We chose stepping stones because of the friendly and professional staff on our visit and the big, well equipped outdoor area. Our son settled in very quickly and made friends easily. We found the staff to be welcoming and encouraging. Our son thrived at the preschool learning about numbers, letters, countries, cultures and how to share and play in a group. He was always really happy during his time there and came back with great stories of what he had done. We moved out of the area and were sad to leave Stepping Stones.

My daughter enjoys her time at Stepping Stones. She's always been comfortable there, never any tears when leaving her and quite often there's grumbling when it's home time.
The pre-school in particular is strong and she learns a lot. She always seems to be challenged and comes home with new information quite regularly which is great. I think she knows flags and countries better than me!

I have a good rapport with the staff, they are always friendly, courteous and update on the daily activities. The food seems to be healthy, balanced and well thought out, my daughter always eats everything at Stepping Stones. I would definitely recommend the nursery to anyone and I believe that my daughter has a good foundation for going to primary school.

Our second child currently attends pre-school and has attended from eleven months. We also sent our other child to Stepping Stones. Both have enjoyed their time at the nursery and were always happy to go. They have both been encouraged to learn and I think that attending had a positive influence on our oldest child, who is now thriving at primary school. A recent Ofsted report highlighted the teaching in pre-school as strong, and I expect our youngest child to reap the benefits when she attends school. We wouldn't hesitate to send other children to the nursery in the future ... AND our daughter eats food at the nursery that she won't touch at home - cheese for example!

I couldn't recommend Stepping Stones enough. My eldest has been there for 3 years and my youngest just 6 months. I think it says a lot for the nursery when your child says 'yey nursery today'. All the staff are lovely and since the manager has come on board it's gone from strength to strength. The main things as a parent that I look for is good first aid and safeguarding and that the children all look happy and all the above is more than met. All the women that work at the nursery are brilliant with the children and so caring.

My daughter started in May and she loves it. We still have problems dropping off in the morning but the staff do all they can to calm my daughter down and help her over to breakfast. I don't have any faults regarding the nursery and I would highly recommend to anyone.

My daughter has attended Stepping Stones for over 2 years and we have been very happy with the nursery. The staff go above and beyond and love that the setting is quite homely and they are always keeping you updated on progress. My daughter always comes home having had a good day and looking forward to going again. Only leaving due to relocation otherwise would be staying at Stepping Stones.

I have 2 children who attend the nursery and the staff were excellent in helping them settle in. The nursery looks super after a recent refurbishment and there is a caring atmosphere - almost a 'family' feel.
A range of activities have helped my children develop both socially and academically and my 4 year old is definitely ready for school now.

Parents are updated daily and termly and the staff are professional, friendly and easy to approach. Would recommend!
