Paper Moon Day Nursery - Sutton-in-Ashfield

I've been extremely pleased with all aspects of care which my son has received since starting at Paper Moon 5 months ago. I find all the staff friendly and professional and my son has settled in really well. I would have no hesitation in recommending Paper Moon nursery to other parents/carers.

I have had 2 children at this nursery between 2012 to the present and I can not recommend the nursery enough. I trust the staff and always feel comfortable with my children in their care. Both of my boys have enjoyed their time at this nursery and it has stood them in good stead for starting school.

Both children love it. They are timid but the staff always help them settle in and enjoy their day.

A genuinely superb nursery filled with amazing staff who truly care for the welfare and education of the children. I feel very privileged to have sent my 2 children to this nursery and would recommend to anyone. An amazing group of people who do an amazing job.

Very nice clean nursery with friendly helpful staff. My children love to go and have so much fun. The diet is very mixed and has a lot of variation. My only criticism is that they are too quick to report an illness sometimes which later turns out not to be.

Fantastic nursery who have all been brilliant helping my little boy to settle in. The manager is lovely and always approachable. Always serve a variety of food which my little one always enjoys.

The Ofsted report “outstanding” speaks for itself. I’m really comfortable with my daughter being here after moving her from another nursery, staff are amazing, so reassuring and experienced. Nothing is too much trouble, staff make us feel so welcome! My daughter's speech is absolutely amazing and her social skills are developing nicely. I’m really grateful to the staff who look after my daughter.

Brilliant place. My son is autistic and really struggled around other children and was unable to vocally communicate. The staff worked so well with him and helped him settle around the other children and his speech is coming on amazingly. He has also always been a fussy eater, but eats or at least tries absolutely everything on their humungous menu. He is so happy to be there and is clearly very well looked after.

In terms of contact, no query is too daft. I often email with questions, and I struggle with communication also due to autism and the replies are always friendly and helpful as much as can be.

Absolutely 100% would recommend.

The setting is brilliant, being purpose built with fantastic outside play spaces as well as excellent indoor play and learning facilities. I have been using the nursery now for nine years for all of my four children and it just keeps getting better. I cannot recommend it highly enough, I would not send my little ones anywhere else.

I am very pleased with every aspect of Paper Moon, I was very apprehensive about putting my daughter into daycare. I can easily say it was the best decision. The staff are amazing and my daughter loves her time here. I will never use a different nursery and will always recommend Paper Moon to anyone wanting to put their child into daycare. Thanks.

My boy is always happy to go to the nursery and I feel reassured about this as he is comfortable and safe.

This is superb nursery, we really saw our little boy flourish during his attendance. It was a sad day when he left to start full time school.

I personally cannot fault one bit of their care and personally thank everyone, for their personal support to me.

My son has loved attending Paper Moon Nursery and I feel that his needs have always been met. The staff have been very helpful and have followed through with any requests that I’ve had, also he had extra support with his toilet training - which again all staff were very happy to help with. Although still shy sometimes I also believe nursery has helped him come out of his shell and his confidence has increased which is fantastic to see. He has also loved doing the extra activities like the mini kicks which I think is great that they have outside groups that come in and do extra with the children. Great nursery overall with a nice environment, he’s my second child to attend this nursery and I’m also using them for my third child.

Very impressed with the continued care my child receives. Staff are very approachable and caring. My daughter is always happy when she is there. I am fully updated by staff every day and feel the activities offered are very varied. I particularly enjoy the photos of my daughter that are uploaded onto 'tapestry' - so nice to see what she is up to and how happy she is. I would definitely recommend this 'outstanding' nursery to family and friends.

My son has now been at Papermoon for a year, and we love it! He has settled well and is always happy to go to see his friends and carers. I have been impressed with the care and attention from all staff, and appreciate the warm, family atmosphere in the nursery. The facilities are excellent and always clean too! Congratulations on your Outstanding OFSTED Report - I totally agree!

Papermoon is a diverse nursery that pays attention to detail with their care for children and their needs. They have lovely kind staff that create a warm friendly atmosphere for kids and the facilities complement all as its accommodative for all kids.

The staff at this nursery have continued to provide outstanding care for my son and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They regularly monitor his behaviour and development to which resulted in him moving up into the toddler room which has since provided appropriate stimulation. The staff are always smiling, friendly and attentive - answering any questions that I have. When dropped off in the morning, the staff are great at reassuring my son if he is feeling a little anxious and leave us as his parents at ease knowing he is in capable hands. The facilities and meals provided are fantastic and I intend to keep my son at this nursery up until he is ready for school.

My son loves attending nursery and I love that he is happy there. So thank you Papermoon you are all stars.
