Kids Planet Davenport is situated in a residential area close to Stockport town centre and caters for babies through to pre-school.

The nursery is a 60-place-setting and has been established for over 40 years.

The nursery has large, bright and colourful rooms, with each room designed to meet the needs of the child at their specific development stage.

It also benefits from a sensory room and each room having direct access to there own garden, which is specifically designed for children and their early development.

Safeguarding children is an utmost priority, therefore the nursery provides a secure door entry system. CCTV is located both indoors and outdoors, ensuring that each child’s safety is paramount at all times.

Amazing nursery and best decision I have made putting my daughter here. She goes in smiling every time and comes out so happy and on the days she doesn't go actually asks to go!
Staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable leaving a child in their care.

Amazing nursery, both of my children have been here, and both love it so much. The staff still make my daughter as welcome as she was when she was there herself, its like one big family, warm and welcoming.

Excellent staff, who are excellent with the children. They deliver well-planned activities, with daily updates available through the app to track meals, sleeps and learning.

I like this nursery so much, to the extent, I wish my son will continue here for reception. I love the staff here, the room is clean and there are lots of things for the children to learn and enjoy. As I am a single mother, the support I receive from the staff in this nursery is amazing. We raise my
son together and I am beyond grateful. This is the best nursery for kids.

Our child only recently moved into the toddler room and we were impressed with her progress since. She started talking much more confidently, expressing her feelings and being able to reflect on her day and even activities in the past. She enjoys her days at nursery and the activities during the day
e.g. gardening, music, yoga, theatre and french lessons. She is always very proud to tell us about her day and she has a strong bond with her carers. Thank you for giving her those amazing experiences every day.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough! My daughter has been here since January 2018 and loves it. The staff are so friendly and really do go above and beyond, I take my hat off to them. The range of activities they do with the children are fantastic; French, music, trips out, there's no shortage of
things for the children to do. My daughter is constantly developing and the nursery will prepare her perfectly for school.

We're really happy with how our child has grown and developed confidence while at Kids Planet over the past 3 years. The range of activities, outside space and discipline, have really been impressive. Our child enjoys going in each day and has a great relationship with the staff. It's just the right
size to feel like everyone knows everyone by name, but big enough to help prepare our child for school. We've felt well supported and that our child's best interests are catered for.

My daughter started to attend this nursery at the start of September and by the mid of October, she has grown so much. Her confidence and speech just picking up all the time.
Every morning she asks me whether we have to go to nursery or not, which is a really good sign of progression and eager to tell
back what she did in nursery when picked up.
I like the activities and outdoor area is excellent for the kids to play etc.

My son loves this nursery, he has been coming for two years. He has come on leaps and bounds since joining. He has formed some really great relationships with the staff and other children too. His key workers since joining, are both fantastic assets to this team.
The food is great too. All staff are
approachable and friendly but the regime is structured and children know what is expected of them. There is a real family feeling to this nursery.

My 2-year-old daughter has been going 2 mornings since January 2019. She took a while to settle in, the attention the team have given her to settle and make her feel welcome is amazing. They go above and beyond. She now absolutely loves going, she asks to go on her days off.
The communication with
us parents is brilliant. We love all the activities that she gets involved in and special weeks like space week, where we were building a space rocket as a family.
We will be keeping her here until she is at school age.

Since my son starting at Kids Planet Nursery a month ago, I can see a change in him already. He's learning lots and is becoming very independent. My son has begun to trust the staff and get to know the other children, where he no longer sticks to me when it's time to go in. There is a storage shed for
prams/bikes/scooters which is convenient for the walkers. Staff are friendly and communicate well. There are different rooms for different ages, which I think is great. Another bonus is that the nursery is located in a quiet area with a park just next door.

This is a fantastic day nursery. Returning to work was made so much easier by the incredible staff who take the time to get to know your child. Communication is excellent and supported by the online system, allowing me to see what my child is doing whilst I am at work. I can't praise the staff enough,
they really care about the children and are committed to supporting the whole child.

Our son has been attending Kids Planet for over a year, and he absolutely loves his time at nursery. He talks about the staff and all his friends. The nursery uses an app, which is fantastic to see all the activities he's taken part in and the food he has eaten throughout the day. When you arrive at
Kids Planet you feel so calm the nursery is just so inviting and smells amazing. The staff are all warm and friendly and go above and beyond for you. Our son comes here one day per week alongside a childminder and the care and attention of the staff have made transitions for him so easy to deal with. I really enjoy looking at all the displays and interaction around the nursery which give a sense of belonging and inclusion to all parents. You can tell the staff really enjoy what they do and this can be seen thoughout the nursery environment. I always recommend Kids Planet - it's just fantastic for children and their parents.

My son really enjoys attending this nursery. He always enjoys his day and comes home talking of what he has been doing. The staff always inform me of his progress and send pictures of him throughout the day. He has a really good bond with the staff in his room.

This nursery is fantastic! Our child has come on leaps and bounds since coming here. The staff are brilliant and really care about the individual needs and development of each child. We are kept up to date with everything he is doing on a daily basis and feel extremely comfortable and confident that
he is in a safe, happy and caring place. The wide range of facilities also means that he is always busy and inspired to develop and grow.

We moved from another Kids Planet Day Nurseries to the Davenport branch. The transition was extremely stress-free and the nursery staff went above and beyond to accommodate our son in settling into his new setting.
The online system “parent zone” is fantastic as it allows parents/carers to view photographs,
see what your child has eaten and learning progress. It is updated regularly so it is great to be able to see the difference the nursery makes to your child’s learning and growth.
I would highly recommend Kids Planet Day Nursery. In both locations, we received brilliant attention and care. Our son loves attending nursery and telling us about his days.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Natalie Littlewood is the Nursery Manager for Kids Planet Davenport. Natalie has a Childhood Studies degree and over ten years of experience working in Early Years. Natalie is also the nursery SOCCO (Designated Safeguarding Coordinator) and therefore, she ensures the nursery remains safe and secure for all the children.
