My child is always happy and eager to go inside, and the staff is always welcoming, friendly and supportive. The communication between nursery and parents is great in many levels but when is related to your child I couldn't ask for better.
We are so pleased you are happy and it is always a pleasure to see the children so keen to join us for their sessions.
A wonderful, safe, nurturing nursery, with outstanding caring, loving, enthusiastic and dedicated staff. My son thrived here, loved going in every single day. The staff are amazing, Georgina leads the nursery with pride, and her staff are one in a million.
Thank you for sharing these kind words with us. We pride ourselves in the care we provide, and will pass these lovely comments on to the team.
My son attends Wellingtons nursery and loves it there. He has a good group of friends and is comfortable leaving us and being in the care of the staff at the nursery. The SENCo lady has gone above and beyond in her role of supporting my son, along with the nursery manager. My son is looking forward to another year with you all before he starts big school!
Thank you for this lovely feedback, I will be sure to share it with the team.
Overall, we are really happy with the service provided by the nursery. Our children are happy at nursery and are very well cared for. The staff are friendly and welcoming and have a great relationship with both our children. Our children have grown and developed well during their time at Wellington.
Thank you very much for your kind words, I will be sure to pass them on to the team!
We are very happy with the developments our 2 year old son has made while being in the nursery. He really enjoys all the fun, educational and outdoor activities that the nursery offers. The staff is incredible and we are happy to see that our son feels very comfortable around them.
Thank you very much for your review, I will be sure to pass your kind words on to the team!
There is no routine for the children, they do as they want, some play with toys, some draw and some just cry for long periods of time (witnessed first hand by myself). Poor handover from staff to parents. When asked what my child had done for the day and what he ate, no one knew. I would avoid sending any child to this nursery as the care for the children is very poor. A couple of good members of staff. Avoid at all costs!
Our priority is always the well-being and development of the children in our care, and we take all concerns seriously. We will always welcome open and polite dialogue, but there is a clear expectation that our staff are treated with respect. Staff follow proper hygiene procedures, ensure engaging...
The teachers are incredibly understanding, patient, and caring. They've handled every situation, including potty training accidents, gracefully. We love the daily feedback the teachers provide at the end of the day.
The teachers also have a knack for keeping the children excited and learning, even during challenging moments.
The all-inclusive meals are a huge plus, and we're so grateful for the nutritious meals our child receives. We've noticed a significant improvement in our child's vocabulary and social skills.
Overall, we are incredibly impressed with the quality of care and education provided here. We highly recommend this preschool to any parent seeking a nurturing and stimulating environment for their child.
What a wonderful review to read, thank you very much and we have passed your kind words on to the team. It is so rewarding to hear that you - and your child - are happy with our lovely nursery. Thank you.
Staff are amazing. My both children went to Wellingtons Nursery and little one started when she was 11 months old and here she comes to her final year! I highly recommend as they have lots of fun activities and children are very happy and enthusiastic.
Thank you very much for your kind words, they have been passed on to our team. It has been a pleasure caring for your daughter throughout her time with us!
He was in the baby room for 6 months (left due to work reasons) they made us feel so comfortable and happy leaving the little one there, we got regular updates which helped ease my mind whilst working, and the smile on my little one's face when he saw his key worker in the baby room said it all and how much he loved being there and with her. They continuously helped develop his skills and progress in all areas. Although in the baby room, we saw other staff members due to the later pick-up time and they were all great with my little one making him smile.
From the first day, my baby felt comfortable, she's always happy to go in and she loves it. The way she developed was amazing. I'm so pleased with all the staff.
It's so lovely to hear that your daughter is happy and settled at nursery, and thank you for your kind comments.
All staff are brilliant! Very polite and caring. Teachers from my son's group help him a lot with his speech progress and always try to help with every issue raised. I strongly recommend this nursery. It helps the child to build skills needed in school and supports his independence.
Thank you very much for your kind words, we will pass them on to the whole team!
My son goes to Wallington Day Nursery, the teachers are so friendly and the place is nice and tidy. I recommend Wallington Day Nursery to everyone. Good parking location nearby, my son is so happy in this place. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, and for recommending us to other families! We are pleased to hear that your son is happy and settled, and enjoys the wonderful activities he gets up to every day.
Very happy with the nursery. The staff are great and very approachable. My daughter is very happy there once she settles and they are very good at dealing with a child's individual needs. The all-inclusive part like nappies, snacks, etc included makes it so much easier.
Our staff work very hard to make sure each child feels welcome, and that they enjoy their time with us - thank you very much for your kind words!
I’m really happy with my son's development since he started to go to Wellingtons Nursery. All the staff are really nice and helpful. I highly recommend this nursery and I don't have enough words to thank you all for your amazing job.
We are so pleased to hear that you are happy with the nursery and our wonderful team - what lovely comments, thank you!
We always had a good experience with the nursery. Our daughter is always happy to turn back there. She never cries when arrives at the moment to go to the nursery. She is always smiling when she is coming home from there. If she is happy there, we are happy too. So, we are grateful to all the staff members!
Thank you for your lovely comments and so nice to hear how much your daughter enjoys attending the nursery.
My son started at Nursery 8 months ago and he has loved it from day one! The staff is very cooperative and always meets you with a big smile! Communication is brilliant and it’s very easy to reach out to staff and management if needed. We as parents are very happy about our child's development and new skills. Wishing all the best and having a great time to everyone at Wellingtons Regent Place Day Nursery this summer holidays!
Hope you have a lovely summer too.
My experience with the nursery has been amazing, a mother and a student at the same time is hard but the staff and the management made everything possible for me to have stress free whilst I am in Uni and my daughter will be in the nursery. Thanks everyone and I am really grateful.
Thank you so much for your lovely words. Well done to you also for managing to be a student and having a young child - I'm very glad we were able to help.
The nursery is good, the staff are very cooperative. My daughter enjoys her time with her teachers and friends. She learns good things every day, they do lots of activities. She has become more confident. She loves to go to nursery every day.
So pleased that your daughter is enjoying her time at our nursery and that her confidence is growing.
My daughter has started at Wellingtons a few weeks ago. She is only ten months old, and I was quite nervous for her. I am so grateful to the staff members who made these adjustments much easier for her. They update me every day and from time to time send photos to the app. I can see that my daughter likes the people there very much even though she still cries in the mornings.
Always ring the nursery during the day if you want to check on her though.
Both our children have been at Wellingtons since they were 1 year old. Our oldest had such a positive experience that we had no reason not to send our second one there. She loves it. Staff are friendly and helpful, there is a real sense that they genuinely care for the welfare and development of the children and they keep us up to date through the online app (and regular parental sessions pre-COVID). Any issues are always taken seriously and dealt with appropriately, and the owners are responsive to feedback. Nurseries are run on tight margins, but we've never felt they've short-changed us.
It’s been wonderful to have your children at our nursery and the support you have given to us and our staff. Our staff are very passionate about looking after the children and we always work together with parents to resolve any issues quickly. Thank you for your lovely comments.

Jo now manages our site at Regent Place, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from her previous position at Wellingtons Lawford Lane. Jo works hard to ensure our staff, children and families at Regent Place are all happy and motivated, and has lots of wonderful ideas for activities with the children and opportunities for them to flourish and grow.
Our parents are particularly appreciative of the support that Jo offers, in ensuring that their children settle into a warm and nurturing routine at Lawford Lane.
Jo managed Lawford Lane from its opening in 2015, and was a key contributor to its growth and success. Jo's incredible organisation skills and positive attitude allowed the nursery to manage significant growth in occupancy, ensuring children, families, and staff all received an excellent level of service. The nursery was sadly forced to close in 2024 at the end of its lease.
Beckee has worked in childcare for over 8 years and has a real passion for the profession, and for ensuring that children are given the best opportunities to flourish and grow. Qualifying in 2021 as an Early Years Teacher, and now working on a PhD, Beckee works hard to keep her knowledge and skills up to date and ensure that developments in thinking and practice are conveyed to her team.
Beckee has helped to establish a true feeling of calm and stability within the Group and has gained a strong reputation for bringing out the best in her staff.
Beckee has lots of experience in early years and absolutely loves spending time in the rooms with the children, thinking up lots of messy and wonderful learning activities. If she isn't in a meeting, you will probably still find her in the rooms having as much fun as the children!
Lesley and her husband John have 2 children and 3 grandchildren, one of which may well follow in her (Wellington) footsteps. When not at work, Lesley loves spending time at the seaside, relaxing with a glass of something bubbly while watching the sea.
Lesley retired in April 2023
