First Steps Kindergarten Leamington Spa

My eldest has been with First Step since she was 11 months old. This week she is leaving First steps to start school. During the past nearly 4 years they have been amazing. They provided all the support we needed and made accommodations to deal with health related situation. The outdoor space is definitely a high point. Summer time the kids love spending time outside. My youngest is also at first steps and I couldn't recommend them enough.

The staff is also very flexible, especially when children are sick. Can't recommand it enough !

Firat Steps Kindergarten is a kind, compassionate and supportive nursery. They prioritise the needs of each and every child and offer a great range of fun learning activities. The staff are helpful, friendly and caring. They provide an environment where little ones can thrive. My little girl especially loves playing in great, big garden. I have watched her confidence grow and grow being at First Stepa.

First Steps have been so supportive and super flexible in allowing multiple settling-in sessions with me present before building up my child’s confidence to stay by herself. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and now my child talks about them all the time outside of nursery. They set up fun interactive activities and spend lots of time outside in the garden, which is really important to me. I know that if my child is upset, she will be looked after and feel better in no time. We get honest and amusing updates at the end of each day at pick-up, and we are really glad we chose First Steps for our child.

Our child is coming to the end of her time at First Steps and will soon be starting school. Ever since she began her time there as a baby, the staff have been attentive, supportive and always greeted her (and us) with a happy smile. As soon as she began to talk she would tell us of what she did at nursery and who she played with. She would do so with much glee. I would recommend this place to anyone who is considering putting their child into a nursery. It is in a great place, the staff are wonderful, and it is run really well.

The manager is doing a great job at running that nursery, she is truly surrounded by some loving Misses who treat the kids as their own from what I can see! Place of fun, love and trust. We will miss it loads!

The staff, management and facilities are all excellent, this is the first nursery that we have used, we can't fault it and feel lucky that we have found a place that feels like a second home for our little girl.

First Steps Kindergarten Leamington Spa is a brilliant nursery. They are so accommodating and flexible. My son does different and engaging activities every day and is very happy there. Their care is exceptional. I would highly recommend to anyone.

When we moved to Leamington, I looked around them all and chose First Steps as it gave me the most amazing feeling. She loved going! She learnt loads, grew in confidence and made friends. She never once cried at the door. The staff were so lovely to us as a family, not just her. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

My daughter is 22 months and has attended the nursery for the last 4 months and she absolutely loves it. She has learnt a lot of good behaviour through the nursery and she is soo excited when she approaches the building to the nursery. She gets so excited to see the lovely teachers there.

I've had my two boys at First Steps and I only have good words to say about them. My first boy just started reception and I can tell the two years spent in First Steps paid a major tribute to his very good start. Staff at the nursery are focused on each child's needs and work together as a team. They know each child from nursery, are friendly and kind and this reassured me and made my boys feel like they are part of a family. Communication is another important aspect which I think is very good at this nursery. Management and staff are very efficient with sharing relevant information each parent needs to know. The range and diversity of daily activities surprised me in a very nice way. I'm glad my boys get to explore stuff they definitely wouldn't have been able to do at home.

I’ve had 2 children attend First Steps and I can’t praise them enough for all they have done. My little boy started at 2 years and had limited speech, within a couple of months we noticed a huge difference. Knowing how happy he was at nursery we started my daughter in tinies at 5 months old. She absolutely loves nursery and is a very clever little girl. The staff are amazing and the range of activities are too. The best decision we ever made. A home-from-home nursery. Highly recommended.

Two of our children have attended First Steps from 12-months old, and I would 100% recommend the nursery. The staff are lovely and caring, and my children have always felt comfortable as they have progressed through the different rooms. The staff are consistent with staff having been there for both my son and daughter's time at the nursery (there is a 3.5 year age gap between our children). The space at the nursery is brilliant, and the garden is amazing, so the children are given lots of opportunities to access this space. Parents are kept well informed, and it’s lovely to see what the children have been up to each day. The nursery has always dealt with any concerns our children have had so well and have done everything to help our children feel at ease. The staff in the Early Years room do an incredible job in preparing children for school helping them to become independent and giving them a solid basis in the key areas required for school, whilst having lots of fun! 100% recommended!

Wonderful nursery. They take great care of my daughter, she loves to go. The carers are great, very friendly and lovely with children. I was very nervous when my daughter started nursery, but everybody was really kind and caring, so it made the process lot easier. Kids do a lot of different activities and if you give consent you will see nice photos of them at the end of the day. I am so lucky that my daughter goes here!

We absolutely love the nursery! We relocated to the area in 2020 when our son was 14 months old. The staff have been so welcoming and really made us feel at ease. Our son settled in straight away and all our fears about him being at a new nursery quickly disappeared. The range of activities, encouragement and relaxed atmosphere is reflected in all the happy faces at drop off and pick up.

Really nice nursery. The staff are kind and the atmosphere is calm. Activities are fun, interesting and our children have learnt a lot, which was even more apparent when our eldest started school. The staff are well organised.

My son has been attending this nursery since he was 9 months old and is now 3. I cannot express how happy we are that we chose them. As a parent, to see your child happy to attend is what puts us more at ease. The staff are kind and motivate and encourage the children to be independent. They are always willing to talk to the parents in case of any concern. Also, the nursery has a massive garden that the children are lucky to enjoy allowing them to spend quality time outdoors. As a plus, parking is not an issue, ever.

We honestly feel they are part of the family!
