Little Impressions Day Nursery

We will be really sorry to leave but we will be back for school holidays.

My eldest has been going here since August 2019. He has developed in ways I could never have imagined. His speech is improving weekly, his knowledge of things surprises me daily and most of all he's found a place he feels safe and secure. He truly loves going and even wants to go on his days off. When I drop him off he runs through the door with the biggest smile. His younger brother will be joining him in September and I have no concerns about him settling in just as well as his older brother. The amazing staff go above and beyond for the children as if they were their own. Thank goodness I listened to my friend who recommended this place to me.

My little girl started at Little Impressions back in September. Prior to this, she went to a couple of settling in sessions. Immediately I felt comfortable leaving her there with the girls. They are so welcoming and reassuring that I knew she would be fine. All the staff make the effort to engage with all the children. I know that my little girl will always be comforted when needed and loved by all the staff there. She absolutely adores going to nursery and is so happy to see the girls when she gets there it is never a struggle to get her to go in. I get regular updates on what she’s getting up to through tapestry and the girls always give an excellent break down of the day when she is collected. I can not recommend enough.

My daughter started going to Little Impressions back in October 2017. I arrived at the nursery and thought "No" that was due to the location but as soon as I entered the nursery and saw the Staff with the kids I knew... "Yes," that's where I will feel comfortable leaving my daughter. She is now after nearly 3 years moving up to reception and I can't thank all of the girls enough for how much you have done for me, looking after my girls, (sometimes I used the holiday club for my older daughter too) teaching, cuddling, changing, feeding, putting to sleep, potty training, storytimes, outdoor fun indoor fun, explaining difficult situations, wiping tears but overall making me feel happy to leave her all day while I had to work. We will miss you all. Thank you.

My daughter started at this nursery about a year ago after the other one shut. Thanks to the care of the staff and stimulating environment of little impressions, she settled in straight away and has absolutely loved going. She has never not wanted to go in the mornings and every day I’ve picked her up, she says she’s had a great day. My younger daughter has also just started and had settled in so well too. The activities are varied and interesting, the staff are so lovely and I feel I can talk to them about anything. The forest school is a particular favourite of my daughter’s. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

We’ve had some unsettling times over the years, through which the manager and her team have not just supported our daughter but for us as a whole family. Personally I cannot thank them enough.

My daughter started at Little Impressions back in May. Obviously, during covid 19 it was a very unsettling time however, the staff are absolutely amazing and they reassured me, my husband and my daughter so much. I feel so comfortable knowing that my daughter is safe and loved by all the staff and they comfort her when needed. She’s settled in so well, they send me pictures regularly via tapestry and I can see what she has been up to and she has come on leaps and bounds and it is them that I have to thank for that. Incredible nursery. Expecting our son in November and can’t wait for him to go also.

As for my daughter, I reckon she would move into the nursery she loves it that much. All the girls have brought her on in all the right ways and listened to what my wishes are as a parent and respected them every step of the way. I would recommend this nursery every single time.

My son has just left this nursery to attend school after 2 and a half years, the nursery is exceptional, he has come on so well and is at a much higher level of learning than my daughter was at this age, having attended a school attached nursery. The staff go above and beyond to make you and your child comfortable, they are very approachable and friendly, it feels more like leaving your child with family or friends than carers. My son has thoroughly enjoyed every moment he has spent there. The forest school has been a firm favourite for him, as he loves to be outside. I will recommend this nursery to anyone who asks.

My daughter has been going to this nursery since January. She settled in straight away, she has come on so much in the past few months since starting. They are flexible with my 2-week rota and I have also needed to change nursery times last minute and they are always very helpful with this! Would definitely recommend! Definitely, know she is safe and settled here.

I highly recommend this nursery, my daughter has attended since 2016. She is always happy to go, staff are very kind and caring, management are very approachable, helpful and accommodating. The nursery is flexible and helps work around your needs always. Lots of different daily activities for the children. It really is a lovely environment.

My daughter has attended the nursery for over 3 years and really enjoys going. The staff are very friendly and good with them. The children always look happy!

I get lots of pictures and updates through tapestry showing me what she’s up to which is really good!

My little girl has been going to Little Impressions since September 2016 and she absolutely loves it! All of the staff have very good relationships with each child making me feel very comfortable leaving my child in their care. They are also extremely good at responding to the child and family's personal needs. I couldn't recommend them enough!

My niece attended this nursery and she loved it, she left in September and still asks if she can go back to play! All the staff are great and the children learn so much each day. I can’t wait for my other niece to start and enjoy exploring.

Very supportive, understanding and are brilliant with my daughter.

My son has attended little impressions since he was 8 months old on a flexible basis due to shift work. The staff are incredibly friendly,professional and supportive and my son is so happy and confident, he loves every minute he spends at nursery. The team are fantastic and I couldn’t be happier leaving him in their care.

Brilliant Nursery my little girl went and loved it and couldn’t wait to go every day. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to sending my other little girl.

Excellent nursery. Very supportive and understanding. Always flexible with hours and days to suit. The best staff ever throughout the whole nursery and management. Very good prices for such good care. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

My son has recently started here and has settled so well. The baby room staff are very reassuring and as a first time Mummy I found it hard to leave him for the first time, but they have put my mind at rest and can call anytime of the day as much as I like without feeling that I am annoying them.

I have had lots of pictures posted on my Tapestry account to see that he is happy and absolutely fine. I find the staff are very friendly and have made us feel welcome from the show around to starting, fantastic communication. Activities are varied and there is always lots of sensory and messy play going on daily. Very happy with the setting and would definitely recommend.
