Clarence House Grantham

This school is amazing. Great staff. My son loves going.

We have been using this nursery since our first child started in 2013. We now have 4 children, 3 of which attend either this nursery or school. We have noticed and experienced many changes for the better since using this nursery. The facilities for children have become more available, our children's learning has become more apparent and the ways in which parents are included into the nursery environment have improved. We fully intend our youngest child to attend this nursery when they are of age as they are able to adapt the children's hours whenever necessary in order to work around our ever-changing life and work patterns.

Our little girl has attended Clarence House for the last 2.5 years. She has progressed through the baby room and toddlers and just joined preschool. She has always been happy and confident in all the rooms & with all the staff not just her room staff or key worker. Her friendships with other children are encouraged. The staff know her likes and dislikes and it’s lovely to see them so proud of her achievements as much as we are as parents. She loves the mud kitchen, is never bored and learns/experiences new things every week. We are excited for our second child joining the nursery later in the year

As our son attended this nursery and we never had an issue it was never a question that our daughter would go to a different nursery. My sister also works there so I know all children are looked after to a very high standard. Great staff, great nursery, happy children.

Could not recommend Clarence House enough to anyone with children of age. My son has been welcomed in by staff with open arms since the minute we went to look round. I cannot believe how much he has changed and come on in less than two months since he first started. Being just myself and him I hated letting him go to anyone just as much as he hated being separated from me, I was expecting him to cry when I handed him over but he was happy to go and has been every day since. The staff are always happy to see him, always make him smile and constantly engaging with him, that alone I will never be able to give enough thanks for. I am constantly inundated with online observations for me to see what he has been doing throughout the day, the time and effort that goes into everything that is done for him is unreal. The baby room where he is is bright and stimulating and has plenty to aid his current developmental needs and also his future ones. I wouldn’t dream of sending him anywhere else!

My son started at Clarence House when he was 3 years old. He had previously been attending another Nursery in the town and we felt that it was necessary to move him as he was tearful every morning that I dropped him off and had no key worker. I went to look round Clarence House and instantly felt it was welcoming. All the staff wore a uniform making it easy to establish who worked there and who were Parents. Since attending Clarence House my son has come on in leaps and bounds, he is often talking about something they have learnt about, singing songs and bringing back paintings, drawing or other items he had made. Since attending Clarence House, there has never been a morning that he has not wanted to go in and always enjoys his days there. Moving him to this Nursery was the right decision for our son. All the staff are lovely, they will always go out of their way to help if I need to change his hours if needed, they give me a detailed description of his day and what he has eaten.

My son still misses the friendly staff and his friends that he has left. This nursery has made him a confident happy little boy.

A wonderful nursery with friendly and welcoming staff. My son is always happy when I pick him up and often speaks fondly of the staff with whom he has had interactions with that day.

Fantastic outdoor space with the option of forest school is a great bonus as my son would much rather play outside (regardless of weather) than indoors.

The rooms are spacious and well presented and an exceptional garden space. The staff are helpful and friendly and offer the up most support for our child on how to progress his learning further at home as well as nursery. Highly recommended.

Lovely nursery, my child has come to the nursery since a baby and has made lots of good attachments with staff. Amazing garden space for my child to play and he really enjoys doing forest school and telling me the lovely things he gets up to.

My children love going to nursery here. I have used them for over 6 years and think they are very warm and good with handling all situations.

As a mother I'm very happy with the developing of my boy. His key worker is the best and he loves it here, she does 100% for them.

My child has been with Clarence House since January 2014 and will shortly be moving on to reception. Throughout his time there he has been cared for and bought on from toddlers to preschooler. Help and support available to me and my child through all this and his stages, particularly potty training and speech. Good trips, activities, you can clearly see how hard all staff work to ensure the children have a very positive preschool experience.

It was the nursery that noticed that our son needs extra help with his speech and language and they got us the help that we needed. We cannot thank them enough for all their help.

Fantastic nursery and staff, my daughter loves being at nursery and learns so much and has come on leaps and bounds. She is ready to move on to big school now thank you to all the staff for all they have done to get my daughter confident ready for her next chapter in her life, highly recommend
