This is a brilliant day nursery and we could not be happier with the love, support, kindness and compassion that have been shown to both our children during their time at the nursery. I've noticed that both my children have really developed in their speech and communication skills through the activities
that nursery provide and it has helped them be confident and resilient individuals who can thrive in this home away from home. They know how to share and include others in play, how to keep going when something is tough and to always been keen and curious to try new things. The staff have such a great eye for detail and really get to know the children and the parents on a personal level to really provide tailored care and support to individual needs. Little Sunflowers comes highly recommended by our family - we are so grateful for all all the staff have done.

My previous son attended Sunflowers from September 2021-August 2025 and flourished here. He was so loved and cared for by staff. We then had our twin boys in December 2024 and although we have nurseries closer to home, we've still chosen Little Sunflowers for them. They have been attending since November
2025 and always come out with the biggest smiles on their faces. The love and care they receive is second to none. The staff are so attentive and make our mornings brighter with their warm welcomes. I can go to work and not have to worry about the boys as we receive regular updates on the app on what they've eaten, how much sleep they've had and activities they've done. I've recommended this nursery to many people and honestly can't ask for a better group of caregivers. It really is the best nursery.

Little sunflowers is a wonderful nursery. My child is really happy there. They have a weekly curriculum and make sure each child is very well cared for. We feel our daughter is safe, secure and happy in their care. We get updates on how she is progressing each week as well as comprehensive daily handovers.
They really made a big effort to settle her in well and she has thrived socially, developmentally and emotionally. She is really excited to go to nursery and loves meeting her key workers and the staff. All the staff and management have learned her name and know her well, which is a lovely reassuring touch.

They are supportive and flexible with different diets and try to cater to individual requirements in every respect.

Management are always super friendly and approachable and will always try to support us as best as possible.

The app is easy and allows us to communicate well with the nursery.

We are so happy with Sunflowers and are happy to recommend them to everyone.

We were recommend Sunflowers by family and friends whose children have attended and I can't recommend this nursery enough. Our girls have been there over 5 months starting in the baby room and are now in Tweenies 1. The staff are so attentive, their days are packed with so many activities and the food
they have is varied and plentiful. I am updated throughout the day on the App and feel so reassured. Every member of the team is friendly and welcoming. The level of care and attention put into their weekly curriculum and seasonal decor across the nursery on special times of the year is amazing. We have art work the girls have made weekly and over Christmas we got a pack of crafts they did as well as a Christmas Eve bag full of goodies for the girls included a bauble with their photo in which is such a thoughtful thing for parents. I am so lucky to have such an amazing place for my girls to attend!

My daughter absolutely loves going to Little Sunflowers. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and my daughter has built strong relationships with them. I am so grateful for the loving care my daughter receives when she attends the nursery and will forever be grateful to the staff for helping my daughter
develop not just academically but socially too. The nursery send updates via their app so it's lovely to see what activities my daughter is getting up to throughout her week. I would 100% recommend Little Sunflowers to any parent looking for a nursery for their children.

Little Sunflowers has been absolutely amazing for my children. The staff are incredible. So caring, kind, friendly, and always professional. I have complete peace of mind knowing my children are safe, happy and looked after.
They've built lovely relationships with their key workers and other staff
members, which has really helped them settle in. In the short time they've been at Sunflowers, they've developed in so many areas. They go in happily each morning and come out in the evening with huge smiles on their faces, which says it all.
Management are fantastic too. I haven't had any issues, but I know that if anything ever did come up, I could approach them confidently and it would be handled quickly and professionally. All the staff are friendly, approachable, and so invested in the children's wellbeing. They have been great with my children's dairy intolerance too, which takes away a massive worry for me.
Honestly, I couldn't be happier.

I've had 3 children at Sunflowers and I wouldn't send them anywhere else. Leaving my eldest daughter with strangers was the hardest thing I've ever done, but the staff at Sunflowers made the experience easier than I thought it would be and made the best bonds with L, and reassured and comforted her
through initial upset. I couldn't fault anything, from the food and meals to the activities, but honestly, the staff became our friends and the relationship with all three of my children has been amazing! They love the time they spend at nursery, have developed skills and friendships with children and staff that they love, and as parents it is so important to know our children are taken such great care of throughout the early years, settling them up for when they start school so they can thrive there too! Would absolutely and whole heartedly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery for their children.

Our daughter has been attending Little Sunflowers since she was 9 months. It has been great seeing her grow up and learning so quick. Sunflowers is a brilliant nursery. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They are so professional, caring and the support is great. My daughter loves it here.
They follow the curriculum and it goes to show in my daughters attitude and speaking. The activities they do to develop the children is great. I love going to the parents day which shows how we get included.

I had recommendations of this nursery from various friends whose children still talk about their time there, years later. Our daughter has been at Little Sunflowers for two years and is absolutely thriving here.

She has a great relationship with many of the staff, frequently comes home talking about

her day and different interactions involving both staff & friends. She really enjoys the extra curricular activities, particular the coach led sessions with football and bat and ball. Most importantly she looks forward to going.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming, we know we made the right decision in choosing here.

The staff at Sunflowers are caring, compassionate and have made real connections with my daughter (and my son who will still visit them on pick up, even though he is now at school). They've always been friendly and personable.
The range of activities - from role play, arts and dancing to writing,
counting and sports is brilliant and she loves spending her days with you.
We enjoy going through the artwork she brings home, pictures uploaded from the day and her 'best thing' of the day. She's equally keen to tell me to take pictures so she can show nursery!
She's confident and curious and we thank you for your ongoing support in her development and care.

I cannot recommend little sunflowers nursery enough! My daughter has been going there for over 3 years and she has grown and developed so much. The staff are so caring and I feel so happy knowing my daughter is being taken care of and she feels safe there. I have already registered for my son to join
in a few months as well. Every key person my daughter has had throughout the different stages have been amazing (as well as all the other staff in the rooms and management). I am not sure who is going to miss the nursery more our daughter or me and my husband.

Our son has been at Sunflower Day Nursery for four wonderful years and is now moving on to Reception. We are incredibly grateful for the love, care, and support he received from day one. He's built beautiful relationships with his key workers and friends, and the nurturing environment has helped him
grow into a confident, happy child.
Our daughter also joined recently and has already settled in well and enjoys every day. The staff are warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to each child's development.
Sunflower has been a second home for our children, and we can't thank the team enough for the amazing start they've given them.

Little Sunflowers has been a part of my life for the past 8 yrs with my eldest & now youngest attending. I'm so grateful for the amazing team - they are what make it so special!
From the front office to the key workers in every room - they all make you feel so reassured, and knowing that your child
is in the safest and most caring hands means so much (especially on those days filled with 'mum guilt'). It's clear how much effort they all put into making every day fun, nurturing and special for the children just by seeing how happy my little one is at the end of the day!
The way the team communicate with parents is second to none too - always professional, thoughtful, and attentive. It's the little details, the warm welcomes, and the genuine care that really show how much they go above and beyond.
I feel so lucky that my children have had the chance to learn & grow in such a special environment with such a lovely team around them - I would highly recommend Little Sunflowers to all!

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.928)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.928) out of 10 for Little Sunflowers Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 23 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 23 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.928 for Little Sunflowers Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (256 Excellents x 5) + (20 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 276 Ratings = 4.928
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Little Sunflowers Nursery is based on 23 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 105 number of registered child places is 21, which has been reached with 23 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
