Kindred West Bridgford provides a friendly, home from home environment supported by warm, caring and qualified mature staff that have extensive childcare experience.

The nursery has a lovely, natural half-acre garden that is used all year round. There is a grassed area, logs to climb on, stepping stones, a climbing wall, a large bark area and even a dirt area to make muddy pools and the most fantastic wigwam to play in!

The garden is open for the children to enjoy every day, and regular activities include planting and forest school activities including den building and bug hunting.

There are also regular Forest School workshops for the children all year round. As well as Forest Schools, other specialist practitioners come into the nursery each week to provide French, Music and Movement and Yoga classes.

There is also a fully working ‘child size’ kitchen where children learn to weigh, measure, prepare and cook food. The nursery is happy to accept all nursery vouchers and offer Nursery Grant places. All meals are prepared and cooked on the premises.

My son is now at Kindred West Bridgford since almost a year. Having relocated from Australia we were worried for him to get accustomed to a new environment. The staff, facility and the way the classes are structured really made him feel at ease since day one. The facility has a big outdoor space with
a section dedicated for the little ones only. The staff is caring and dedicated. I could not recommend it more.

I have two children who go to Kindred West Bridgford and cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff are caring, compassionate, knowledgable and fun, and have always gone out of their way to do right by our kids. Five stars for Kindred!

We are so happy with Kindred. The nursery makes us as a family feel welcome and reassured. The staff are kind and attentive and truly enjoy the work that they do. Kindred feels like a nurturing environment for my child. They provide a wide range of activities and there is a real focus on outdoor play.
We are well informed on a daily basis about activities. My little one has thrived at the nursery. I can't recommend Kindred highly enough to people who are looking for a safe and homely environment for their children.

My son started when he was nine months old and left just as he was about to start foundation in a school.
The staff are fantastic, very caring and treated my son so well. He enjoyed going to nursery. The nursery always organised lots of fun activities for the children in line with the month/special
event.
The graduation ceremony for the children was fun and special.
Having everything on the app to see/read what my son had done for the day was excellent. If I needed to check on my son during the day I could call up and speak to a member of staff in his room.

Our daughter is very happy at Kindred West Bridgford. The staff are fantastic, so caring and look after our daughter so well. The chef prepares delicious home-cooked food every day, and the menu is very varied. We couldn’t recommend it enough.

We have been extremely happy with the nursery for so many reasons. Our son is enjoying it so much and it feels good to drop him and see him going with a smile on his face. He learns a lot there and does many different activities every day. The staff are fantastic, they are all lovely and we can tell
that they take good care of our son. Besides they always communicate well on how the day went and which activities they did with the kids. The app is also very helpful to keep track of it and we enjoy watching the pictures. The manager, is very nice, a good listener, very supportive and accommodative. Warm and caring, Kindred West Bridgford Nursery & Pre-School has looked after our children splendidly, from mini tots through to school club. We have been very happy with the nursery so far. The staff made a real effort to ensure our daughter settled in her first few weeks and were patient and understanding with us as parents. The staff in the baby room seem to have genuine and caring relationships with the babies and notice and report on
little things which are reassuring. We have been impressed with the range of activities creative, learning, outdoor and our little girls really looks forward to being there which says it all.

We have recently moved to Lady Bay and our little boy has started preschool 2 days a week. The transition from his last school has been great. The Manager and all the preschool team were welcoming, caring and went out of their way to ensure that our son settled. The variety of activities is really great
and the kids are able to both learn and be nurtured. The food is served is super yummy too and is great knowing they eat healthily every day.

Fantastic nursery my son has felt at home from his first day. He is visibly excited when we pull up outside the nursery in the morning. The variety of activities they do with the children is brilliant and they have all formed a great connection with my son. Their procedures and management is simple
and helpful, no issue or question is too great. This nursery is a second home to my son and I feel so comfortable leaving him there.

Alphabet House is wonderful. It's such a welcoming and loving environment. Our eldest joined in 2014 and our youngest daughter is there. The staff are kind, caring and well informed. They really know the children and give the nursery a very "home from home" feel.
I recommend Alphabet House to anyone
who asks.
Not only is the inside stocked with all that the children's needs but they have the most amazing outdoor space. Plus the homemade flapjacks are delicious.

Hi I'm Kelly. I decided to begin my career in childcare after helping out as a parent at my son’s nursery and saw the rewards of working with children.


I now have over 20 year’s experience, as well as a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management and qualifications covering first aid, food hygiene and child protection.
