Clopton Nursery and Kids Club is an 'Outstanding’ Ofsted rated (September 2023) childcare provider for children aged 2 – 12 years.

The Nursery (for children aged 2 – 4), is a play-based learning environment. This consists of a wide variety of child and adult led daily activities that are aged appropriate and consistent with the Early Years Foundation Framework.

Staff are there to encourage, reassure and nurture to create a happy and stimulating environment.

The team are trained Nursery Practitioners who are all Paediatric First Aid Trained and the site holds the Millie’s Mark Award (since 2017).

Clopton Kids Club offers before and after school care for children who attend Thomas Jolyffe School and run a Holiday Club (during all school holidays -including In Service Days) for any children aged 2 – 11-year olds.

The setting also has access to a Forest School Site (established in 2015) and regularly organises sessions for children of all ages at no additional cost.

The overall aim of the setting is to provide the highest quality childcare, where children feel happy and secure, at a price that their community can afford.

Amazing times for our little girl in the last two years at Clopton Nursery, the ladies have all been looking after her very well and helped her grow and have so much fun and show more confidence in daily tasks. We look forward for our younger daughter to go there soon too.

Great nursery with lots of space and activities, great staff - my son attended for just one term and he just finished preschool now but he loved it, asking to go to the nursery. We will definitely bring his little brother once he turns 3 years old.

Clopton Nursery is a fabulous setting - our daughter attended from 2 years old and has just finished pre school. Our son also attends the afterschool club at Clopton nursery too. The children are very well cared for, they are offered an abundance of additional experiences and have really thoroughly
enjoyed their time there.
The staff are incredible, they all seem to genuinely care about the children. Very lucky to have such a great team surrounding the children! Thank you

They have been absolutely amazing at supporting our daughter with additional needs, they have all gone above and beyond to help bring out her beautiful personality and help her find a way to communicate and find her voice. I honestly couldn't recommend them enough.

Clopton Nursery is a fantastic, nurturing and inspiring setting for any child. We moved our child to attend to the preschool at Clopton and have been super impressed with the care and attention to detail from the first day. One thing that Clopton do very well compared to other nurseries is their communication.
Their use of the app allows them to notify parents swiftly with updates of your child's learning or of any accidents they may have had!
They use small groups with their key worker to practice key skills like fine motor skills and each child feels valued.
The management know every family and every child by name making it a truly personal environment. In addition to this, the super wrap around care with breakfast club and after school club really stands head and shoulders above the rest of others attached to schools. The staff care, respect and genuinely enjoy providing a wonderful and safe place for children!

Amazing staff
All of them looked after my son
He really enjoyed every moment in this nursery.
He had lot of funny play in there with all of them.
He learned a lot, especially English (we are Italian).
In just a few months, he learned to communicate in both languages!

My son attended Clopton Nursery Trust from the age of 3 to just before he turned 5 and started school.
I highly recommend this nursery, from my initial visit there and throughout my son's whole time there the manager and the team were nothing but welcoming and friendly and my son absolutely flourished
there.
They helped him work through some difficult stages of behaviour such as biting and he came out the other side thriving.
I only wish they were able to take children from younger than 3 as I would love to send my daughter there when she turns 1 if I could!

The nursery itself is amazing feels safe, welcoming and clean for my child. He has already come so far since starting in September, building on his confidence and talking so much more! The staff are excellent so kind and caring, I feel so comfortable leaving my little boy with them he absolutely loves
coming! I am so grateful to all the staff for everything they do for the children and parents. I viewed a few different nurseries before choosing this one and it was by far the best choice!

Our experience with Clopton Nursery has been brilliant. We can see why it's an outstanding nursery and our son is thriving.
The staff have taken on board his speech and language needs.

I am really happy with Clopton Nursery. They looked after my girl since 2019 and now they look after my boy since September. My boy was not very happy to go to nursery and they helped him a lot to settle in. They tried to find the activities he likes and they played with him. They cuddled him as he
needed leaving him to settle in his own time. Besides at the same time, they updated me during the day, helping me not to worry at work and to feel less guilty for leaving my boy at nursery. Now, I can see my boy really is happy at nursery, enjoying all the activities and developing all his skills. Another very positive point is the easy communication with the nursery and flexibility when you need to amend sessions. Thank you so much to all the team who make this possible.

Mainly overall good, but some things I feel could be better; for example, nobody talks to you at pick-up time, there are people at the gate, but no one tells you how their day has been, how they've eaten etc. Another point is I've never actually spoken to her key worker in person; the only contact is
through the website, which isn't the same as talking to people. One last thing is that sometimes my child has come home with marks, which she says are from another child, but no one has notified me of these incidents. Also, a lot of these questions were being asked to review; we don't actually know because parents do not go inside, so hard to comment on cleanliness and resources etc.

Really happy with the overall care they are providing. My daughter is always happy and joyful when I pick her up from nursery and she really likes the snacks being served. This nursery is fantastic and is extremely reasonably priced compared to other nursery settings in and around Stratford. The staff are always very friendly and very accommodating where possible. My two boys have both attended this nursery over a period of 13 years with my eldest son now being thirteen
and my youngest being three.
Wonderful people and a fantastic setting for all children.
