Nina's Nursery (High Lane) Ltd

Without the commitment and dedication of the staff team and remaining open throughout the Covid-19 crisis, as a key worker family my wife and I would have failed to help others. Having a safe and inviting environment has enabled our daughter to thrive, she is now able to communicate just how much she loves her ladies and the amazing time she has at nursery, she even revels in the physical and developmental home tasks that is encouraged to perform at home. All in all we cannot praise the staff team and management enough for all the wondrous things they have done and continue to do to make our daughters tine with them a joyous experience.

Our child returned to Nina’s Nursery (High Lane) Ltd after being off due to shielding. He was welcomed back with open arms, the team were wonderful in ensuring his transition back into nursery life was calm and considered. We receive updates via the easy to use app where we can check his progress and see pictures of what he has been doing. It’s wonderful to see the joy on his face as he’s exploring the varied and interesting activities the staff put together for the children. The staff are brilliant and so caring with the children. He comes home full of wonderful stories and so chatty, it warms our hearts knowing he’s so happy at Nina's Nursery (High Lane) Ltd.

Both of my boys, age one and three love it at Nina's Nursery (High Lane) Ltd. Everyday they come out happy and full of stories to tell. They have both learnt so much while being at Nina's Nursery (High Lane) Ltd, growing up to be well rounded, happy and curious boys. The communication is brilliant. It’s lovely to see what they have been up to each day. They do such a range of activities including Forest School, making play dough, painting, creating obstacle courses, going to the park, feeding the ducks and so much more. At all times the staff are helpful and have built lovely caring relationships with both of my boys. The environment is lovely and has supported them both so well.

My son absolutely loves this nursery and is so happy to go each day. The staff are friendly, helpful and kind. We have been so impressed with the resources and activities that are provided and especially with all the outdoor learning. The communication with home to support skills and learning is fantastic and we love the learning that gets sent home too. Our son has become so much more independent while at Nina's and we are so pleased that we found this setting for him.

I love this nursery! They really care for my daughter, she loves going. The staff are polite and caring and I really like how they teach the kids. I would recommend to any other parent!

Our son adores nursery. The staff take real pride in creating new activities and promoting learning. They take an interest in our son's likes to really encourage his development, and his speech always surprises me on the trip home. I love that they encourage independence, our son isn't 3 yet, but he already enjoys crafts and using the scissors to snip after trying it at nursery. He loves the food too, he eats much more at nursery than he does at home. I might have to pinch recipes!

We would recommend that the nursery could communicate more openly with regard to the types of activities undertaken through each day as well as uploading more to the Capture site.

Both our children have attended Nina's since they were 10 months old. I have been impressed with every aspect of the nursery. The children love going to nursery for both the staff and all the activities. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery. 5 *

We have found that our child loves coming to nursery. The staff are all talked about and she calls them her friends. We have never had any issues and would fully recommend for others to use.

As an outdoors/adventure person I love the approach of Nina's. It encourages the kids to discover and learn for themselves. Just like me, my daughter loves to explore and go her own way, also Nina's encourages a great connection with nature and the outdoors.

My little girl has been coming to Nina's High Lane for over three years now. She only attends two days a week, but I can honestly say she never wants to not go. As a parent, I love the curiosity approach the nursery has gone down, and so does my little girl. I originally chose this nursery over others as it felt more homely, and this was important to me.

This was the first and only nursery that we looked at as all the staff were so lovely and welcoming, I also loved there newly accreditation the curiosity approach. My child has only been here a couple of months and settling in was not a problem at all. They absolutely love going and are usually stood by the door waiting for me in the morning. It’s lovely going to pick her up as she’s always so happy and contented. I absolutely love getting updates on the app too it’s lovely to see what she has been doing. Thanks to all the staff at Nina’s Nursery.

I thought I would write a little review as I think the nursery and the staff here do an excellent job and deserve some praise. My child only attends 1.5 days a week but I can see how much of an impact going here has had on him. He has come on so quickly and his face lights up every time we mention nursery. I have been to a couple of parents evenings and I am impressed with what work goes on and the activities that the children get up to. I would really recommend this nursery if you are in need of one, pat on the back to all the staff, thank you.

I could not praise Nina's Nursery High Lane enough. With their discovery methods, my child has flourished in his learning and is showing brilliant development skills. He is naturally quick at learning new skills and they have only aided and guided him to always develop more. He is always happy and smiling upon collection and excited to describe all the fun activities he has done throughout the day. Overall a brilliant nursery I’d recommend to everyone.

Our Granddaughter has attended Nina's Nursery at High Lane for over a year. The ethos is for the Babies, Toddlers and Children to learn through experience and to develop the whole child by engaging them in creative, educational and massively fun, hands-on activities. The Nursery often uses natural raw materials to play with, employing the Curious Play Approach - rather than relying on mass-produced plastic toys. DIY Kids - Make your own fun. Nina's provides real challenges and gives us full peace of mind knowing that she is safe, happy and stimulated. The learning and developmental approach, and atmosphere, are magnificent, as is the food which is freshly prepared and cooked onsite. It is refreshing to see all the children well cared for and to witness them develop social and other skills through positive interactions, facilitated by the professional, friendly, approachable staff. The level of care and support from the team is fantastic. My return to work and change for my daughter felt daunting but the girls made sure that she had enough settling in sessions and that we both felt comfortable. They went above and beyond. She enjoys her days there and these are always jam-packed with fun and exciting activities.

My daughter started this nursery in the toddler's room at two years old and she is now almost four and in the preschool room. She absolutely loved both rooms and the cursory approach they teach. My daughter is now a very inquisitive and keen learner and loves to tell me about all the things she has done at nursery. As a mother, I love that they are frequently taken out into the community and are not afraid to get muddy in the neighbouring forest.
