I would just love to say I've been using this nursery for many years now, and it's really really good. The staff are super friendly and approachable and my children have all loved going there, they all graduate to school from this nursery as it's the best place to be. My little girl still goes there and she loves every day she attends. Well done everyone there.

Really good nursery I could not have picked a better nursery for my son and now currently my daughter. The staff are all so understanding and tailored to each individual child’s needs. My daughter who is nearly three has some challenging times and I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart these girls are better than anyone with her and they genuinely love all the children for who and what they are. They were absolutely amazing with my son also I feel nobody could have ever done the job any better. These girls go above and beyond to help the children develop and they as a nursery are very organised and hands-on. There is nobody else I could ever trust with my children they are not only a five-star nursery but they have five-star staff and qualities. Thank you Mereside for your continued support with my daughter. The best nursery ever.

It’s a lovely environment, with lots of outdoor space and horses to view in the fields at the back of the nursery too!

My daughter started Mereside when she was 2 and has just finished pre-school to start school. There hasn’t been a single day where she has said she didn’t want to go to nursery. She has loved her time at Mereside and has grown and developed into a confident little girl. My 17 month old son is also at the nursery and settled in so well and the staff are all lovely. I have also recommended the nursery to a friend and her little boy will be starting in the baby room shortly.

My eldest daughter has been happy at Mereside for 2 years and my youngest has started there recently and settled in so well. The staff are always so friendly, there is a family feel to the nursery. I never feel rushed if I want to talk to a staff member about one of my daughters and email/app communications have always been good. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Very happy with this nursery. Our daughter has attended since she was 8 months old and has just turned 3. The staff are lovely and helpful and it’s clear they only want the best for the children. My daughter has really thrived and developed during her time at Mereside, and I’m sure she’ll continue to do so during her final year there. It’ll be a sad day when she leaves to go to school!

Our little girl started at Mereside at 9 months and with sadness, due to moving had to leave just after her third birthday. She's a clever, confident, cheeky, and happy little one in no small way due to the setting, staff, and whole nursery experience she has had. The communication was always good and we never had any cause for concern. COVID was handled as well as anywhere could have been done. Highly recommended. I miss taking her there already.

Five star all round and has restored my faith.

My daughter has literally skipped into school every day and absolutely loves it at Mereside. The teachers and staff are always friendly and clearly love each and every child in their care. This is evident in the natural way they interact with them on a daily basis. They are always happy to help if you have even the slightest concern and have made my whole family feel welcome. Even my mother loves collecting my daughter so she can have the odd chinwag. I assure you if you choose Mereside Farm Nursery, your child will flourish.

My girls also developed on every level and excelled at all they did. They loved going, the staff treated them as their own and the care and education is second to none. It was by pure luck I discovered the nursery and feel so blessed that my girls got to spend their nursery and preschool time here. Thank you to the manager and all the wonderful, devoted staff there for your wonderful care and dedication to my family which made the transition so much easier and enabled them to get through the turbulent time in their young lives.

Our child has been attending Mereside since she was 14 months old and we love this nursery because staff have a secure understanding of how to protect children which is underpinned by strict policies and procedure. From the very start, the level of attention she has received has been amazing and staff in the baby room have been very helpful and attentive which was very important to us in the early days of settling in. Our child has thrived in this very well-resourced nursery and makes rapid progress in all areas of learning and development due to the well-planned activities and enthusiasm provided by staff. Also, we feel that our child has become a very confident communicator as a result of the excellent teaching and support provided by all staff. I particularly like, that the nursery is located at a fairly unique and great location – from the playground, the children can see grazing horses and other animals.

Our boy has been attending Mereside Farm Children's Nursery since he was 10 months old and despite all the concern and trepidation, one has when choosing and then having them start nursery we have never had a single cause for concern. From the very start the level of attention he received has been wonderful, all the staff so attentive especially those in the baby room in those early days of settling in. This has continued through however and he is now a happy active member of the Tweenies group. I cannot fault the staff, the facilities or the lovely environment - semi-rural and away from busy roads is brilliant for both health and safety.

The staff all seem prepared to go that step beyond, all made it into work in the recent heavy snow and even helped dig me out of the car park!

In short, if you live locally why on earth would you send your child anywhere else?

I have put both of my children in Mereside Farm over the last 5 years. Both have thoroughly enjoyed the nursery. They settled in well and developed through the years there. The staff are outstanding and supported the children through each stage. I have recommended friends to Mereside who have also been happy with their child's progress. It sets them up ready for school, showing confidence and a good basic understanding for school life. I would recommend Mereside to any parent.

He is now in Tweenies and he loves it. Once a week they have a dance/music class which he adores. The facilities at the nursery are fantastic. The outside area inspires little one's imagination. I would definitely recommend this nursery and the lovely staff.

The staff are fantastic- kind, friendly, approachable and great fun. Having got to know my son,l they have planned activities specifically for him based on his interests.

Every session he attends nursery he has great fun and is well cared for. The food is lovely, nutritious and homemade, my son regularly has seconds!

I was keen to find a nursery which also enhanced my son’s learning and as a teacher, it was a pretty tall order. I’m so impressed with the quality of the planned learning activities. I can really see how these are activities are developing his skills in all areas.

My daughter's social skills have come on leaps and bounds since joining the nursery and her confidence is brilliant. She also gets to experience things at the nursery she wouldn't always manage to do at home with me, recently they have been playing with shadows and ice painting. The outdoor area is lovely, being surrounded by the countryside and horses allowing the children the chance to explore.

She has made lots of friends and is always telling me all the fun things she has done at the nursery, she is always excited when she realises it's nursery day. I can't recommend this nursery enough.

Lastly, the care shown by the girls, is simply second to none and we thank you again.

Both of my sons go to Mereside Farm. My eldest has been going since he was a little over a year and is currently in preschool, my youngest has been going since he was 7 months and is currently in the baby room. They both love it, spending lots of time outside and playing/dancing. I could see the difference in my children socially very early. It’s a wonderful nursery with brilliant staff and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for childcare. My eldest heads to school in September and I know he’ll be very sad to go!

After moving my son to this nursery we no longer have tears, he loves it! From his phasing in sessions to the parent update app, it’s great! Staff are so lovely here!

My son has been attending Mereside Farm Children's Nursery just over a year now (from the age of 1) and it’s the best thing I ever did for him. Although he doesn’t attend full time, the progress he has made with this nursery has been incredible. His favourite thing at the moment is the dance class he does on a Tuesday and we have to listen to him singing “head, shoulders, knee’s and toes” all night long!

The setting of the nursery is beautiful and my son loves to see the horses in the fields when I drop him in the morning. They really promote the outdoors and have multiple outdoor areas for the children to play – this is one thing that appealed to me the most.

He’s a difficult child to leave with anyone other than his parents but he has really bonded with members of staff here. They are all so kind and considerate and always smiling! ! I would 100% recommend this nursery and can’t thank them enough for what they’ve done for my son.
