Blossoms is a fantastic nursery! The staff and management are very welcoming and friendly, they have made me and my child feel very welcome and are supportive of my situation as a single mother. The food and facilities are second to none and I love the parent portal it is very useful as I get to see
and read about my child's day every session. Thank you Blossoms!

Hello, Blossoms team! We just wanted to express how much we appreciate all that you have done to settle not just our boy but us as well. We all had jitters about first-time childcare and you've all been so reassuring and just downright nice and lovely that we couldn't be more pleased. Your help with
establishing a routine around breastfeeding reassured my wife who was really worried about that along with the way you did the settling in sessions was great. We really love being able to log on and see the updates o throughout the day on your parents portal and we enjoy showing the grandparents the sweet photos and comments at the weekends. Keep up your fantastic work you lovely people!

We're quite new to Leicester and had used a nursery in our old home town that we truly loved. We didn't think our son could be happier anywhere. We were wrong! Blossoms really is wow.
The facilities are amazing and the staff are all lovely. The meals are so varied and made from scratch that I could
stay happily for lunch.
We particularly like the access to amazing technology along with old-fashioned values.
Massive thumbs up to Blossoms. We'll be sad when it's time for school.

We moved from a nursery in London where we were very happy, one of our main worries was to find a nursery that felt as homely and safe as the nursery we were leaving behind. We were very nervous about how our daughter would settle in and take to new surroundings, there was no reason for us to worry
- Blossoms came to our rescue and were everything we wanted in a nursery.
The well-timed Christmas event just after our start really helped introduce us to the Blossoms family and it was nice to meet with some of the other parents. Thank you for all the support and patience in making the transition a smooth one and for being so understanding and flexible with our constantly changing moving date.

I visited the nursery for the first time in Summer 2016 when I was expecting our baby and totally fell in love with everything. From the warm welcome from the management team, the friendliness of all the staff I encountered - including the jolliest chef ever - to the beautiful facilities and the amazing
outdoor environment - it was just a no-brainer to register. The nursery kept in touch with me during the remainder of my pregnancy and after the birth which was so personal and I was really excited about actually starting with our daughter. We've now started and I'm so pleased that everything still lives up to - and exceeds - the initial promise. We are thrilled with the loving care and the safe and secure surroundings and look forward to sharing the next few years with the team at Blossoms Day Nursery as they support and care for our daughter.

Thanks, Blossoms Day Nursery. You guys are fantastic!
You seem to think of everything from caring for the children to meeting our needs as parents. The suggestions you gave to help improve my son's eating habits have been invaluable and have helped us get back into the routine of eating together as
a family instead of dreading meal times. My son has settled well at nursery and the staff are all extremely friendly and very approachable. Thank you to the girls in the room for all that you do.

Both my daughter and son love Blossoms! My wife and I have found the staff to be fantastic as they make us feel at ease and assured that our children are in safe hands, providing a lovely and caring environment for them both. The kids love the outdoor spaces and resources that the nursery provide.
They both enjoy the food at Blossoms. We as parents have found management to be extremely helpful and professional in all our dealings with them. I honestly cannot fault them and would highly recommend this nursery! The Parent Zone is an amazing tool. I can check up on their progress throughout the day and feel reassured that they are happy and having a good time.

Blossoms have done everything and more to help my son settle into nursery life. It has been very difficult for him but they have never stopped ensuring he has the best time possible and that he gets the most out of his time at Blossoms.
All the staff are extremely friendly helpful and approachable.
All aspects of the nursery are amazing from the meals to the various activities and not to mention the fantastic parental portal.
I couldn't have asked for a better nursery for my son. Thank you Blossoms.

My son settled into Blossoms straight away. When he is dropped off he is eager to get in the room and play. My son is always happy when I collect him. The staff are always happy to stop ad talk about how my son is going at nursery, home and what he can work on together to help him.
The staff are friendly,
approachable and encouraging. They acknowledge his interests, needs and he had already formed strong bonds with the practitioners. My son is very happy here. I would highly recommend Blossoms.

Blossoms Day Nursery has been an amazing experience for my son from day one. He started at 10 months old. He has gained confidence so quickly, becoming very sociable and he is very well settled and happy at the end of each of day.
The staff have been absolutely fantastic, very accommodating and helped
our son reach every milestone with immense support, I can't thank them enough.
Most importantly we have seen that Blossoms Day Nursery always give one to one attention between key workers and kids, and this is great.
The staff always take time out to speak to us and keep us updated with progress, furthermore, make action plans for the future to maximise outcomes.

We are incredibly happy with having chosen Blossoms as our son and daughter's nursery. We find all staff to be remarkably professional whilst being friendly and welcoming, each day the carers make time to give detailed feedback on the children's day and they seem to have a genuine interest and rapport
with the children. Our children formed strong bonds with both their peers and carers in a short period of time. There are a variety of activities for the children each day which combine fun and learning and attention is paid to individual interests and needs. The outside space is exceptional with a fabulous array of play equipment that means we often have to bribe our active four year old to come home with us! Quite honestly we would not hesitate in recommending the nursery to anyone.

I have three children and so have been to many nurseries over the years and I can honestly say that Blossoms is by far the best we have ever known. The staff are so kind and caring, they go the extra mile to care and look after each child.
The environment is wonderful - friendly and happy - it really
feels like a family. The rooms are always spotless and they have the most fantastic outside play area for the children. The food looks delicious and my son always enjoyed the different meals on offer. I would without hesitation recommend this nursery - thank you to all at Blossoms for caring for my son so well.

We enrolled my daughter at Blossoms Day Nursery in January 2016 and she started attending from February 2016. Having been there a month now, I'd say she seems settled and happy. She has a little cry in the morning when she is dropped off, this is very short lived and lasts a minute or so. Once she is
in the high chair and ready for breakfast she is absolutely fine.

As she is one, she is currently in the Wagtail room which ranges from 6 months to 2 years. The staff seem very friendly and my daughter seems to have taken well to them. I do find that when she is picked up she seems happy so that is reassuring for a mother to see.

Food menu is great, the chef is lovely too.

I do like the fact that as a parent you can walk in at anytime and see how your child is doing again this puts your mind at ease.

Finally, I would definitely recommend Blossoms Day Nursery to family and friends as so far I am pretty pleased with my choice.

My son started off at Blossom's nursery. I then had to move him to a nursery which had standards of 'outstanding' by Ofsted to qualify him for his funded hours.
However that nursery might have been 'outstanding' by Ofsted but for me as a parent who has a level 3 in Childcare that nursery was not the
place for my child to be. Blossom's is an outstanding nursery, therefore I have moved my son back to Blossom's.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Blossoms it is a fantastic nursery. My 14 month old son has been attending for a couple of months and there has already been significant improvements in his development. His social interaction and the bonds he is forming with his carers confirms
to me that we definitely chose the right place. The staff were extremely welcoming and you feel very much part of the family. We knew as soon as we visited that it was this place for us. The facilities are excellent and the outdoor space in particular is wonderful, the management fully explain the anticipated learning journey and the handovers after each visit are thorough. I feel extremely comfortable each time I leave my son with them as I know he is very well cared for and most importantly he is happy there.

Current Review Score: 8.5 (8.483)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.5 (8.483) out of 10 for Blossoms Day Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 7 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.8 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.643 for Blossoms Day Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (71 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) + (5 Poors x 2) + (1 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 84 Ratings = 4.643
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.84 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Blossoms Day Nursery is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 125 number of registered child places is 25. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 25 = 0.24
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
