We have nothing but positive things to say about Kids Planet Hopwood, the staff are fantastic and the overall environment is such a positive, nurturing one. Our daughter has really come on since she started 9 months ago. She loves it and looks forward to her days there!

Kids Planet Hopwood is amazing. my child loves it here. She attends for two days, soon to be three, and enjoys every moment. They do lots of amazing activities. Always working with parents to ensure the best for the child. The managers are always helpful and informative about anything needed or any
incidents. Also, with my child having allergies and health needs, offer all alternatives and ensure she never feels left out.

The staff are fantastic, they understand the children so well and have really helped my daughter to settle in. I feel comfortable dropping her off there knowing that she'll be safe, happy and well looked after. The app is really good too. It helps to keep track of how your child is getting on and provides
reassurance throughout the day. The nursery is very well managed and parents are kept up to date with any events and notices. The facilities are very good and the activities provided give the children lots of opportunities to learn and have new experiences.

Fantastic nursery, all the girls are so lovely! They do a different activity with them everyday, my son is so advanced for his age, especially with his speech. He looks forward to going in, seeing all the girls and his friends and the food is amazing, it’s like he is eating at a five star restaurant!
They take them to the park / local trips out and have big outdoor spaces where they can explore and get fresh air.

Kids Planet Hopwood is fantastic. Currently have my second child there, first one attended three years previously (before Kids Planet took over but other than admin everything is the same). The staff are approachable, friendly and care for the whole family not just the child. Happy to discuss anything
and take the time to hand over. There are always varied range of activities that are age-appropriate and the rooms have recently each had a makeover to keep them relevant. Theme days, charity days and children's interests are also considered and included in the day to day provision. When possible the children are outside with fantastic views of green space. The nursery are great at catering for dietary needs from my experience. And in regards to fees are level with all other local provisions. 100% recommend them to anyone looking for nurseries in the area.

My daughter has been at this setting now since September 2021 and has absolutely and continues to thrive. She had very little skills in the way of language when she started and within weeks this developed very quickly. As well, she has complex dietary requirements which have always been catered for
whilst ensuring she remained inclusive to her peers. Incidentally, she continues to eat a wide and varied diet through the rotating menu, a lot of which she will only eat at the setting and not at home! Communication has always been fantastic and we have very regular updates on the day or if we have an ongoing issue being addressed, always handled professionally, but friendly at the same time. My daughter loves being at this setting and the staff are held in very high regard by us all, not looking forward to when she outgrows her time here, but in the meantime I know she is in very safe and capable hands and is exposed to many enriching activities!

Liza Tierney

Job Title: Nursery Manager

My name is Liza Tierney, I have worked at Kids Planet Hopwood since 2004, working my way up from new starter to nursery manager. Over the years I have watched hundreds of children learn and thrive in our setting building some strong bonds with our families to ensure the children get best out of their time with us, some of the children have gone on to now have their own children attend the setting, which is amazing to see and be part of.
Away from the nursery I enjoy going for picturesque walks with my family and doing every fun day out i can with my own child. We love the outdoors as does our dog Dottie.
