The Nursery and Pre-School at Tettenhall College is for children aged 2 and above.

Set within 33-acres of stunning grounds in the picturesque village of Tettenhall, children have an exceptional start to their learning journey.

The facilities are first rate and completely unrivaled in the local area. Learners enjoy enriching experiences across the school's extensive campus.

From weekly woodland walks in Forest School and story time in the beautiful library, to performing on stage in the historic Victorian theatre and swimming lessons for pre-school children in the onsite indoor pool, children are immersed in a dynamic learning environment.

Each child benefits from a carefully curated development profile, enabling teachers to tailor learning experiences within a warm, nurturing, family-focused environment.

Teachers work closely with parents to ensure they can follow their child’s development through real-time updates via the Tapestry app, parent workshops and parents’ evenings.

Children follow a traditional yet flexible curriculum.

Reading is a core part of the day, fostering a love for books from the very beginning. Children also follow the same maths and phonics schemes as the rest of the school and enjoy lessons in the music room.

The Nursery offers wraparound care including a breakfast club and a holiday club, ensuring flexibility for families beyond term time.

Our daughter, has been attending Tettenhall College nursery since she was 2. Since she has started, we've seen such a positive difference. From her speech to her confidence. The nursery setting is an engaging space with plentiful outdoor facilities, most notably the forestry setting which nursery take

My son started here just after Easter and he has settled in brilliantly well. The teachers are great at building independence but also being a reassuring face or hug if needed. My son does 5 days a week and it means I can work freely without having to worry about him or the care he receives.
The extra
curricular offering is also brilliant. I would absolutely recommend this nursery.

We couldn't be happier with our daughter's experience at Tettenhall College pre-school. From the very first day, it was clear that this is a place filled with warmth, care, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.


The teachers and staff have created such a nurturing and supportive environment,

where our daughter has not only felt safe and loved but also encouraged to grow and explore. Every morning she has been excited to go to school, and every afternoon she comes home full of stories, songs, and new things she's learned.


Academically, she has made wonderful progress-recognising letters, numbers, and even beginning to write her name with confidence. But more importantly, she's developed strong social skills, empathy, and a real love of learning. The curriculum strikes the perfect balance between structured activities and creative, play.

My 2-year-old son absolutely thrives at this nursery. From day one, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive, making the transition smooth for both him and us as parents. The environment is nurturing, safe, and filled with opportunities for play, learning, and development.


The

team go above and beyond to create engaging activities each day - I'm always impressed by the creativity and care that goes into everything they do. He comes home happy, confident, and full of new words, songs, and stories.


Communication is excellent too - we receive regular updates and photos that give us real insight into his day. It's clear how much the staff genuinely care about the children, and that makes all the difference.


We honestly couldn't ask for a better start to his early years. Highly recommend!

Our son started in nursery as soon as he was two, and he has progressed through pre school in to the prep school. We selected Tettenhall College based upon 'feel'; it promotes and practices a family environment, focusing upon each child as an individual, tailoring the learning experience to match their
ability. Whilst our son only did three days per week during the early years phase, the staff in pre school worked with him one-to-one to ensure that he did not miss any crucial elements of the informal curriculum. He has been able to build upon those foundations and has thrived as he has moved through the school. The theme based learning - including visits to the local fire station and visits from the local police force - was a particular highlight for our son. The facilities are exemplary - clean, well equipped and well organised, and the setting provides for special Forest School activities.

Tettenhall College nursery is a wonderful nursery. From the moment we took our daughter for her settling in day she absolutely loved it, she was always smiling and it lives up to it's ethos of being a family school. All the staff are wonderful and we had complete confidence that she was looked after.
The facilities are excellent, the nursery setting allows the children to explore indoor and outdoor play area safely and they then have access to the amazing forest and grounds. Our daughter progressed through to prep school where she is now and still has a smile every day.

What an amazing experience my son has had here. He started in prep a very shy and quiet boy who could barely speak. In the space of 2 years I now have a confident little boy who has an incredible imagination. The pastoral care is exceptional here and they truly get the best out of your child. The trips,

Outstanding Preschool Experience at Tettenhall College.
My granddaughter started at Tettenhall College in Preschool Year 2 this September after previously attending another school in Wolverhampton. We moved her because the class sizes were too large, and the school wasn't meeting her needs. Moving
her to Tettenhall College has been the best decision. In just a short time, she has made remarkable progress. The teachers are kind, caring and attentive, ensuring every child reaches their full potential. Extra support is quickly identified, and a plan is put in place. The school offers fantastic opportunities, including Forest School, swimming and music classes. Most importantly, smaller class sizes and a well-structured curriculum create an environment where children truly thrive. A strong early education is vital and many families here make sacrifices to give their children the best start. We couldn't be happier with our choice and highly recommend this school.

My son went through this nursery and is now in the Prep school at Tettenhall. He had the most incredible time, his key worker and the rest of the team couldn't do enough for him. The grounds are amazing and the fact he got to use them all was great. I've not come across another nursery with a swimming
pool before, he loved those sessions the most. I would 100% recommend this nursery.

My daughter loves attending Tettenhall Nursery, not only has she developed her social skills but their diverse weekly topics and variety of activities including forest school and PE means she is kept active physically and mentally. The nursery staff are great, they create a friendly welcoming environment,
encouraging independence and supporting the children through one-on-one and group activities. I will certainly be sending my son here when he is older.
