A home from home. I was initially reluctant to leave my child in a nursery but after visiting several, Fisherfield, Middleton stood out as the place I would be happy leaving my child. Staff are genuine and caring, showing awareness of every child's needs and development. My child has strong bonds with several staff, who clearly create a safe, loving environment for him to grow and learn away from home. I struggle to leave my son in childcare but know he is happy here. They are all outstanding and I could not ask for more from them. My son loves it here and that makes for happy parents.

Our first and only daughter started at this nursery over 2 years ago. It's such a scary time for any parent putting your child in a nursery for the first time. We had been to several in the area, but none like this. It ticks all the boxes for us. Firstly it's always immaculate, along with this the rooms are large and it isn't overpopulated. It might sound daft but the lighting is great as well. My daughter absolutely loves going and loves the nursery workers. The new play area at the back is great and the food they serve is homemade and super healthy. I've referred several family members who all go and are also over the moon.

I am the Nursery Manager at Kids Planet School House and have worked in childcare since 2007, progressing through the sector into a leadership role. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where every child feels happy, valued and confident to learn and grow. I truly love what I do and believe that when staff feel supported, valued and empowered, they are able to provide the very best care and experiences for children.
Outside of the nursery, I enjoy spending money I probably shouldn’t (mostly on good food!) and relaxing with a challenging 1,000-piece puzzle. I am also a very proud mum to two grown-up children, who have both now flown the nest and are busy making their own way in the world.
