The building itself has a great layout for keeping everything organised, clean and tidy. A very safe, secure space with excellent outdoor areas that are utilised in many different ways for the kids. Ours has developed so much since attending and he loves the staff to bits.
Only negative is that the doorbell/intercom system is a little slow at pick-up and the app they use isn't the best but the staff still make great use of it. The place is 10/10!
Staff are very welcoming and happy to greet during drop-off and pick-up.
My child is happy and loves her key person.
My little boy has settled so well, he loves the nursery and the staff are so good with him. He’s coming along so much with his confidence etc. They have the children outside in the garden a lot as well, which he loves, thank you.

Their key workers communicate well and regularly give updates on the app with how their development is doing and activities they are getting on with.
My son has a milk allergy and I’m confident in the team and the procedures that are in place for him.

My son has been attending Busy Bees for almost 2 years and absolutely loves Nursery. The staff are friendly and caring, the rooms are spacious with outside areas, and the meals are varied and healthy. There is frequent communication from the key workers and management, meaning we know what events are planned and what our child is doing day-to-day (through conversation and the app). My son had several allergies when he started and Busy Bees went above and beyond the ensure that he was catered for and safe, without feeling left out at mealtimes. He has formed a great relationship with his key worker and is always talking about what he and his friends have been doing. During the changing Covid situation we have been kept very well informed and feel that staff are doing everything they can to keep everyone safe. We feel very fortunate that our son goes to Busy Bees and has another couple of years to spend here.
I think the nursery have accommodated coronavirus really well, they have protected the children and staff and managed to maintain a fun and friendly experience all around whilst being under strict measures. The nursery is always clean and tidy and the garden is fantastic for the children to play in. I feel like both my children love going to nursery, the only thing my daughter has found challenging is the change of key worker too often. This is mainly due to coronavirus and can't be helped but some of the time due to staff rotating rooms. I think she would have preferred the same key worker for a longer period. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.
My son has been at this nursery since he was around 7 months old and my daughter has just started. They both had their own little things which with the support from the nursery around adapting to his diet and my daughter is not used to people due to COVID lockdowns have made such a difference. The space the children have outside and with the hall inside is great and the staff are so caring and helpful. I have no worries about leaving the children as I know they are so well looked after, do some great activities, eat healthily and have fun. The new events and parent sessions that have been set up recently are also a really good addition to support the children and us.
I have to say, I am very upset my daughter will not be coming to your fantastic nursery anymore; unfortunately we are moving locations. No other nursery has come close to the welcoming feel of your nursery, its dedicated and committed staff and its lovely atmosphere. From day one, you have helped her to settle in and reassured me. You have planned interesting activities for her, given her lots of cuddles when she needed them, and helped her to develop. You have always liaised with us as parents so we have never had to ask anything, which has been great considering she started when she was only three months old! Your staff are fantastic (enthusiastic, clearly know what they are doing, always a smile on their face and always committed), your facilities are also brilliant. I finally also have to say a huge thank you to my daughter's keyworker for being superb and so reassuring. I would recommend your nursery to all parents, especially those with younger babies.
It is very comforting to see the enjoyment of all of the children and staff at Busy Bees - the environment has always been positive, fun and highly educational. The support they offer at Busy Bees is outstanding, the staff are a credit to the nursery and the manager and admin have also gone above and beyond to help, advise and support me and my family whilst here.
I would recommend this nursery and the facilities they offer all children. All of the staff are very friendly, warm and approachable and the manager is available to speak to you anytime, as well as the admin.
Thank you Busy Bees for all that you have done for my child, who I am confident will take all of these valuable experiences forward in life.
I now have my daughter there soon to be leaving in August, ready for big school and I will miss the support from Busy Bees and all the staff thank you for being truly amazing over the past seven years.
I have found this nursery to be exceptional from day 1 when my eldest child started here almost 2 years ago. My youngest also started recently and the standard of care is as fantastic as it was then. I viewed several nurseries (which I really wasn't happy with) before finally viewing Busy Bees and felt comfortable as soon as I walked through the doors. I love the security measures in place, the friendly nature of staff members, the food choices, the daily routine and the fact that they don't expect all children to be the same and encourage each of them to develop their skills based on their specific interests and learning through play. All staff members go over and above to cater for each individual child's needs and genuinely care for all of the children and form strong bonds with each of them.
My children have been at this nursery for three years and they have been so happy here. Every member of staff who has worked with my children (almost all of them over the years) has been so friendly and made our children so comfortable there. I am confident in leaving them both in the care of the staff here as I know they will be well looked after. They give lots of cuddles and have really helped both my children grow in confidence. They have also taught them so much, they come home with new skills almost daily that I know they have learned at nursery.
We will all miss this nursery and the staff there lots. The food there has been very varied and encouraged our children to try new things. There are also sports classes run by an outside instructor for the older children which my little girl loves.
This is one of the best nurseries that my daughter attends. I went for different viewings, some because of building appearance, others because of how affordable it is however as we walked into Busy Bees we knew straight away that it was it. We felt very welcomed by the nursery manager and her staff, the place was clean and it was just such a great atmosphere. Highly recommend it and have been recommending to friends and family. Thank you for taking care of our little princess the way you guys do. Thank you.
Staff here are extremely patient and skilled. Our little daughter is very well looked after here. Through the fun interaction games, she had become a very sociable bubbly child. It made us worry free whilst working, knowing that our little one is in this nursery.
My 2 year old son has been coming here for over a year so has moved up a group since he started. The care he has received has always been exceptional. As a first time mum, it was very difficult leaving him when I first returned to work, but the staff were so supportive to both my son and to me. I felt reassured that he was in safe hands and was also having a great time. He has learned so much from coming to Busy Bees which showed very quickly when he first started. In the mornings the staff will always be there to give him a cuddle when he needs it at drop off time. The staff engage with the children and are always down on the floor playing with them. They are happy to chat with the parents at the end of the day and it is always great to hear about all the things he has been up to. I have always found the layout of the nursery very open and appealing with all the children's rooms off the central communal area. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
Brilliant food, such a wide variety and always pushing boundaries and exploring new tastes.
Great range of activities and a good mix of structured and free play. Good use of outdoor area whenever weather allows. My son has progressed so well and seems to learn something new everyday!
The staff are incredibly supportive and approachable and have made leaving my son in childcare when I returned to work so much easier.
Cannot praise this nursery highly enough, my son is so happy and content here and has formed special bonds with both staff and the other children.
I am really happy with Busy Bees at the University of Salford. My son has been going there for 10 months and he loves it. I feel like they take a genuine interest in his well-being and that he is offered a range of activities to stimulate his development. The rooms are well kept and the outdoor areas, whilst not huge, offer plenty of space for him to run about. Communication between staff appears good and I get a 'report' of what he's been up to/what he's eaten etc every day when I come to collect him. I, like many Mothers i imagine, was nervous to leave my Son with 'other' people. I can honestly say I have complete faith that he is well looked after at Busy Bees and that he truly enjoys his days there.
My daughter attended this nursery from 10 months old and it's the best thing I have ever done. The staff are absolutely amazing and I have no reservations dropping my daughter off at nursery every day. The children are very well looked after and cared for.
The nursery itself is very well set out and very professional, but such a lovely fun environment for the children. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Busy Bees, there is no other nursery that compares to this one and I would highly recommend this nursery to any new mums wishing to place their children in childcare.

Meet the Team (1)
Hello, my name is Maraya and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Salford. I have successfully completed my qualifications and have been working in the childcare industry for over 10 years.
I started working for Busy Bees in 2018, and it has been an amazing journey. We have secured an Outstanding inspection in the year of co-managing our centre and I am confident that my team and I will continue to offer that excellent childcare experience.
I too, have a child who attends the nursery and as a parent, I completely understand how it feels to leave your child with someone new. This can be such a challenging period while children settle in, and families get used to their new routine and I want to reassure you that we are here to support you every step of the way.
Our team work hard to ensure your child feels safe and secure and they achieve the best they can before they move on to their next chapter of school. As well as helping our children to thrive at nursery we also have a very committed and motivated staff team and with continuous development they achieve the best outcomes for the children as a diverse nursery, we ensure that all children and their families are celebrated.
