I am a committed and collaborative early years professional with over five years’ experience as a Nursery Manager, bringing strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills to any team. I am currently undertaking a Level 7 qualification in Early Years Practice and Leadership, which has strengthened my strategic thinking, reflective practice, and ability to lead continuous improvement across provision.

Alongside my management experience, I hold key responsibilities as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and SENCO, enabling me to support children, families, and staff with a child-centred, inclusive, and safeguarding-focused approach. I work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, local authorities, and parents, ensuring compliance with statutory frameworks while maintaining high-quality care and education.

My background in AAT Level 2 has enhanced my financial awareness, budgeting skills, and understanding of sustainable business practice within early years settings. As a mother of six, I bring strong empathy, resilience, and practical insight into child development, family dynamics, and the importance of teamwork in fast-paced environments.

I am an experienced Deputy Head with 18 years of experience in early years childcare, bringing extensive knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and inclusive practice. I hold a Level 3 qualification and carry key leadership responsibilities as SENCO Lead and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), supporting children, families, and staff to ensure safe, high-quality provision.

In my role, I work closely with the Nursery Manager and wider team to support the day-to-day running of the setting, maintain compliance with the EYFS and safeguarding legislation, and promote consistent standards of care and education. As SENCO Lead, I coordinate support for children with additional needs, liaising effectively with parents, external professionals, and local authority services to ensure early identification, appropriate interventions, and positive outcomes.

As a DSL, I demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection, ensuring policies are followed, concerns are responded to promptly, and staff are supported through clear guidance, training, and supervision. I am confident in leading by example, mentoring staff, and providing practical support to maintain a calm, professional, and child-centred environment.

Farah Ayub is an experienced early years practitioner currently undertaking a Level 5 qualification in Childcare. She holds the role of Toddler Room Leader, where she demonstrates strong leadership, organisation, and a clear understanding of child development and the EYFS.

As a SENCO, Farah supports the identification and inclusion of children with additional needs, working closely with parents, colleagues, and external professionals to ensure children receive appropriate support and interventions. She is confident in implementing inclusive strategies within the toddler room and promoting positive outcomes for all children.

Farah is skilled in team management, providing guidance, support, and day-to-day supervision to staff within her room. She leads by example, maintains high standards of practice, and contributes positively to team morale. Her calm, professional approach ensures a safe, nurturing, and well-organised environment that supports both children’s learning and staff development.

Hafsah Khatab is the Preschool Room Leader and holds a Level 5 qualification in Early Years. She brings strong knowledge of the EYFS and a child-centred approach to supporting children’s learning and development in preparation for school.

Hafsah works closely with the NELI Preschool Programme, supporting early language development and helping children build strong communication skills. As a Maths Champion, she promotes early mathematical thinking through purposeful play, routines, and adult-led activities, supporting children to develop confidence with numbers, problem-solving, and reasoning.

In her leadership role, Hafsah supports staff within the preschool room, models high-quality practice, and ensures a well-organised, stimulating learning environment. She works collaboratively with parents and the wider team to ensure children make consistent progress and are well prepared for their next stage of learning.

Samina Ali is the Baby Room Leader and holds a Level 6 qualification in Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT). She brings a strong theoretical and practical understanding of early child development, particularly in supporting babies within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Samina is working towards becoming a SENCO, demonstrating a clear commitment to inclusive practice and early identification of additional needs. She also holds responsibility as Third Person in Charge and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), supporting the implementation of safeguarding procedures and ensuring children’s welfare remains a priority at all times.

In addition, Samina acts as the Health and Safety Officer, overseeing risk assessments, daily checks, and safe working practices across the setting. She is actively involved in working with the Millie’s Mark framework, contributing to high standards of paediatric first aid, emergency response, and safeguarding practice.

Samina is recognised as a calm, knowledgeable, and dependable leader who supports staff effectively, maintains high standards, and promotes best practice within the baby room and across the wider nursery.

Zahra Sahebzada is a Baby Room Practitioner and holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years. She supports the care, learning, and development of babies within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, in line with the EYFS.

Zahra works closely with the baby room team to meet children’s individual needs, supporting routines, play-based learning, and positive relationships. She demonstrates a caring and attentive approach, ensuring babies feel secure, settled, and well-supported throughout the day.

Zahra is a reliable and committed team member who contributes positively to the smooth running of the baby room and upholds the nursery’s high standards of care and professionalism.

Sadia Qureshi is an early years team member currently undertaking a Level 3 qualification in Childcare. She supports the day-to-day care and learning of children, working closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-organised environment in line with the EYFS.

In addition to her childcare role, Sadia is responsible for nursery purchasing and shopping, ensuring resources, consumables, and equipment are ordered efficiently and are well maintained. She supports the smooth running of the setting by monitoring supplies, responding to staff requests, and helping maintain cost-effective and organised stock management.

Sadia is a dependable and supportive team member who contributes positively to both the learning environment and the operational needs of the nursery.

Sadia Jahanxzeb is a Nursery Nurse Apprentice currently working towards a Level 2 qualification in Early Years. She supports the care, learning, and development of children under the guidance of qualified practitioners, in line with the EYFS.

Sadia assists with daily routines, play-based activities, and maintains a safe, nurturing environment for children. She is keen to develop her skills and knowledge, demonstrates a positive attitude to learning, and works collaboratively with the team to support children’s wellbeing and development.

Celine Yassin is an Early Years Apprentice currently working towards a Level 3 qualification in Childcare. She supports children’s care, learning, and development under the guidance of experienced practitioners, in line with the EYFS.

Celine assists with daily routines, play-based learning activities, and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. She demonstrates a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and works well as part of the team to support children’s wellbeing and development.

Celine is a committed and enthusiastic apprentice who is developing her professional practice through a combination of training and practical experience within the nursery.

Nusaiba Bakari is an Early Years Apprentice currently working towards a Level 2 qualification in Childcare. She supports the care, learning, and development of children under the guidance of qualified practitioners, in line with the EYFS.

Nusaiba assists with daily routines, play-based learning activities, and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. She demonstrates enthusiasm, a positive attitude to learning, and a willingness to develop her skills and knowledge as part of the nursery team.

Yasmin Ahmed is a valued member of the nursery team, currently working towards a Level 2 qualification in Childcare. She is known for her high standards of cleanliness and organisation, ensuring rooms and shared areas are kept tidy, hygienic, and welcoming for children, staff, and visitors.

Yasmin supports the smooth running of the nursery by maintaining a clean and safe environment in line with health and safety requirements. As a mother of four, she brings practical experience, reliability, and a strong understanding of children’s needs, contributing positively to the daily routines of the setting.

Sadia Sabrina is the Nursery Administrator, providing vital administrative and organisational support to the nursery. She is responsible for managing day-to-day office tasks, maintaining accurate records, and supporting effective communication between staff, parents, and external agencies.

Sadia plays an important role in ensuring documentation is up to date, supporting compliance requirements, and assisting with the smooth running of administrative processes. She is organised, reliable, and approachable, contributing positively to the overall efficiency and professionalism of the setting.
