My son has well and truly settled into little chimps, all thanks to the wonderful staff. They have been kind and patient as hes got to know them, and they have kept me updated on the wondeful activities, and food that he has enjoyed. As a first time mom, they have put me at ease when dropping him off,
and have provided great feedback upon pick up. Two members of staff of Buttercup room are lovely, and my son has started to thoroughly enjoy himself. I couldn't have found a better place to send him. Thank you!

Our son has been attending this setting since March 2024 and he has absolutely loved it. It has been great seeing the development of our son while being at this setting and the staff are so helpful and caring.
Lots of fun and activities are being carried out with the children and they have great focus
on strengthening speech and behaviour.

I don't have enough space for the amount of praise I have for this setting. My son joined at 9 months old in 2023 and I had awful anxiety about leaving him and going back to work, all of the staff went above and beyond to reassure me telling me I could call at any time to check in and uploading multiple
tapestry observations for me to see what he had been up to. He's now 2 and a half and adores the staff and children he spends time with. I am in awe at how above and beyond the staff go. No problem is left unresolved. Communication is brilliant. you've been absolutely amazing. Your kindness, support, and dedication mean the world to us. You don't just care for the children-you take the time to know their families, too, and that makes all the difference. Your passion for SEND is inspiring. As someone who works in education, I've never met a stronger champion for SEND children than you. I adore the nursery, and that's largely because of the love and leadership you bring to it.

Both of my children have attended this nursery over the years, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. My son, who is now 10, attended from the age of 2 until he started Primary. He absolutely loved every stage - from the toddler room right through to preschool. The staff were so caring, supportive,
and really helped him develop both socially and academically.
My daughter also went here between the ages of 1-3, before joining her brother at Primary school nursery. The activities were always engaging and age-appropriate, and the staff made sure she felt safe and happy every day. She now attends the holiday club, which is just as fantastic!
This nursery has been a huge part of both my children's early years and I'm forever grateful. I will keep recommending to everyone I know!
'Little Chimps' team you are the best!

The staff are amazing and treat the children like their own. It's like an extended family. We've always felt that our children are treated safely and are provided ample opportunities to thrive at learning. We welcome our children coming home messy as it really indicates how much fun they have! Our daughter
has been in the setting from 8 months old until she leaves and our son is still there. The setting is amazingly flexible and have always gone our of their way to do what they can for us and our children. I couldn't ask for a better setting! My daughter is very sad to leave shortly.

My daughter has attended the Wimblebury setting for the past two years. I could write so much regarding this nursery it’s absolutely outstanding in every way shape or form. I haven’t got a bad word to say, my child has always been looked after and cared for by all the staff. The nursery setting not
only holds a place in my daughter's heart but also in mine. Although my child will still be picked up and dropped off I wouldn’t want it any other way. They helped along with her speech and encouraged her to eat because she’s a fussy eater. She’s always been around animals in the nursery and they go on wonderful day trips and learn new things. All in all my daughter is very happy at the nursery and I’m glad she’s not leaving just yet.

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.542)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.542) out of 10 for Little Chimps Day Nursery Wimblebury is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 7 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.988 for Little Chimps Day Nursery Wimblebury is calculated as follows: ( (83 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 84 Ratings = 4.988
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.554 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Little Chimps Day Nursery Wimblebury is based on 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.7
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 41 number of registered child places is 8.2. 7 Positive Reviews ÷ 8.2 = 0.854
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
