My son has attanded this nursery for nearly a year now and he's just flourished! He's made so much progress and gets along with all the staff at the nursery. There are ample activities for the kids to do and the staff are also very helpful with anything you may be struggling with ie potty training,
speech etc

My Daughter has been coming since last year, she is quite shy and doesn't like change. Lisa was so lovely and accommodating with what I needed at such short notice. I took her for a visit and she really didn't want to go, but the staff here, made her feel so welcome, more like visiting family. When
I went to pick her up after her first day there, the bond she had created with staff was unbelievable! My daughter is 8 and only goes in the school holidays but she truly loves coming here and looks forward to seeing her friends, the staff and the fun activities they do with her. I just wish that I had of chosen this nursery when she was little. I would 10000% recommend. Thankyou for what you do for her!

What a Fantastic Nursery Little Owls is. The care, the enrichment, the friendliness of all the staff makes this nursery a happy place for children and parents.
I first viewed this nursery when my twins were super tiny, they've been attending for just over a year and now they're 2 they have so much
confidence walking through the gates to begin their fun day.
It's great to see pictures of the twins that nursery uploads and the artwork the children get sent home with. You can also see the effort all staff put into their learning day.
I'd highly recommend Little Owls to anyone looking for a nursery as the staff offer so much support and flexibility

all great my child with so much affection, she is always so happy to go. I highly recommend Little Owls nursery, as a parent you're always a little apprehensive when sending your child to somewhere new, but I knew from the get go that Little Owls was the best choice for my daughter.

Can not recommend this nursery enough. My little guy started at 11 months. He was really clingy to me, so was hard to leave him upset. The ladies in the baby room have gone above and beyond to support him settling in. Within a week he was much calmer. Within a month hes having the best time.
He settles
at nap time and eats well.
We get updates and reassurance whenever needed.
Hes engaging and exploring which is great to see.
So pleased we picked little owls.

As a mother, I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this nursery. From the very first visit, I felt completely at ease leaving my child in their care - and that peace of mind is priceless.
The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's development. They take
the time to understand every child's personality, interests, and needs, which makes such a difference. My little one comes home every day happy and excited to go back again.
The environment is clean, safe, and thoughtfully set up to encourage learning through play. I've seen such amazing progress in my child's communication skills, social development, and independence since starting here. The nursery provides a perfect balance of structure, creativity, and nurturing care.Communication with parents is bread . I'm regularly updated with photos, progress reports, which makes me feel involved and reassured throughout the day
Thank you to everyone at little owls for al that you do for my child

My little one loves coming to nursery, he's excited to come . He's been coming since 9 months old and although he only comes twice a week. I feel it's made a big impact on his development like his speech and general learning. The staff have all been brilliant with him and bring him out of his shell.
As a parent it's so reassuring that he's happy there and I know he's in good hands! Thanks so much to the staff at little owls.

Both my children have attended this nursery since they were 9 months old. My daughter is now at school and we use the after school club and holiday club that the nursery provide and my son attends the nursery full time.
I have never had any issues or concerns with the nursery - the staff are all wonderful
and caring and go above and beyond - something I have experienced on more than one occasion, they really do care about all the children and their families. The bond my children have with the staff shows how happy they are to be at Little Owls.
Both children enjoy their time at the nursery, there are lots of extra activities that take place such as yoga and multi-sports programme - as well as the on site chickens which we have watched hatch from eggs a couple of years ago.
A clear focus on fun, there is also a strong curriculum to help the children prepare for school once in pre-school.
I have recommended the nursery to friend as it honestly is the best around. I can't recommend it enough.

My son has been attending Little Owls since he was about 9months old and is now 3.
He absolutely loves the nursey and all of the staff and knows all staff by name.
There is never a day that he doesn't want to attend and most days he doesn't want to leave.
His vocabulary is amazing and his understanding
and rationale is growing everyday.
He looks forward to the range of activities, his homework pack and the really enjoys the dinners.
The team has really nurtured and cared for him and it evident, in his relationships at nursery and at home.
I couldn't be happier with his development and progess.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.885) out of 10 for Little Owls Day Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 43 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 43 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.885 for Little Owls Day Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (460 Excellents x 5) + (51 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 515 Ratings = 4.885
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Little Owls Day Nursery is based on 43 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 83 number of registered child places is 16.6, which has been reached with 43 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
