My youngest child has just finished at the nursery to go to school having started at 10 months. His sister was also at the nursery for a similar period of time, leaving 3 years ago.
They both loved their time at the nursery. My son has been particularly fond of the Wise Owls and constantly references
the Wise Owls at home as his guide to life. He's made some really close friends there, which we will definitely stay in touch with and he had such a strong bond with his key worker, who is coming to his 5th birthday party. The nursery cooking also sets the bar very high and I'm having to ask for the macaroni cheese recipe as no one else's is good enough.
I'm really grateful for the nursery giving my children such a good start in life and cannot recommend it highly enough!

Both my children went to Hardingstone Nursery from 4 months old to school age and they both have fond memories of their time at the nursery. All the staff members from Ladybirds to Wiseowls rooms have been amazing with them and I know that I could not have provided them with as many smiles, encouragement,
guidance, patience, stimulation, fun and hugs (and the nappy changes!) that they did every day with the same enthusiasm! They have always been happy in nursery and as a parent, I definitely feel less guilty about leaving them because I have 2 very bright, confident and socialised children. A lot of credit goes to Hardingstone nursery and its staff for giving them the skills to move on to school without any problems. The nursery has maintained its high standards of care and learning environment throughout 5 years and I can honestly say I don't think I could have done better if I had stayed at home to look after them myself. You have all been incredible! Thank you so much!

The staff at Hardingstone nursery have been outstanding since my son started in March 2016. From the age of 9 months to him leaving in August 2019 at the age of 4, they have made his nursery life amazing and from a parents perspective that's priceless. The thought of leaving your child with a stranger
on that first day is terrifying, but the staff in little ladybirds were fantastic and put my mind at rest very quickly. Every class our son has been in has made him learn something new, or try something different, the staff are very nurturing. He always had a favourite member of staff in each class and would talk about them all the time, which showed us how much he loved going. I am thankful that we chose the nursery for our son and am grateful to the excellent staff that work there.

My son started the nursery not long after he turned 2. The start wasn’t easy for him, but his key worker was really great and patient with him and tried to distract him every time he was upset in the morning and after few weeks he got better, eventually loving the nursery, to the point he didn’t want
to leave to go home!
He has formed a great relationship with the staff and other children and became confident and independent. I was also kept up to date with what my son is doing at nursery with regular photos and videos.
I have looked at some other nurseries when looking for a place for my son but when visited Hardingstone I knew straight away that is the place for him because of the friendliness and professionalism and great environment inside and outside. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone looking for a place for their child. The care and the ladies are fantastic together with amazing activities and fun.

I would highly recommend Hardingstone nursery. My child has been there since she was a baby and all the facilities are geared to their growth and learning. The staff are truly amazing as well as the food choices and educational activities for your children. I cannot praise this nursery enough. Thanks.

We moved to Hardingstone Nursery after being treated poorly at a different nursery. We very quickly felt welcome and part of the ‘family’. We are proud of the decision that we moved to Hardingstone nursery, the staff are amazing and really try to get to know each individual and really bring them up
finding themselves.


We have 2 girls who loved it there and are were sad to leave. One of my girls is shy but we really noticed a difference with her. The other is cheeky and outgoing and enjoyed her time teasing her key worker.


Thank you ever so much, everyone, at Hardingstone Nursery who had a role in bringing my girls up and allowing them to be who they are.

My daughter has attended this nursery for the last 21 months. She absolutely loves going to nursery and is always doing such varied activities while she's there.
The ladies that have looked after her in every room have been fantastic and she often talks about them at home. She always has a key worker
who keeps in touch and updates me with everything she's doing. The nursery has helped every step of the way with potty training.

The nursery online journal is fantastic and it's great seeing photos of what she's been up to. We are encouraged to add photos too which are discussed with the children to get conversations started.

We get to see how she's performing against the early years performance tables, and discuss any problems should they arise. Lines of communication are always open. It's a very safe environment.

My daughter is a vegetarian and the meals she's provided with are great.

I couldn't be happier with Hardingstone nursery and neither could my daughter!

Our son has attended Hardingstone Day Nursery since he turned one. He took a while to settle which the staff reassured us is normal. We were offered additional settling in sessions which were very beneficial not only to our son but reassuring to me leaving him for the first time.


All of the staff

at Hardingstone are friendly and kind. The staff in Little Ladybirds have worked hard to ensure our son is happy and well cared for at nursery. He has formed an excellent relationship with them, especially his key worker. We are kept up to date with what our son is doing at nursery with regular photos and videos. It is a pleasure to collect him now, seeing him happy and settled and hearing about what he has been doing whilst at nursery.


We looked at eight other nurseries before choosing this one. Hardingstone stood out because of the friendly approach, family atmosphere and facilities for the children, particularly the fantastic outside space. We would highly recommend this nursery to others.

There are so many aspects that make Hardingstone Day Nursery a great place and a safe haven for our children. We love the structure of the programs and how every activity has a focus and a goal. We have seen our children thrive as their language, thinking, social interactions, creativity, confidence,
eating and motor skills have developed exponentially. Most of all, our children love their teachers and have such great relationships with them. Leaving your child to go to work every day is a challenging process for any parent, but when you see your child smile and hug their teacher, you get a sense of peace and calm that makes that process a little easier. We also love the updates (pictures and video clips!) we get on the Tapestry website and we find ourselves logging in during the day to see what our children are getting up to!
To sum it all up, we can say that we have and are still enjoying our exciting journey here at the nursery and we would definitely recommend the nursery to others.

My Son started at this nursery when he was 14 months old and it was something I found extremely difficult, it was very short notice and leaving him with complete strangers was terrifying to me. I will never be able to thank the staff enough, especially the ladies of the little Ladybirds who sent me
emails with photos every day he was there to let me know how he was settling in. He has thrived during his time here so far and he absolutely loves it. I am having another baby shortly and when it is time for him to go to nursery there isn't another place I would consider sending him.

Our son joined Hardingstone Nursery when he was 1 and recently left to start school.
They have given him the best start possible for primary school, he was prepared socially, emotionally & academically.
Our son loved every room that he moved to as he progressed through the nursery, at each stage
were a lovely group of staff who formed great relationships with him and who he talked fondly of at home.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hardingstone Nursery as a safe, caring & friendly setting for your child.

I am pleased with the service I have received from the staff and management at the nursery from since October 2013. This has been a wonderful place for our son to attend, from 11 months to 4 years. We have no hesitation in recommending the nursery.


We especially like the 4 rooms for 4 age groups, meaning there is only a small difference in age in each group. The younger children are upstairs in 'homely' rooms

with good sleep-room arrangements, offering bespoke care for the young children's needs. The older children's rooms are downstairs, with direct access to the gardens. We especially loved the garden spaces at the nursery, being large varied spaces, the oldest group of children having their own area with climbing equipment, and the main garden having considered, fun elements such as a racing track, a mud kitchen and a vegetable garden.


The staff have been wonderful: friendly, capable, dedicated and responsive. Our son built strong bonds with his key workers, who have really nurtured his learning and his personal development. He always enjoyed his time there, even from 7.30am!

Hardingstone Day Nursery is a lovely setting with a caring, passionate team. The garden area and activities in each of the rooms give the children variety and enjoyment plus the ability to learn through play.


The home cooked meals are varied and there is a wide, balanced suite of menus.


Children

are encouraged to grow and develop and the nursery strikes a healthy balance between independence and nurturing.


We cannot fault the care that the nursery has give our two children and would thoroughly recommend it. It is professionally run, strives for continuous improvement and provides a fantastic start for children. My eldest has just started school and the routine, discipline and learning that she gained at Hardingstone has given her confidence in going to school, making the transition really easy for us all.


I thank all of the team for their dedication and hard work.

Fantastic nursery with amazing facilities and staff. I couldn't have asked for better care of my child. We were always fully aware of our child's development through daily communication and regular parents evenings. My child loved every minute, especially the garden, which is amazing, and the weekly

My son has attended Hardingstone Day Nursery since he was 7 months old and is now leaving to attend school. He has loved it there and has made great friends, in both the children and the staff. He is supported in everything he does. I was particularly impressed with the assistance the nursery staff
provided with his speech, both in noticing that there was an issue, and then working with us to help with it.
When we were aware of the school he would attend, nursery contacted the new school teacher and arranged a full handover to include the support he had with his speech. In addition, the separate rooms for the differing age groups is brilliant and it was great to see my son progress through the rooms. There are always activities which parents are invited to. I would highly recommend Hardingstone Day Nursery to any parent.

My child has enjoyed every day she has been to nursery, made friends and truly had a wonderful time at the nursery. Each day looking forward to what activity they will be doing different from the day before and generally loving every minute. Teaching manners, creativity, fun, loving, preparing my child
for the next stage in their life. The staff are so friendly and knowing each child by name and their parents by name is incredible, putting you at ease and knowing you have confidence that your child will be well looked after.

Both my daughters are at Hardingstone Day Nursery and are very happy there. I cannot recommend it highly enough. My children love going there and the staff are great, caring and friendly and encourage development of skills for the children.
Communications with parents are great and parents are kept
up to date on activities and general info. The nursery listens to feedback and suggestions and takes them on board.
The nursery is a professionally run organisation but with a personal, friendly touch.
