Stanhope House Day Nursery

My son had such an amazing few years at Stanhope Day Nursery. The staff were always professional, dedicated, attentive, and warm towards our son, who grew very fond of his carers such as one (no longer working at Stanhope) and another lady, who were his favourites. The manager is always prompt and helpful with communication ranging from payments to health issues. The whole team do a fantastic job of not only providing excellent care to the children but documenting so much as they grow - photos are taken regularly along with detailed notes on a child's social and physiological development. When our son finished at Stanhope, we got a record of all the notes they'd made on our son, and a lovely USB with photos they'd taken of him over the years, which we will treasure forever. If we have a second child in the near future, we will definitely be sending them to Stanhope as it was a wonderful experience. The facilities are great - from the building itself to the beautiful garden and playground.

Great nursery with great facilities. The staff take extremely good care of the children and offer an immense amount of support to parents. I have seen my daughter thrive and grow in their care. It was very hard for me to leave her at nursery at first but the staff were so supportive and understanding. She has learnt so many amazing things. It is always a joy to pick her up and ask her about her day and hear all that she has done during the day. Communication from management and staff has always been amazing. They have a great garden, maintain excellent cleanliness and I really appreciate the separate changing facilities for children. They have worked really hard to maintain social distancing and necessary safety measures during Covid-19.

My son is very happy here. Always full of stories to tell me about his day. The nursery is a very friendly and homely environment for children and parents. Staff are well qualified, experienced and always keen to talk to you about your child. Very inclusive of your family values, and I believe my child has plenty of opportunities to learn about different cultures. Always feel happy to leave my child here for the day, and I know he's in great hands.
