Paper Moon Day Nursery - Gamston

Our son has started nursery last April just before he turned 2 in June. He gets so excited every time ‘nursery day’ comes. He can’t wait to see his friends, the lovely staff and he just wants to play. He is happy when we pick him up which obviously makes us happy too. He sometimes pretends he is on the phone to the manager at bedtime just to ask if the nursery is open yet. He has grown in confidence so much and his vocabulary is amazing. Happy child, happy parent! Thank you.

We could not wish for such a lovely greeting upon arrival each morning from all the team and management. Our little one is always happy to attend each day and comes out so happy and excited. We are always updated regarding activities, diet etc. A happy child makes a happy parent. Thank you to all the amazing team.

Our twins absolutely love their nursery days at Paper Moon Day Nursery. They are so well looked after and the staff seem to have a real bond with the children. They are a really welcoming and lovely team at Paper Moon, Gamston, led by the very friendly manager. Would 100% recommend.

Due to Covid, we didn't get a chance to view many nurseries when making our choice, but we felt a connection with Paper Moon Day Nursery due to the size and familiarity of the place and the team. The staff here are incredibly warm and the fact that many of them have been there for many years assured us that it was a place that looked after staff and the children.

We have been very happy to see our daughter's development since she started at the nursery. She has developed in every respect and the team have been great at supporting her to improve in certain areas whilst also focusing on her strengths. This is in no small part down to the team and their genuine desire to get to know each child at an individual level.

The main thing for us is the fact that our daughter can't wait to get into the nursery and jumps into the team's arms in the morning. We know she is well looked after, happy and has a good time every day.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery, from the moment I drop her off to when I come and collect her she always has a smile on her face. All the staff are so caring and friendly, I can see why she loves it so much. She has come on leaps and bounds since her first visit and I have all the team to thank for it.

All of the staff are very friendly, helpful and patient. They will update you from time to time. I cannot thank them enough for being so patient and understanding. My 15-month-old daughter was born during the pandemic, it was not easy for her to be with other people but the staff and manager did an amazing job!

This isn’t a nursery! They are a family. They have done so much for my family and gone above and beyond. When my daughter had a stye in her eye and I couldn’t get out of work they put a cold compress on her eye every hour for ten minutes and sat with her! They didn’t have to do this or even have the time. When my son was born and had to stay in hospital they took her last minute for extra days. T

They make custom and personalised cards every birthday! They potty trained her within 5 days! The staff are my personal therapists and never make you feel rushed and drop off collection times. I will be so sad when my children leave even to the point I would have another child so can stay for another 4 years!

I can’t recommend Paper Moon Day Nursery enough! My little boy loves going - he no longer bothers saying bye and just wanders in. He has developed so much in the time he has been there - the staff are wonderful and keep me up to date with everything that is going on. They will go above and beyond to help me if I have an issue - he has been having issues with food and they have no problems writing down everything he eats and how it’s made!

I cannot recommend them enough!

My son has been going to Paper Moon Day Nursery - Gamston since he was thirteen months and he has been very happy, as have we. The staff are all brilliant from babies to preschool. He talks fondly about all the teachers and his friends and what he does at school. We've had a few bumps in the road but nothing the staff have not resolved very quickly. The manager is excellent and always ensures we are happy and satisfied with any bumps.

I have had two children attend Paper Moon Day Nursery - Gamston. One has now left and the other is 3 in Pre School. I cannot rate the nursery highly enough. The kids love it and the staff, which to me is the most important thing. The manager sets a real tone from the top which clearly filters throughout the nursery: building strong personable relationships with the children. I have absolute peace of mind when the children are there which allows me to concentrate on what is causing me to not be able to be with them. Wonderful place.

My daughter loves every minute of her time here. She goes in happy and comes out happy. There are lots of opportunities for the children to play and explore indoors and out. The outdoor space is fabulous and my daughter comes home filthy every day - just how it should be. Above all, I feel confident when I leave her there that she is safe and happy and that I can go to work and not worry about her. The manager is super efficient and helpful. Great staff all around.

This is an amazing nursery, the staff are lovely and they have all the facilities your child would need. They have there own little garden where they have planted things with the kids. I would recommend this nursery to anyone, all of my children have been here and I wouldn’t take them anywhere else.

An amazing nursery that my now five year old daughter used to attend and my two year old son still does. Very caring, attentive staff to both children and parents. My son adores it and runs in the door saying hello to everyone. Great feedback at the end of the day giving me a full picture of my son's day, reassuring me that he is happy, healthy and thriving at Paper Moon Day Nursery - Gamston. Thank you to all the staff.

Our three year old and one year old have attended the nursery from eight months. Both children love nursery days and get so excited when we pull up to drop them off and they are always full of it when we pick them up. The staff are fantastic, really personable and down to earth, its very apparent from the regular reports that we get that they know our children very well, including their likes and dislikes and managing their varying mood swings! They make the time to give the children one to one attention to encourage and grow their individual interests.We have been particularly impressed with how the staff helped our eldest master potty training as well as adapting their meal plans to allow for my daughters allergies.

My daughter has been going since she was nine months old, she loves it and even on her days off she asks to go. She has progressed massively with her development and has made lots of friends. She’s very attached to the staff and has close bonds with them. The facilities are great and she always has lots of fun there! Brilliant nursery.

I couldn’t ask for anything more from a nursery! All the staff are so lovely and really take the time to get to know all the children. With me being a student and having a constant changing timetable, the manager has been so accommodating. I would highly recommend this nursery!

We have two boys in the nursery and they both absolutely love it. The staff are fantastic and could not do anymore to keep our boys happy, safe and entertained. We couldn’t wish for a better nursery and would highly recommend.

Excellent nursery. Staff are amazing, friendly and very supportive. They are excellent at making a nervous and fussy child feel comfortable and happy to be left by parents. They always meet the child's needs even if its putting extra work on them. They even went the extra mile when my child wouldn't eat the dinners, they would make something they knew he would eat. They always keep you informed on what your child has been doing that day.

Our son started here after the first lockdown in September. Having struggled to settle in a different nursery we chose to go to Paper Moon Day Nursery - Gamston following a recommendation. We are so pleased we moved him here! He settled very quickly and now absolutely loves going to nursery. He talks about his nursery friends and the staff that look after him all the time and is disappointed when it’s not a nursery day! The staff are brilliant and really get to know the children well. They show outstanding care towards the children and keep you updated with any news. He is always so happy when we drop him off and skips into nursery without a second thought. The nursery is managed really well and they have continued to look after the children amazingly well throughout the pandemic. We would not hesitate to recommend Paper Moon Day Nursery - Gamston to anyone as we feel confident that our son is well looked after.
