The nursery and staff have always been very welcoming and caring. The staff make sure my children's safety, happiness and comfort are a priority. My children enjoy attending the nursery and their development has been greatly helped by attending this nursery.
I have had 3 children at Dodford since 2009. I currently have my youngest there who attends full-time. Schoolhouse was recommended to me 8 years ago and that was the best thing that could have happened for my family and I! In all my time there I have never had a single complaint, a single issue with anyone who works there or manages the nursery. The care they have given to my children has been exemplary.
Great overall experience with the nursery, always kept well informed and really like the use of tapestry.
Used this nursery with my eldest child who is five years of age and second time around is still fabulous. Great food provided lots of activities. Really happy.
My daughter has been very settled at School House. She has transitioned from each room with great confidence and independence. She chats in the car all the way home telling me all about her day at nursery. All the staff have catered for her individual needs and helped make her a confident outgoing little girl. The activities and experiences offered to her are fantastic and she thrives from these experiences.

As a first time mother, I plague the staff with what I'm sure most would consider obvious questions. The staff at School House Private Day Nursery are very patient with me and have ensured my son has an educational, fun and challenging start to life. He loves attending nursery and is always pleased when his now moments are recorded and subsequently stuck on our fridge. I love that School House caters for different cultures and celebrates them all.

The staff are all very friendly and caring and I have had no cause for concern for his welfare at any point. As it is a small nursery, everyone knows everyone, (children, staff, parents) and there is a lovely family feel to the place. Each child is made to feel important and their individual personalities are encouraged to be expressed. His development both socially and mentally has been incredible and he is definitely ready for school now even though he has another nine months to go! My son has formed very strong bonds with both the staff and other children who attend and it will be a sad day for all of us when he has to leave to go to school.
I cannot fault this nursery and would definitely recommend it.
