The nursery is the only childcare setting in Southwell offering forest school sessions with Level 3 Accredited Forest School Leaders

My girls have attended Children's House Nursery from 10 months all the way up to 4 years old and starting school. They loved being part of the preschool and really enjoyed the activities such as ministers. We have been happy with the level of care and the manager and team have always been very accommodating
and flexible when we've needed to make changes. We will all miss Children's House!

All 3 of my children went to Children's House. All 3 loved it and were always happy to be dropped off in the morning. My youngest has recently left to start school and she will miss the numerous staff she got to know over the years. We have lots of happy memories of Children's House. Thank you to all

We are so happy with the quality of care provided at Children's House. The staff have made it extremely easy for my child to transition into full time nursery. They are extremely kind and enthusiastic. The quality of the facilities are good, as well as the homemade food. I would recommend other prospective

When we relocated to the area back in 2017, finding a nursery where our son would feel comfortable, an environment that nurtured him and helped challenge him was of the utmost importance to us. We found just that in Children’s House.


Our son settled in very quickly making strong relationships

with the wonderful care staff at Children’s House and his peers. The great thing about Children’s House, along with the staff, is that they nurture each child individually to help develop their skills, so it's a very personal hands-on approach which worked beautifully for our son.


We feel blessed that we found Children’s House and the team, and it's a testament to how much our little one loves Children’s House that he is just so excited to go back to visit during school holidays with the Holiday Club.

Excellent nursery and preschool, home from home environment and friendly, approachable staff. Our children loved it here and still say they miss it, have only stopped going as I'm now on maternity leave and need to save the budget! They always ate well and slept well after being there, I hardly ever
had issues dropping off because they loved everyone there and on the odd occasion they were more clingy, the staff are nurturing and will give them cuddles to settle them. Only ever got called to pick up early if they were clearly unwell with an unresolved temperature or sickness bug. We'll definitely be going back in the future.

My son adores his key worker at the Children’s House Nursery. The staff are genuine, friendly and caring people that treat each child as an individual. I feel lucky to have found this nursery and how they could accommodate us so quickly. Keep up the great work.

I am so pleased that I chose Children’s House for our childcare needs. My daughters are experiencing play and learning in a stimulating and loving environment. They love their yummy lunches and tea and all that Children’s House has to offer, from French lessons to Pyjama Drama! The staff couldn’t be
friendlier and they have been vital in easing the transition for my toddler from in-home care to full-time day care. Communication is seamless and regular which is very much appreciated as a full time working mum!

The team at Children’s House are just lovely. The nursery is well run, they do lovely activities which my daughter has lots of fun with. The staff are knowledgeable, kind and you can clearly see how genuinely they care for the children. My little one started at 2YO, and really loves it - it’s great
to know I’m leaving her somewhere where the staff will give you honest feedback and be adaptive to her. Thanks so much to all of you :)

Such a lovely nursery, really nice homely environment which feels safe and secure. The staff are all so lovely and I feel they know my little boy so well and take notice of everything he is doing which is impressive as there are lots of other children to watch! Within minutes of arriving, I knew that I had found the perfect nursery that felt warm and welcoming. My son has been going to the preschool now for 7 months and is always very keen and excited to go in the morning. The environment and all of the staff are excellent and offer extremely high-quality
care for the children. The range of activities and learning opportunities provided both inside and outside in the garden, and playground are fantastic and my son always has lovely memories of his days to share with us. He has developed in so many ways and is far more independent and confident from the time at nursery. I would highly recommend Children’s House to families looking for high quality, caring childcare.

Our twin boys have been attending Children’s House for the past 18 months and from day one I have truly felt as though they were in safe, caring and nurturing hands. They have always seen our boys as the individuals they are which has been very reassuring. Both staff and management have always been
helpful and supportive to any queries or requests for additional support.
For any parent choosing a nursery, I think your gut instinct will tell you a lot and for me as soon as we stepped in the door of the Tinies unit I felt confident that this was the right place for our little ones. It has been reassuring over time to have that instinct validated through the regular early years development checks and parents evenings but most importantly by looking at the happy faces of my boys as we pull up in front of the nursery for morning drop-offs. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, fun and engaging setting for their little one.

Sending my daughter to Children's House is the best decision I could have made. She adores all of the carers as they make her feel special and valued every day. The only issues I have ever had is getting her to leave again when I come to pick her up! I am continuously surprised by the progress my
daughter is making due to the guidance she receives at Children's House which includes: education and independence to her ability to share and behave beautifully at the dinner table! I would highly recommend Children's House for anyone who is looking for a caring, safe, fun and consistent environment for their children.

My child has been attending Children’s House for the last 2 years. Throughout her time there, we have found the nursery to be of a very high standard. My child is happy and has good bonding with the nursery staff. I have found them to be very accommodating of short notice requests regarding changing/swapping
hours, meal requests etc. The staff are very good at engaging with the children as soon as you walk in and well informed about my child’s likes and dislikes as well as how to calm them when upset. There is a wide variety of activities including French, Pyjama drama, nursing home visits and swimming lessons as well as outdoor excursions. I would definitely recommend Children’s House to other parents.

This nursery is by far the best in the area! My daughter has been attending the nursery for 3 years and the staff have been brilliant with her. They have helped her grow and develop so much and helped the transition to school go smoothly. She still attends the breakfast and after school club and loves
it!
All the staff are amazing, they are energetic and caring and she had a good relationship with all of them.
I would certainly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Our 2 year old daughter started in March and is settling in really well, to say she only does one morning a week. She was that excited to see her friends this morning and get involved in circle time, that she wasn't bothered about saying goodbye when I left. This made me feel happy and reassured that
she enjoys going to nursery. All of the staff are very friendly and take on board everything I say about my daughter. I would definitely recommend Children's House Nursery.

My son went to summer camp and throughout Halloween half term and I can't fault it at all. The staff are so friendly. The food which the children have is really good. The staff do so much with the children, they have days out and do lots of learning things as well. My son was always coming home saying
how much he loves it there. My son has tried other nurseries but he never really settled in until he came here. The staff make such a effect with every child. My son will keep coming here.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS NURSEY TO ANYONE - YOUR CHILD WILL HAVE SO MUCH FUN.

I am really delighted we chose Children's House for our little girl. She has a wonderful time at nursery painting, reading, cooking, doing tiny talk or simply pottering with her friends. If not that, she is outside with her friends exploring the garden or visiting the library. The staff at all levels
really go out their way to get to know every child. There are no stressful regimes, and always someone to go to with questions or concerns. It is obvious that every child is treated as an individual and encouraged to feel confident and secure. A big plus is the fantastic logbook kept for each child by staff as a record of their time at nursery. This is a wonderful collage of photos, pictures and anecdotes that we get to keep, and which has really given us a glimpse of what our little girl gets up to every day, and how she is learning. What we see is a happy, confident little person who always comes home with new words, new songs and lots of enthusiasm for the next day.
