Woodfields Day Nursery

My son has gone to another preschool and didn't really like them and cried non-stop. He used to have paint all over his jacket and top and I'm not even exaggerating, they would give him ice cream before leaving so I had a hyper kid who was cold. But with this preschool, things changed the first day. He cried at the start but very quickly got used to it, he was clean and ate sensibly. The staff are so good and friendly. The manager seems very polite and organised and all other staff are great with him I would highly recommend this preschool. I feel safe knowing my kid is in great hands.

My daughter started this nursery in September 2020, she had four half-day taster sessions and absolutely loved it. Since being at Woodfileds, she has come a long way with her eating and speech, she seems a lot more content meeting new people. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone as they've made both me and my daughter feel very welcome.

My son currently attends Woodfields and my daughter attended from the age of nine months until leaving for school. They have both loved going in every single day and my little boy who was quite shy before he started, has completely come out of his shell and is now a very confident and happy boy. I can’t praise the staff highly enough, they are supportive, kind and they genuinely care for all the children that attend. My daughter loves it when we go to pick her brother up and she gets to see the staff who she adores and we all as a family now class them as good friends. The nursery is clean, welcoming and has a lovely homely feel to it. The facilities are fantastic and it has a great outdoor play area. The food is well balanced, fresh and even my daughter who is very fussy always really enjoyed the food there. I can honestly say that I couldn’t recommend a better nursery, it is fabulous.

My eldest also attended who is now 7 loved attending Woodfields. I highly recommend Woodfields Day Nursery great setting, atmosphere, healthy food, still don't know how they manage to get my son to eat fish fingers, and overall lovely caring staff always smiling.

My son has attended Woodfields from being 6 months old. He has been consistently happy and settled throughout his time at the nursery, he made lots of friends and looks forward to going every morning. Every single member of staff is caring, supportive and have always gone above and beyond. His keyworkers have always supported his needs like he was their own. The nursery managers, have been incredibly supportive and made his time at nursery one to remember. I couldn't have picked a better nursery to cater for the needs of my son.

Woodfields nursery has been absolutely fantastic with my son, who had struggled to settle in a previous nursery. The manager listened very carefully to our past negative experience and reassured me giving me lots of examples of how they deal with more sensitive kids. My son settled really quickly and started improving his communication skills since he started there. I love the routine and activities they do and I completely trust all the staff. It’s a clean cosy environment and my son feels safe and happy. I highly recommend it.

My other son who is now 8 years also went to Woodfields when he was 20 months till school. Again, the staff were all fantastic with him and he came on so much during his time here. It's nice to see a lot of the same staff still at the nursery. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

This nursery is an amazing place with outstanding staff and care. The facilities are always clean and fun and there is always plenty to do. The staff are all amazing and such lovely people, they always put the children in their care first. The relationship between myself and the staff is excellent. I am given daily updates on my child. My child has truly flourished whilst attending this nursery and I couldn't have chosen a better place for her. I would highly recommend this establishment to anybody looking for a place for their children to be loved, looked after and nurtured. My child loves this place and wants to go every day, she calls the staff her friends as well as the children and is always excited and happy to see everyone there. It is like a second home and is truly an amazing place with amazing people and facilities. The food and drink provided to my child are always fresh healthy meals that are tasty and are always made fresh with a child-friendly, menu that gives them their five a day.

My son has joined this nursery when he was 13 months old, beginnings are very stressful to the child and parents so I am forever grateful for all the staff for their understanding and for helping him to adjust in such a short time. I love that they have 5 weeks set menu so the diet is variable. I never feel he is hungry when I pick him up, he eats double portions and sleeps 3 hours a day which is so important for his right growth and development. I feel that my child is well looked after and what most important he is having a good time while at nursery. Ladies are super nice and always smiling. I love the opening hours, not many nurseries are open since 7.30 which for me is great as I start work at 8 am. Location is also great as it is right in the centre of Bury, easy to get to. The last thing I would like to comment is that activities provided at nursery are great, it seems that little peeps are always busy!

My son loves this nursery and has come on massively since joining. The staff are fantastic and have been brilliant regarding my son's food allergies they talk me through the menu every day and offer him good alternatives to the food he can't have so I don't feel like he's missing out. Thank you for looking after my boy I know he's in safe hands with you guys.

There's Plenty of activities for him to do during the day and he's made lots of friends.

The food must be great as he always has seconds.

I would recommend Woodfields Nursey to everyone and anybody looking for a nursery place. I don't really think of Woodfields like childcare, I feel the nursery is more like an extension of my family. All three of my children have been to Woodfields and my youngest is leaving to go to school this year and I'm really going to miss all the advise and help "my extended family" has given me and my children.

The food is all home cooked and excellent meals, they are also very good at providing other meals as my daughter doesn't like a couple of things and they always make sure she has something.

I would definitely recommend Woodfields as a safe, caring and professional place for your children to grow.

Excellent nursery, staff are very friendly and spend a lot of time one-to-one, also providing excellent meals and fantastic facilities.

It’s very rare that you will find staff like the ones at Woodfields. Positive, encouraging and genuine. Each and everyone makes such an effort with the children and my daughter is doing amazingly thanks to them. I couldn’t recommend a better nursery.

The nursery is fabulous but the staff are absolutely amazing and make the nursery so amazing. The staff are always cheery with smiles and are like extended family. My lil boy loves going here and does have his favourites, can’t recommend the staff or nursery enough. Great variety of food, activities and stuff to learn.
