We absolutely love this nursery. My daughter has come on so much since starting here, especially with her speech and communication. She began in pull-ups and is now confidently in big girl pants, which is a huge milestone for us.
She has made lovely new friends and is always excited to go in. The girls in Maple Room are all fantastic, and my daughter truly adores every one of them. We feel so lucky to have found such a caring and supportive place.
He has several care plans in place that are displayed for all staff. They always make sure he's included by having dairy free and egg free options for him which means he never feels left out. The nursery being completely nut-free is also a huge bonus because he carries an epipen for a peanut allergy.
The nursery keep 2 epipens of his with his other medications for allergies which means we don't need to bring his epipen bag every day.
He also has random skin reactions with unknown triggers. The manager put another care plan in place and keep his medication safely should it be needed.
They have recently redecorated and its got a very calming vibe which is great.
From the minute I visited poplars, I knew that this was somewhere that I would feel comfortable and confident in giving my child the best care, when he's away from home.
The staff are fantastic, they are all so warm and friendly and have such a positive impact on my son's development. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough!
They have an attention to detail and always answered any question I've had. Couldn't recommend enough.
My son started at the beginning of the year, and I'll be honest-I wasn't ready. Up until that point, I'd never left him with anyone other than his dad, so starting nursery was a huge adjustment for both of us. From day 1, the staff have been absolutely incredible-not just with my son, but with me too, especially as I can be quite a worrier. My son initially found it difficult to be apart from me, which we expected, but it didn't take long before he began looking forward to nursery days. The patience, love, and genuine passion the team brings is far beyond what you'd expect. It's not just a job to them-you can see it in their excitement when the children reach milestones and in the sincere cuddles they give when someone's hurt. They've become such important people in my son's life, and for that, I'm incredibly thankful. Poplars has always had a fantastic reputation, but it has exceeded every expectation. I'm truly grateful they have been such a meaningful part of my sons journey so far.
My son has been going to poplars for around 9 months now and he loves it, on pick up he never wants to leave! The staff are great, really friendly, caring and approachable. The bond between my son and his key workers is amazing! Poplars has had alot of building upgrades lately which have made the inside area more open, bright and welcoming. The outside area is good but could be better, however I believe due to be upgraded soon.
The staff are all wonderful and are enthusiastic at the end of the day to discuss your child and their achievements. They are always approachable to discuss any concerns. I am impressed with how my daughter's development has progressed since starting at Poplars Blossoms and feel that this is in part due to the holistic activities planned by nursery staff; often taking inspiration from recent experiences of the children.
My daughter loves her meals at nursery. A four week menu provides a variety of balanced meals.
The recent renovations to the nursery provide a comfortable environment with many new toys to support the children's development.
This summer the children are regularly in the garden; older children enjoying play equipment, whilst the babies have a rug to explore on.
Thank you to everyone at Poplars Nursery School.
We have had nothing but top-tier experiences with Poplars Blossoms - I cannot recommend them enough! As a first-time mum, I was so nervous to put my daughter into nursery. The lovely team in the Acorns room put us at ease straight away from our daughter's first settling-in day (and continue to do so 6 months later). It's been a joy to see our daughter create such positive relationships with the nursery team and the other children. We love the activities they offer and feel they've helped develop our daughter into such a confident and sociable little girl! Thank you Poplars Blossoms!
I have a child attending now and also had a child attending 2021-2024. I liked the nursery before but I absolutely LOVE it now. The nursery since being took over is absolutely beautiful and I love the approach. I love that there is an app to tell you everything from what they've had for lunch to how many toilet visits and even when sun cream is applied.
Big thanks to to members of staff too as my little girl has really gravitated towards them
Would 110% recommend!
Thank you so much for your kind words, the staff work incredibly hard and it is showing with the wonderful care and education they provide
Not only has this nursery invested heavily in the environment and furniture but they have created a sense of calm and safety. From the minute you walk in its clear how much the staff love the children and there is no performance put on. The staff can tell you specific things about your children which I find amazing considering how many there are. They also go out of the way to remember your name as a parent. Even though there is a comprehensive app detailing what your children had done and eaten they always take the time to talk to each and every parent. I will admit I was hesitant when I heard Poplars was going from a family run business to a chain but this is not the feel you get. The managers have absolutely maintained the family feel and it's a beautiful place to go. I couldn't have wished for a better environment for my son to learn in and the staff are beyond wonderful.
Thank you so much for your review, it is wonderful to hear the hard work the Manager, Deputy and staff team are putting in, is paying off
Within a few weeks, he was running through the door beaming at the staff! Found all staff to be warm, welcoming and approachable.
His social skills and speech have come on heaps and he's a very happy, funny little boy.
Lovely friendly staff! Lots of variety of activities and food! They have famly app so I can see what my son has eaten, nappy changes and nap times-which is very useful! I also get individual messages about mu child and what he has been doing
