Woodfields Day Nursery

My Son started Nursery at woodlands in August and he has loved it. The staff are amazing and they give amazing care, they all seem to genuinely care and are down to earth. He has developed leaps and bounds since starting. And we can rest assured that he is in good hands.

My son started woodfields nursery in September, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. As parents we enjoy hearing about all the of the things he does on a daily basis, from messy play to painting & playing in the sand pits. Would highly recommend.

My youngest has been attending here for 2 years now and is off to big school in September. Woodfields has given her the best start in her education. My eldest also went here and she is thriving at school now too. I am so greatful to all the staff who have taken care and taught my girls.

Our eldest daughter has been at Woodfields for 2 and half years. She has blossomed in her time here. The staff are all really supportive and approachable. We are so happy that our daughter has been able to grow in such a positive, happy environment. Our second daughter will be starting at Woodfields in the New Year and we are excited to have the Woodfields team as part of her journey too.

Since our daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 10 months old, we have see a massive improvement in her development and learning. We have done both term time and all year round, we have also done full days, half days and swapped days around, in that time the level of care has been fantastic and they have accommodated our requests as best as possible to suit our lifestyle and working commitments. I really like the fact that she's eating healthy nutritional meals and is now learning to self feed. she has established a routine which we try to maintain at home of meals and naps. She is engaging in activities and the nursery staff have gone above and beyond to make sure she is safe, cared for and well-looked after. She is doing really well and that is a credit to the whole team and staff. Thank you for helping our daughter grow.

My son started going here one day a week. Ready to change to full-time come January and I have to say my son's attitude and outgoing is overwhelming when he's been always happy and talkative. And full of joy coming when I pick him up. All the staff are extremely friendly and always get an end-of-day report of how he's been, what he's eaten etc. Couldn't be happier with sending my son here and would recommend to others.

My daughter started nursery here full-time in March 2024. She absolutely loves it here and enjoys going in every morning. You can really see that she has bonded well with the staff and other children. When she started she couldn't walk, talk or feed herself with cutlery. In the space of 4 months, she is now walking, starting to say words and she feeds herself confidently with cutlery at meal times. She really has progressed massively in such a short period of time and it's all thanks to the staff at Woodfields. I will always recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a place for their little ones.

The best nursery. Staff are absolutely lovely. I feel confident entrusting them with my little girl. She always has such a good time at nursery and her confidence and development has come along so much since she's been attending.

She has learnt to clear her plate and wipe her mouth. She even came home and put her rubbish in the bin. I love what she is learning in the nursery, she is doing at home. They really build the children's confidence which is great for the next step. Would 100% recommend the nursery to anyone.

I just knew this would be my son's nursery from the very first visit. He's been here under a year and it exceeds my expectations, I have felt so comfortable dropping him off knowing the level of care given. The girls and the manager can't do enough and I cannot recommend Woodfields Nursery enough! Excellent!

Both myself and my other half have worked in education for the past sixteen years so perhaps see things through a different lens than most people but we're happy to say that this really is a great nursery. It exceeds expectations in all areas. Woodfields has our full confidence and the next baby will also be attending Woodfields.

We have had a great experience with Woodfield's nursery from when my daughter started in July 2022. The staff have always been very friendly and accommodating. They were very patient with her difficulties with feeding and eating as she had issues when she was little. I found it very helpful to get useful tips from them. I think the care provided has always been of a very high standard and my daughter has always looked forward to coming in. She has learnt so much and enjoys spending time with her friends and cuddles with staff.

Woodfields is an amazing nursery! With a little one with additional needs, they have made every day easier for my son in making him feel accepted. My son loves coming here and is excited to come for another year to come.

Our children started nursery in June this year and love it. They have made significant progress in all areas of the early development stages since their enrolment, which I believe, has a lot to do with their experiences here. It is clear that being surrounded by other children of similar age while also receiving support from their keyworkers and nursery staff has enhanced their progress across all areas. They are very happy at handover in the morning and we are always greeted with smiles when we pick them up. They always get well balanced meals here which we love as nutrition is very important. As parents, we are extremely happy with the care and support they are getting on their nursery days. We can't recommend Woodfield's enough!

My child has been at nursery since being a baby he loves all the staff at nursery and looks forward to coming everyday. I always receive descriptive feedback at the end of his day and look forward to hearing about what he has been up to.

Absolutely recommend this nursery, my son has been here for ten months so far and he has settled in lovely. He has grown and developed so much since he joined the baby room at 9 months old and the staff have been fabulous great communication daily and I feel relaxed leaving him here for the day while working, he has developed a strong routine and enjoys his meals and exploring new activities and made some friends.

My child began nursery at the end of January 2023 and it took nearly five months for her to settle fully. The manager and her staff were consistent in their approach to help her settle, and reassured me when I rang each time to check how she was. As a previous nursery manager myself, I struggled to find a nursery setting that I believed to be 'the one'. However, I knew Woodfields was right for my little girl as soon as I walked in. The children were settled in each room, my little girl actually wanted to get down to join in, and the staff were welcoming. Fast forward five months, my little girl, at one year old, walks in, waves and shouts bye and takes herself off to play. She has strong bonds with not only her key person but all the staff, including the chef and the manager - in fact she loves a cuddle from the manager. It is so nice to see the range of activities she does on a daily basis too and even more so the mess she makes from joining in. She has already learned so much! Thank you ladies!
