Tangent House Day Nursery

No doubt, an absolutely fantastic nursery! My daughter has been at Tangent House Day Nursery since February 2022 and she has learned and grown so much in a space of only 3 months. When she first arrived, she was not sociable, clingy, and not confident. To say in just 3 months she is independent, sociable, and super confident and this is thanks to the dedication, commitment, time, effort, and energy given during her time there by all staff members. They have also been brilliant in making extraordinary efforts due to my daughter's intolerances and have also helped with being a new mum. I would recommend Tangent House day Nursery.

My son has attended Tangent House Day Nursery from the age of one (now two and a half). Over this last year, we have seen a huge difference in his confidence and speech ability. Each week, learning something new and surprising us at home with his understanding of what he is saying and doing. The nursery itself has been amazing, with support for any concerns we have faced and general care of our son. He has made some really great connections with all the staff.

Fantastic nursery! All staff are very polite and knowledgeable in their field of work. They really care about each individual child and show so much support for both child and parent. I am kept up-to-date with all news regarding my child and nursery via an app. It's great to see pictures and have progress reports on how my child is doing. My child is happy to go to nursery, he is excited about all the things he gets to do. What made me choose Tangent over all the other nurseries was the outdoor play, they really understand that kids need outdoor time on a daily basis. They need to explore and not just be confined to a room all day.

Tangent House Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery! We are extremely happy with the care our child receives at the nursery and pleased with how much he has developed since joining. The nursery is inviting and decorated nicely with the children’s work and interests. The nursery is very clean and well organized. Staff at the nursery are experienced and friendly and we find our son has built a strong and comfortable bond with them. The nursery offers lots of outdoor play, and a variety of educational and indoor creative activities throughout the day. They celebrate lots of different festivals and special events and encourage children and parents to get involved where possible. Management and staff are considerate to the child's needs and very accommodating to parents’ requirements when needed. They have an app which is updated with the child’s progress throughout the day and management are quick to respond to any questions or queries through the app. Overall, we are very happy with the nursery!

It is a very good nursery all the staff is very nice and polite. My child really likes playing in the playground and always is so excited to go to nursery. He loves playing with the sand and comes home telling us he had had a great time making models out of the sand.

Brilliant nursery. My son always looks forward to going. The staff are so welcoming towards him. I have also noticed he's learning and can say words he hasn't said before without help writing/drawing letters out.

Extremely happy with the nursery, very dedicated staff and management. My boy is very happy and comfortable at Tangent House Nursery. He has improved so much. Can’t say enough thank you's. He’s been looked after very well there. Thank you.

Very highly recommended nursery. They really do go above and beyond to make it great for my daughter and very good in communication, learning through play. Absolutely brilliant nursery, caring staff and lovely place. My daughter has always looked forward to going to nursery, never said, I don't want to go! As you can see now she is enjoying and learning new stuff. From day one till now, she has improved a lot. After viewing lots of different nurseries for my little girl, I decided to choose Tangent House Day Nursery and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

My daughter has been so happy here. She's always so excited to go to school and she loves all the teachers. Everyone is so friendly and always there to help when needed. The children are looked after extremely well. I can't rate this nursery high enough - thank you for doing such a great job with my daughter.

The staff are well trained in order to support the children in their physical and mental development. They are very friendly and my daughter enjoys going to this nursery. The activities are planned so that all children can participate and feel comfortable and enjoy the activities. My girl is going to this nursery every day and I am very happy with the way they supported her when her little sister was born as she was having tantrum periods. I am very happy with their care.

I will definitely recommend Tangent House to anyone. The staff are very caring. The management is good. The environment is very clean and safe for the kids. The food is very nice. My daughter was not eating by herself. But her one year in the nursery, she can eat by herself now very well, unless she is not hungry or does not like the food.

The staff at Tangent House day nursery are always genuinely happy to see the children daily. They encourage child development through sensory play, music, outdoor activities and arts and crafts etc. Our son has enjoyed his time there and will definitely miss them all when he goes to school this autumn. Would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been attending this outstanding nursery for the past few months, and she absolutely loves going there! I was very unsure if she would settle in, but the staff made her feel secure and loved. The nursery manager was extremely helpful and flexible with timings and has been very helpful in offering us as many settling in sessions as we felt were needed. My daughter has learnt so many new things in such a short space of time, from eating herself to saying lots of new words! We are truly grateful to all of the staff for providing such an amazing environment for children to thrive in.

Outstanding nursery. My son attends the nursery and he is extremely happy. The staff are friendly and very supportive, they have encouraged my son to be independent and his learning has come on very well. They keep informed of his progress and update me daily on how he is doing and what he has been eating.

My boys have returned to Tangent House Day Nursery after some time away due to lockdown. They have settled quickly and this is down to the staff team, from management through to the nursery nurses and kitchen staff. We cannot fault the nursery. Wonderful place!

Since my son joined Tangent House in June 2020, he has progressed in so many ways. The main thing I noticed was his vocabulary, it was great and he will still often use words I didn't know he even knew! The care and love I witness from the staff towards my son is amazing and I feel so comfortable leaving him with them. He has such a great time there and does not want to leave when I collect him.

My son absolutely loves this nursery, looks forward to going on the mornings that he goes. Always talks about his keyworkers in the Ladybird room and how he can't wait to see them when he gets there. The nursery is excellent and I'm so glad I decided to send my son here. Thank you Tangent House!

My daughter started in January after moving from her previous playschool, within a week she was telling me how much she loves it. She says she has fun every day, playing with lots of toys and doing lots of activities, which tells me there’s plenty of choices on what to do. I’m very happy with the staff, they are kind, caring and really look after my daughter when she’s hurt herself. I would definitely recommend Tangent House Day Nursery to anyone looking for a fun, educational and down to earth playschool for their child or children!

The nursery is amazing. My daughter has been going here for four months, and she loves the place. She is a special needs child. She received a lot of help in the nursery and made a lot of progress in development. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There's a lot of games and activities for children. At the end of each day, I receive a very detailed description oh how my daughter's day was. The nursery management also supported me, and I was always able to seek their advice and help. I highly recommend this nursery.
