Little Lodge Nursery is an outstanding and multi award winning nursery as rated by OFSTED on 24th November 2021.

Billed as an outdoor nursery in which children benefit from the surrounding landscapes and state of the art equipment including a bespoke forest school.

Little Lodge was rated as Outstanding on 24th November 2021.

Central to the ethos is to provide a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment for all children to play, learn and develop freely. The nursery help children to develop responsibility for themselves and their actions and to become competent, confident, independent and co-operative individuals.

Little Lodge accepts children from as young as 3 months right to pre-school.

Having set the standards high, each room has the benefit of experienced staff who will care for the children and help develop them into the leaders of tomorrow.

Settling children is key to ensuring they feel comfortable and staff don't hold a limit on how long this can take and even provide a home visit by the key person to ensure both parents and children are comfortable knowing who will look after their child when they start.

Excellent nursery, everything you would look for to send your child to without any worry. The staff are all professional and friendly and the facilities available are some of the best I have seen.

Amazing setting. Returning to work can be a very emotional time, but as soon as we visited Little Lodge we thought we were sending our daughter to an extended family. Her key worker was simply fantastic, listening to our needs as a parent and also the needs of our little girl. All the staff are great
and welcoming.
She has experienced such a wide variety of experiences, and is always coming home happy and smiling, on occasions she hasn’t wanted to leave, she’s having that much fun! Tapestry is used so we can see what she has been doing in the day, and I love to get my daily picture.
A lovely outdoor setting where she has fun planting, exploring and being creative, and it’s great to know that the outdoors is used daily.
Happy girl = happy Mummy and Daddy.

A great family environment and certainly a home away from home where my son has been developing incredibly well since the age of six months. The staff provide a nurturing and caring environment for the children to learn, and they are continuously pushing my son to get the best out of him. They have
always provided my son with a range of activities from baking blackberry crumbles from the fruit they pick on walks to celebrating all the wonderful festivals. The best start for my son's education. Thank you!
