My daughter has just finished pre-school at Brighter Beginnings New Moston. She started at 12 months old so we have been going there 3 years. I really recommend this nursery for the great team who work there. As it is a smaller nursery the staff really get to know your child and have done a great job
of helping build my daughters confidence and self esteem. My daughter felt really valued there. LO struggled with seperation anxiety and the staff were always really understanding and generous with their time to help her at drop-off. A lovely nursery.

I couldn't be happier with the care and support my 11-month-old has received at Brighter Beginnings New moston The staff make us feel completely welcome and reassured - their kindness, patience, and professionalism stood out immediately.
The staff are very attentive, and it's clear they genuinely care
about each child as an individual. My little one has settled in amazingly and always has a big smile going in and coming out. It's such a comfort knowing they're in an environment that's not only safe and nurturing but also rich in learning and play.
The nursery is clean, well-organised, and full of fun activities. I also really appreciate the regular updates, photos, and feedback, which give me such peace of mind and help me feel connected to their day.
The staff at Brighter Beginnings have truly created a home-from-home atmosphere.

My son loves going to nursery at new moston and his development has come on massively since starting here, i always get such good feedback at parents evenings and the staff are lovely. Any issues i have had have been resolved effectively and efficiently and always in such a professional manner.

Highly recommend New Moston Brighter Beginnings. My little boy has been here a few years now and my little girl nearly a year. The staff are welcoming and so friendly and my children love them too, even running to them in a morn which is a testament to the relationships developed. Both children have

I can not recommend this nursery enough, my girl loves coming to nursery. The staff are amazing, they are all so welcoming and loving towards the children. The manager is fantastic, she is always so helpful and has fantastic parent partnership. I was so worried about leaving my daughter but honestly,
it's the best nursery I've seen and all the staff are brilliant and are willing to answer whatever question I ask without any issues! Baby room staff are so helpful and it's lovely to see my child smile for her key worker. Thank you so much for making going back to work so much easier.

Every single member of staff here made a huge impact on me and my children. My kids were only here for seven months but felt like we'd known them forever, they truly treat your children like one of their own. I wish we found it sooner. The staff put so much time, effort and patience into our children.
The SENCO is full of knowledge and supported us throughout a diagnosis and educational, health and care plan (EHCP). The nursery truly feels like a second family. We are so gutted my children have to leave now however all staff have ensured they are prepared for their big schools. You can tell how much every individual child meant to the staff. The girls keep asking to go back, that's how much they have loved it. Honestly, can't thank the nursery enough!
All managers have been amazing with me and my children. They've had loads of interaction with my family and have reassured us and resolved any issues we've ever had.

I currently have two children at the Brighter Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, New Moston and I honestly couldn't wish for a better nursery for them, the nursery is outstanding. All of the staff are so friendly and amazing with the children, the children love them all as much as I do and have formed
secure attachments with the staff members, completely feel safe leaving them here. There is always a range of different activities for them to do and sometimes even go on little trips or walks which the children love, they have come on so much since starting this nursery, I will be really sad when they have to leave to go to school.

My daughter has attended this nursery for 3 years. When she first started it wasn't the best nursery, then a new manager came in and everything changed, it was such a happy place, the staff was so friendly and supportive. She would always come out to speak to parents as well as the staff who had been
looking after the child that day. All of the staff made a really good effort to get involved with parents. Then a new manager took over and everything just went terrible! The new manager never introduced herself to parents. Still to this day, I have never met the new manager. My daughter went on packed lunches from home in April. The nursery is still charging me for school dinners 3 months later! Also, I think it's disgusting charging for supplies such as paints, pens and other things when it is a nursery. f you don't want to provide them don't put them into the establishment! My daughter is leaving this month thankfully! All of the other staff are absolutely amazing!

The positives never end for the new Moston setting. From the moment I stepped in the door for a look around, I knew this was the nursery for my son. The staff are very welcoming and helpful nothing is too much for them. They are absolutely fantastic with the children and provide a wide and wonderful
range of activities. The manager is absolutely amazing such a breath of fresh air and is hands-on with the children and doesn't just hide away in her office. I recommend the nursery to everyone who's looking for a nursery for their children as for me there is not a nursery that beats the new Moston Brighter Beginnings.

Best nursery ever the girls here are the best always friendly and have good communication my daughter loves going to this nursery she was meant to move in September to a primary school but because of how good the girls are and how well the nursery is me and her dad kept her in this nursery for another
year wish she could always stay here don’t want her to leave next September she always goes to nursery with a smile and comes home with a smile telling us about all the good stuff she has done in nursery I recommend this nursery to anyone if I could give more than 5 stars I would 100% recommend for anyone with small children up to the age of 5.

I love this nursery, since starting my child has come on leaps and bounds and all the girls are lovely, so welcoming and always keeping me up to date. There have been loads of recent improvements since the current manager started and lots of good changes. My child loves coming to nursery and 9/10 waves

My daughter has attended Brighter Beginnings since she was 10 months old. In the past 8 months, she has come along so well due to being at this nursery, she struggles with engaging with other people and being around other children, however, all the staff at the nursery have really brought her out of
her shell and she's become so much more confident with others around her.


I can't recommend this nursery enough when it comes to every last thing with the children, knowing your child is in a happy safe environment every time they attend. Also really understanding each and every child's needs, especially the children like my daughter who take a little bit longer to adapt to others and new surroundings. Definitely, the best nursery I could have chosen to put her in.

My name is Jennifer, and I have worked at Brighter Beginnings for 13 years. I started as an apprentice at Brighter Beginnings New Moston when I left school, I then went on to complete my level 3 at Brighter Beginnings Charlestown where I worked my way up to Deputy Manager. I then went on to Newton Heath Brighter Beginnings as a Manager for 3 years where we achieved an outstanding grade from Ofsted. Since then, I have returned to Brighter Beginning New Moston to cover maternity leave and I am supporting at other buildings, ensuring high-quality childcare. I have gained lots of knowledge and experience along the way which has helped me to understand child development and give children the most amazing experiences in their first years of life. I have a daughter of my own who is currently in year 1 and we love taking our dog Honey on lots of walks and having lots of family time.

My name is Lucy, and I have proudly worked for Brighter Beginnings for the past two years. As an Assistant Manager. I am deeply committed to ensuring that every child receives the best possible care and learning experience. Since leaving school, my passion for early years education has driven me to continually develop my knowledge and skills. Over the years, I’ve gained invaluable experience that has allowed me to confidently fulfil my role, supporting both the children and my dedicated team.


I am based in the 2–3-year room, where I also take on the role of room leader. In this position, I work closely with my team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment, ensuring that every child’s developmental needs are met. I am responsible for delegating tasks and guiding my staff to provide the highest quality of care. This role allows me to see first-hand the joy and progress that each child makes, which is incredibly rewarding.


Outside of work, I am a proud mother of two wonderful children, aged 8 and 4. We love spending quality time together, whether it’s enjoying days out, catching the latest movie at the cinema, or embarking on exciting family holidays. Family time is so important to me, and I cherish the adventures we share together.

My name is Ellie, and I have had the pleasure of working with Brighter Beginnings for three years. Currently, I am the room leader of the 0–2-year-old room, where I am passionate about providing a warm and caring environment for the youngest members of our nursery family. Before joining New Moston, I spent time working at our Burnage branch. This experience was instrumental in helping me grow professionally, as I gained a wealth of knowledge and insights that have been invaluable in shaping my current role as a room leader.


The opportunity to work in different nurseries has been an enriching experience. It has given me a broader perspective on early childhood education, allowing me to bring new ideas and improvements to my practice here at New Moston. My goal is to always create a positive and engaging environment that supports both my team and the children.
