Freshfields Nursery School

Starting nursery is a massive milestone for everyone in the family. I love the outdoor space at Freshfields and that my daughter gets to spend so much time outside. The staff are all friendly and caring. I feel well informed, confident and comfortable that my daughter is well cared for while I am at work.

My daughter has loved her time at Freshfields, she has learnt so much and is more than ready to start school. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, the food is great and there are even farm animals on site. The only downside is the carpark gets very busy and its a single lane track in and out.

We love Freshfields, all the staff have been so friendly and engaging. The gardens are so lovely and the kids get to spend so much time outside. My child comes home with new art work, cookery and songs all the time.

Both my son and daughter attend Freshfields nursery. My son will be leaving to go to school soon and has attended since he was 9 months old there. I can not fault the care both my children receive. There is a wide range of opportunities and learning which is fantastic. In the time we have been there we have visits to the onsite farm, learning to care for the animals, Forest school and French just to name a few! The staff and management are super nurturing and supportive to the children but also to the whole family. I always sense a happy, friendly and safe environment which is also very clean! I'm so glad that we chose Freshfields for our children.

They offer breakfast club drop off, which helps to balance work and school drop offs. We have only been with them a few months, but we have had a great experience at Freshfields and would recommend.

Brilliant setting, great facilities, communication and caring staff that promote my child's wellbeing and development at the forefront. So pleased with the care our daughter has and the support and educational opportunities she is receiving. Would recommend

We are so thankful & lucky to have had the most wonderful experience with Freshfields so far. Our son is currently in Snowdrops & it's been a seamless transition. The nursery team are so kind. We have noticed a huge developmental change in our son since being at Nursery and it's down to the 3 of them. They are generous with their time, always giving us space to talk/discuss and share. Our biggest concern was our son's eating, particularly with harder textures but his transition has felt effortless. We're amazed at how far he's come in just 2 months. They're incredibly calming & knowledgeable. Our son loves being at Nursery and the environment that they create for him is one that is loving, fun & nurturing. We couldn't trust them more with him & as first-time parents, it's been exactly what we could have hoped for and more. We couldn't sing their praises higher.

We couldn't be more impressed with Freshfields. Our eldest has been there since he was 9 months old, and our youngest is due to start in August. The welcome the children received along with the happy, caring and kind nature of all the staff really makes us feel like part of the Freshfields Family. My son often comes home exhausted and muddy, but with a huge smile on his face having had the most fun and exciting day. Thank you, Freshfields.

Our daughter is always happy to go to nursery, greeting her carers with smiles. They know her so well and are brilliant at communicating with us. The baby room is run with care, warmth and attention.

My daughter has been attending since April 2024 and loves Freshfields, they keep her entertained with lots of fun activities. The staff are fantastic, she always seems very well looked after. Would recommend it highly.

My daughter has been at Freshfields for just over a year now, she went in at young age of 9 months old which made me very nervous but the staff are so lovely and she thrived. She has moved up age groups over this period and you can see that the care and quality of staff is consistent throughout the age groups it wasn't just one department that we had a great experience with. They genuinely care about your family and your wellbeing as parents as well and always have the time to support and answer any developmental questions we may have. My daughter reaches for her key workers every morning for a hug which is lovely to see, and we love the focus on outdoor activities they have as well.

Our daughter has loved the nursery. The staff is amazing, everyone is really nice, well managed and organised. Facilities are the best you can find, with animals and flowers. Would recommend it to everyone.

The nursery is in a lovely setting, and the animals and outdoor areas are brilliant - the effort that all of the team go to, to make each day special for the children is truly lovely. All the team (whether in his class or not) know my son by his first name and chat with him when he comes in, in the morning. He is thriving there, and I could not speak more highly of everyone. I’m grateful for the hard work, openness and communication the staff provide.

The staff here are amazing, from the manager down to all the girls in the rooms. My child is extremely well looked after and is engaged with very well. We have seen a remarkable progression in them since joining, and we are constantly updated about their progress and the activities they are doing. The staff go out of their way to make sure we parents are engaged with regularly. My child really enjoys it too. I couldn’t ask for any more or recommend Freshfields highly enough.

We can honestly say that Freshfields is a very special place and would fully recommend it to any parent looking for a nursery in Stratford-upon-Avon or the local area.

Fantastic nursery. My little boy really enjoys coming to nursery. He gets his bag ready by the door every morning and is really excited to start his day. He loves visiting the farm animals and taking part in the amazing activities the staff provide. He’s been attending the nursery since he was nine months old, and we are really sad to be leaving in September for school. I highly recommend this nursery to all new parents, as I know it’s very hard to choose a nursery for your little one.

It took my 12-month-old 2 weeks (she only goes to nursery twice a week) to settle into the nursery when she first started. She now loves going to nursery and I know she’s well looked after. Special thanks to the nursery staff.

I love that the nursery has got its own little farm, which probably contributes to the fact that my toddler is not scared of any animal and will go up to pet any animal.. regardless of it being a chicken or rabbit, or a goat!
