Ashbourne nursery has been fantastic since my son started in March. They have gone above and beyond to help not only him settle in brilliantly, but us parents too. He's now doing full days and loving it, thanks to the fantastic team.

My first started in March and I was very anxious about his sleeping and feeding. The settling-in sessions were fantastic and made me feel much more comfortable, with the team going out of their way to do so. 5 weeks later and he is loving nursery with huge smiles when I drop him off. The team have been
great and very kind. I couldn't have chosen a better nursery for my son and myself.

We have been so pleased with the care since being at Ashbourne. Our eldest moved in September 24 due to our relocation, he was still struggling with separation at drop off at his old nursery but within weeks of being at Ashbourne he settled really well and loves being here! Our youngest started at
8 months in November 24 and is thriving. The staff are all so attentive, caring and passionate about the care they provide for the children. I highly recommend Ashbourne as it is a fantastic setting with lovely members of staff who greet us with a smile every morning!

Our daughter has been attending Ashbourne in Southam for just over a year now. I cannot praise the team enough. We had some issues settling in but they have always been patient and loving and taken excellent care of our little one. She always comes home tired but happy and well fed and looks forward
to her next day in. We honestly can't praise them enough.

We really love the nursery and all the amazing staff. Our two boys are so happy there and skip in every day. They seem to be making leaps and bounds in their development and confidence. Most importantly I just know they are cared for a safe. It's like a second family.

My daughter has been attending Ashbourne in Southam since last year and she is thriving. She started in Tweenies but is now taking the leap into Pre-School. She loves going in, in the morning and is always very tired when she comes home. She has made lots of new friends and her development has been
amazing. I couldn't be happier with the care they provide for her and she always eats well.

My two children absolutely love nursery thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at Ashbourne Southam. My oldest has been attending for two and a half years and she astounds me every day with the things she's learnt from pre school, the staff have prepared her so well for her next step into primary school.

My child has been attending since 11 months at the peak of her separation anxiety, on the back of a 2 week long haul trip, and her first ever sickness! My child and I were an emotional wreck back then but the support given to both child and I have been incredible and I can't imagine a better possible
start at nursery. Staff are all lovely, patient, kind and gentle, and count forward 5 months baby now looks forward to going to "school" every day, and has her set of lovely friends and has bonded extremely well with the staff there.
Lots of messy play, outdoor play, stimulation and activities, really attentive care.
Very considerate to working parents. Emails and calls are answered promptly.
When we first visited baby was 4 months, a year has passed and the hardware and management transformation had been incredible. Highly recommend. Happy place, happy staff, happy child, happy parent.

I would most definitely recommend this nursery to any parent for their child.
All the staff are very caring, kind and supportive and always go above and beyond to ensure all the children and parents are happy.
My son loves coming to preschool and we will be sad to leave when he starts reception
in September, as Ashbourne feels like part of the family. He started at the nursery just over 2 years ago and we have never had a bad experience, nor with my previous son who attended prior to starting school.
They do fun activities with the children and incorporate a variety of different topics and religious holidays to ensure inclusivity and diversity in their teaching.
My son's favourite activities at the nursery are arts and crafts, baking, story time, dancing and singing, and outdoor exploring. During these activities, the staff include literacy and numeracy skills to make learning fun, ensuring the children are prepared and ready for school.
Thank you for everything.

My child has been attending Ashbourne Day Nurseries Southam since September 2021. It was tough trusting him with people who were strangers, but all of the staff have quickly become family to us. They love my son like he is their own, the care they show and the joy and pride they share in his achievements
and development is like nothing else. The facilities are amazing, they provide him with nourishing food and he is always so excited to go! My son has absolutely flourished since he began at nursery and it’s down to the amazing staff who take the time and have bonded with him so closely. Every day they host a range of different activities and my boy is always proud to show us his latest artwork and creations! I feel so happy that my child is getting such a great start in his academic and social journey. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a nursery for their child to consider Ashbourne Day Nurseries Southam!

Our eldest was at Ashbourne since she was 9 months old and has just started school, and our youngest has been there for about 1 and a half years, but we are moving him to the nursery attached to his sister's school. However, we are very sad to leave as the whole Ashbourne team are so wonderful with
the kids and feel more like trusted family members really. The kids love them all and we are so grateful they have been a part of our kids' lives.

Our son has been at Ashbourne for over 18 months now, and we have just signed our daughter up to join him next year
Our experience of the nursery has been incredibly positive. The staff and the manager are fantastic and show so much caring, love and support to the children.
The setting is fantastic,
and so much investment has gone into new resources for the children. My son’s development far exceeds my expectations - regularly we are surprised by the amount he has learnt at nursery and his speech and language is phenomenal. My children are also bilingual, which is fully supported and encouraged by the nursery.
The range of activities that the staff do with the children is amazing, and most important of all my son is so happy at the nursery.

My baby started here when he was 9 months old and to say I was an emotional wreck is an understatement. The staff at Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Southam were so nice and so kind. Not just to my baby but to me too!
They kept in touch with me while he was settling in and were so patient with any questions.
They worked with me to problem-solve any issues and always seemed like they really cared. My baby’s dairy allergy was no problem to them at all.
The staff are always so positive and cheerful while being totally professional. I cannot praise them enough. I wouldn’t hesitate about putting any child of mine here. I don’t think I met one person who wasn’t made for their job, a wonderful team and wonderful nursery.

Lovely nursery! My daughter has been going a few months now and I couldn’t fault them. The staff have been so accommodating and have got to know her so quickly. She happily runs into them everyday and is always happy in the setting. Their creative play is wonderful and they are always doing messy fun
activities. My little girl loves their soft play/sensory room upstairs and their song-singing. All of the staff are so warm and welcoming, massive shout out to two staff members who make my little girl's day! The new manager has been nothing but helpful and supportive with anything we’ve needed. Good handovers and your questions are always answered happily nothing is ever too much trouble. The fresh food made on site is also a win with my little one as well as the fruit and puddings! A very friendly loving nursery, would definitely recommend it!

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.727)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.727) out of 10 for Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Southam is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.889 for Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Southam is calculated as follows: ( (97 Excellents x 5) + (10 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 108 Ratings = 4.889
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.838 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Southam is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 48 number of registered child places is 9.6. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 9.6 = 0.938
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
