the facilities and resources they have to offer.
They always have different activities going on for the children which is great especially if your child can become easily bored and distracted.
They keep you updated with everything on the app they use so communication is great.
10/10.

The staff at Little Red have all been amazing towards my daughter since she started nursery when she was only a year old. Everyone there has been caring and kind towards her. The manager always ensures any small issues are dealt with quickly. Would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Little Red is a brilliant nursery. A well-organised setting with different play/learning areas throughout all of the rooms - from babies to pre-school.
The staff are amazing and have always been so kind and supportive to not only our daughter but to us, as parents.
Our daughter has absolutely thrived
throughout the 2.5 years at Little Red and has really helped her prepare for school.
