Paper Moon Day Nursery - Doddington Park

My daughter loves it here and always asks me when she is next going. Staff are really friendly and keep up with her non-stop personality. Couldn't recommend more.

Like any first-time parents, my wife and I were very anxious at the thought of sending our daughter to nursery. After looking around a few nurseries we instantly knew that Paper Moon was the right fit. There is a great balance between fun, and play, allowing the children to express themselves in their own way while maintaining the right amount of structure and routine. All of the staff were extremely supportive and made it as easy as possible to help my daughter initially settle in. My daughter is in nursery full time and absolutely loves it, so much so that even on weekends when we are getting ready she asks to go. All of the staff are friendly, caring, approachable and genuinely care about the children.

10/10 nursery and highly recommend! I cannot thank all the staff enough for taking care of my child the way they do. They’re all ace!

The staff have been nothing but amazing. Especially when it was time to enrol my youngest daughter they allowed her to take every visit at her own pace and always responded to her needs.

The staff are so hands-on and really do care, it's beautiful to see.

And the staff always go above and beyond to make her feel welcome! And she has really settled in! I just want to thank the ladies for the ongoing support for us and the kids!

The most lovely and caring staff you could ask for. My daughter feels so comfortable to be herself at nursery and evidently gets excited to see her favourite staff in the morning. It’s clear how much they all care for my daughter and know her well. I fully trust them with the most precious thing in the world to me. They celebrate her achievements and milestones with such genuine joy it’s so lovely to see. Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who wants to feel happy, content and safe with where they send their child and to also see them learn and thrive in the environment.

The team, from the general manager through to the cleaners, are absolutely fantastic. My son has come on so much with the help of the team and he loves his time at nursery. The food is always varied and home-cooked. We are always kept up to date with food/toilet/bumps/activities throughout the day and there is always a nice summary of his day when I collect him. As there isn't availability for my son to receive 30 hours of free childcare at the moment, we could move him and make the most of this but we are keeping him here and waiting for extra hours to be available, because of how much we rate the nursery.

Papermoon Nursery and its Staff are amazing! I can not thank them enough for the many of years I have been with them with both my children and how much each and every one of them have helped my children develop and thrive over the years. The nursery is homely, welcoming and full of life, it is in a perfect location for families to be able to get to. The staff at Papermoon are just outstanding, they are very welcoming, friendly, approachable and very helpful, I have always worried about my children and who they are looked after as we are a very close family but the staff at Papermoon make it easier for me to relax and enjoy days knowing that my child/children are in the best of hands. I would like to say thank you to all the staff at Papermoon Nursery for all their support over the years it really means a lot, and the memories, fun learning and happiness that they have made, supported and given my child/ children to blossom into the little individual/s they have become.

It was extremely daunting looking for a nursery as a first-time parent, but after looking at various, the staff, facilities and impression we got from the children at Paper Moon Doddington Park were amazing and stood out amongst the rest. Our son settled in instantly to the baby room since joining in April 2023 and the staff have been so supportive of his development and achievements. He always has so much fun, the staff are so friendly and he has a great bond with them all, updates are given throughout the day via the Famly app including meals, nappy changes, pictures of what they’ve been up to etc. They genuinely care for each of the children and I can feel at ease at work knowing he is having an amazing time and in safe hands. Meals are always healthy and balanced and there is usually at least outside time once a day which was important to me when looking for a place for my son. Management are helpful and friendly and gets involved with the children too.

Excellent manager always looks into any concerns raised. My little girl becomes very upset when she needs to separate from me when she comes to the nursery, but the staff puts a lot of effort into calming her down and makes the process of going to nursery pleasant for her.

The nursery and nursery staff are fantastic so helpful and friendly. Always advising. I just want to say they all do such fantastic work with the children. I’ve seen my daughter develop so much, especially with her words and communication. Thank you. I was so nervous at first putting my daughter into play school but I didn’t need to be. Thank you.

Wonderful staff and very welcoming. Helped my son settle in very quickly and put me at ease with him just starting. Great at keeping me updated and ensuring I'm always aware of how his day was. The staff are very loving and friendly which makes me feel more comfortable with leaving my son for the first time. And now my child loves going to nursery and is happy to go in.

My little girl started nursery in October and I haven’t got one bad thing to say. Always super busy doing different activities staff are lovely communication is great. Can’t recommend this nursery enough.

My son attended this nursery from when he was 9 months old until he was 2 years 9 months and I was absolutely gutted to move him out due to a job change. The staff, management and facilities are absolutely fantastic and I have recommended Paper Moon Day Nursery to all of my friends who have asked about nursery settings. My son always looked forward to his nursery day and seeing "his ladies" and will miss everyone very much! If my circumstances changed again, I wouldn't hesitate to re-enrol both him and my younger child.

This nursery is absolutely amazing. The whole set-up is fantastic. My boy has come on leaps and bounds. All the staff are incredible. I can not fault anything.

The whole team have been extremely supportive during my son's time at the nursery. It was recently difficult for him to move to another room as he isn't great with change. The whole team were so supportive at drop-off time and made such an effort to get to know him and what he likes so he felt happier being dropped off. He soon settled in. His development is excellent, his speech is great and he can sit and eat with cutlery at a young age because of the nursery. They have taught him a lot and he is enjoying every second. I'm so happy knowing he's at such a great nursery each day.

Simply put: this has been the best nursery my daughter attended. The staff really care about the children and there is a fantastic sense of community throughout. I can't praise enough the director and the senior staff. Thanks for looking after my little one with love and dedication. Our daughter will have you in her memories until she will be a grown up!

Our son loves going to nursery, extremely caring staff who are always bright and cheerful. He has been at Paper Moon Day Nursery - Doddington Park since he was 8 months old and we have been so pleased with the communication about his development and love seeing the pictures and stories of what he has been up to on the app. The staff have been great at reassuring us when we had worries about his development.
