Little Legs Nursery Colsterworth Reviews (22)
Over all time Little Legs Nursery Colsterworth has 22 reviews.
Absolutely brilliant little nursery. Amazing staff and setting. Looked after my eldest son and prepared him for school and also currently care for my youngest. Wouldn't send them anywhere else. My youngest has managed to overcome his separation anxiety with the help of this nursery and the staff.
My son has always loved going.
I also have found them very reasonable price wise and wouldn’t use any other nursery.
I would very much recommend them for your child.
We value all families individually and like to accommodate where we can!
As a first-time mum, I was very nervous about "letting my baby go" and I had many many questions (which I am sure would have been irritating). However, the nursery could not have been any more helpful and reassuring. My Daughter absolutely loves it here, it's a really homely feel and there's a huge sense of community spirit which I love. They're great at keeping me updated with her progress and I feel confident she will be fine when she goes to school because of her time here. Recently I was in hospital and the nursery have been so supportive in helping us get back into routine and accommodating with schedule changes. Excellent nursery!
Little Legs have cared for my son from when he was nine months old. He learns excellent values here and is encouraged at his own pace. He can only speak highly of all care givers (and we know how honest children can be!) The home cooked meals are just a tiny part of why I love Little Legs. They have a great range of resources, enjoy lots of outdoor exploring in all weathers and teach a lot of great life lessons and prepping him for school from an early age, from a "schoolie sit" to independent learning, writing his name even through to assisting with potty training and self care.
Fantastic nursery. My little boy now goes as well as my little girl. My boy has been slower to get settled but the staff have really got to know him to settle him. My little girl has demonstrated some excellent skills learnt at nursery getting ready for school in the future. Love the homemade meals provided on site. Lots of recent improvements being made including a revamped garden. Plus trips to the trees and park just opposite the nursery. Super friendly team. They have managed the covid restrictions excellently to ensure the children are kept as safe as possible. Safe, friendly environment for your little ones to make plenty of friends. Competitive pricing for childcare.
I couldn't function without Little Legs. Not because I need childcare (there's an abundance of childcare out there) but because I know I can leave my children there without any concerns whatsoever. I love the homely environment, the home cooked food, how, quite often, my son will come home and surprised me with something clever he's learnt. With a lack of family around us I sometimes need last minute childcare and 99% of the time they are able to help. The early years of a child's life are so important and I'm so glad I chose Little Legs to play such an important role in it. I will be sad when my children are too old to benefit from their care.
Brilliant friendly nursery, always there to help and offer advice, my son loves attending and his learning has come on in leaps and bounds, highly recommended nursery!
She loves going to nursery and always comes home enthused at the days' activities.
The staff are fantastic, take time to go through her day, the good and bad and give balanced feedback.
Activities are well thought out and a clear learning plan is followed to prepare her for next stage.
It is our little ones last year there, I wish we had found it sooner!
Little Legs is such a lovely, friendly and welcoming environment for my daughter to grow up in! I was apprehensive (as all parents are) about leaving my daughter in the care of people I don't know, but I was put at ease by the kind nature of staff.
My daughter has been going for two months now and I love it. The staff are always willing to talk about her day no matter how busy they are. It was so important to me to find care-givers willing to give my daughter time and attention, and they do just that. I highly recommend this nursery.
My daughter has attended since 8 months old and is now starting school. I don't believe she would be as clever for her age without the care and education Little Legs have provided for her.
They always accommodate any extra care needed, all are very friendly yet professional.
An excellent job was done over the years and we look forward to her seeing you at the Den and Holiday Club.
They have done everything in their power to find plans that suit us and our child's needs. Would highly recommend, thank you to the staff at Little Legs!
My sons have attended Little Legs for a few years now. We did plenty of research before selecting Little Legs and they came out top! We had that feeling of confidence after visiting and meeting the staff that every parent wants. The staff are fantastic and make the most of all of their facilities. My sons enjoy going and are learning loads. Everyone connected with the nursery is willing to go the extra mile and even the parents are happy to see each other.
A fantastic nursery! Welcoming, hard-working staff and a homely environment. A home from home that my son always looks forward to going to. He loves the animals and is a big fan of the food (never leaving a morsel!).
He is given home cooked meals in a relaxed and comfortable nursery. There are always enough staff to give him plenty of care and attention.
An excellent nursery in which children are cared for to an exceptional standard. My children are well cared for and loved whilst in their care. The nursery isn't afraid to run trips and take the children for walks around the village. The out of school club is excellent and picks up and drops off at the local school which is a must for parents who work.
The staff also offer babysitting which is great if you don't have family around to help and because the children know the staff so well it eases the guilt on the odd occasion you go out.
An excellent home from home nursery, my little boy loves it there and they are so accommodating. Staff are great so friendly and reassuring for both myself and my son, he's settled in so well and his social skills have doubled. Well done guys you're doing a fantastic job.
The staff are very fair, professional and friendly. The owner puts her whole heart into the nursery. I was very lucky to get plenty of feedback on my son's behaviour and very helpful advice on any issues we have been facing. I am happy to recommend the nursery to all parents in the area.
I moved my little girl to Little Legs after moving to the village when she was two. During her time there she flourished in all aspects and the warm, welcoming environment meant she was always happy to be dropped off in the mornings (which makes for happy parents)! Her recent transition to primary school in September was a smooth one thanks largely to the efforts of the manager and her team.
We have used Little Legs for all my 3 children at some point over the last 4 years and will continue to do so. The team have always catered for our needs with no hassle. The team are all very friendly and on hand for cuddles when the little ones need them. In the nursery there are lots of activities to keep them busy indoor and out. I love all the creative artwork that comes home too.
I would recommend Little Legs to anyone that asked. The team of girls are all really nice and good with the children. I can't think of any downfalls of this nursery every aspect is excellent!
