Kids Planet Mereside Farm

Staff are friendly, communication is great, facilities are brilliant. I feel like my son is striving here. His development seems to be well ahead of what you expect for his age group. It would be even better if there was a term time only option.

I have had 2 children go through Mereside Farm Nursery during their early years and am so grateful for their patience and care of our children. In a short space of time the staff really got to know both of our children and built strong relationships with them. My daughter who is now at school still speaks fondly about her time at nursery and my son who is in Tweenies is always chatting about the fun he has there. Both of my children took time to settle into nursery and the staff gave them the utmost patience and were so encouraging. For us as parents we had the reassurance of knowing our children were in safe and capable hands, which made the whole settling in process so much easier. The nursery is tucked away in such a quiet and green location that it really feels like the children benefit from so much nature when they go to nursery. It's great to know the children have opportunities to play outside whenever possible and spend so much time outdoors.

My daughter has been going to Mereside since she was 2 (she's almost 4 now). She is currently in the pre-school room and has settled in fabulously and has made some lovely friends. The teachers in this room are full of enthusiasm which in turn rubs off on the children. There appears to be a wide range of activities for the kids to get stuck into and the app updates during the day are a welcome reminder of what my daughter is getting up to. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery and I know my daughter will miss it when she's leaves in August.

What truly makes the nursery so special though are all the fantastic staff who create such a wonderful environment. I am always so grateful to know my daughter is having such a wonderful experience every day.

My daughter is full time in the preschool room. Three particular staff members are wonderful, my daughter looks forward to coming to nursery and is coming on leaps and bounds! All the staff are lovely and attentive and it feels like an extended part of the family! Thanks Mereside!

My daughter attended Kids Planet Mereside from 10 months old until she was 4 and I cannot express how fantastic the staff are and how lovely this nursery is. The care they provide is unmatched, and I never had any complaints. My daughter would run into nursery in the morning with a big smile on her face and not look back. The staff that were there when my daughter started are still there now 3 years on, which speaks volumes, staff and children are happy and content at Mereside. The location is beautiful and I cannot recommend it enough! We will be back in the future!

Our daughter moved to Kids Planet Mereside when she was 2 years old. We can't praise enough Mereside for all the care, love, time and effort they have put into making her the curious, adventurous and more importantly, healthy and kind little girl she has become. Moving to a new setting was such an important decision that we didn't take lightly, so we were absolutely delighted to confirm that this was the right place for her to be until ready for big school. All very well-experienced staff, with fabulous on-site catering (this was a critical decision point for us) makes you feel completely confident that your kids are in the best hands. We could track her development via the regular app updates as well as in-person meetings we had. If you're having second thoughts about what nursery to get your children to, think no more and rest assured you won't be disappointed with Mereside. This is by far the best nursery in the area without a hint of a doubt!

My daughter has been going to Mereside since she was 7 months old, she is now 2 years old. She has just moved from the baby room through to tweenies. The whole time spent at Mereside, I do not have a bad word to say about the nursery, they have really helped my daughter progress and are so informative and keep you updated throughout their days there. The location is great, lovely and rural so they can explore outside! Overall a great experience so far.

nursery staff are lovely and I feel confident leaving my daughter in their care. They seem genuinely happy for her when she makes progress and share the activities she has done during the day when I pick her up. They also did not hesitate when I asked them to make a special card from my daughter for my mom's 70th birthday. I would be happy to recommend the nursery to other parents.

My little girl has been going to Mereside since October last year, and she absolutely loves nursery. We moved her from a different nursery due to lots of changes in staff and just general poor care. We couldn't be happier with the decision to move her; she is thriving at Mereside. The staff are consistent and all very passionate about their jobs; it feels as though they know your child as an individual rather than just a number. I would highly recommend Mereside to any parents!

My son attended Mereside in 2019 from nine months to school age, and my 2-year-old daughter now attends Mereside too. Such a lovely team from owners to the nursery staff. I have always found all staff lovely and never had any issues in my five years using them as a childcare provider, communication has always been great. Also, lovely setting surrounded by nature and animals!

My child has thrived at Mereside Farm and is completely ready for school. He loves attending and is happy with his friends, activities, and ‘teachers’. My child has multiple life threatening allergies, and the care Mereside Farm has taken has made leaving him less stressful. Their communication has been wonderful and we have worked as a team to keep him safe.

Lovely nursery with fantastic friendly staff. My daughter has really thrived in the baby room and has come on leaps and bounds development-wise since starting at 9 months old. My child enjoys attending and is always full of smiles for the staff. She eats so well whilst there which is great as she was previously a fussy eater! The outside space is amazing and feels like it’s right in the countryside.

I would highly recommend Mereside Nursery and Preschool to any prospective parent and family looking for childcare options for their son or daughter. The staff are exemplary in their care, compassion and professionalism and my son has thrived in their care. He has enjoyed a variety of fun and educational activities and is always treated with respect; his voice counts. A parent could not go wrong entrusting their child to Meresides care.

My daughter has just finished her time at Mereside Farm Children's Nursery after being there since she had just turned 1. We have been delighted with the care she has been shown, especially at the beginning when she took some time to settle. I always felt the staff gave her the time she needed and were so reassuring to myself, letting me contact them as many times as I needed to see how she was. I was never made to feel a nuisance, and the staff were happy to talk to you. Mereside Farm Children's Nursery has provided my daughter with so many fantastic, fun and engaging learning experiences, and she has made wonderful progress over the time she has been there. The communication at the nursery has been very good, with regular daily updates via the parenting app and verbal feedback at the end of the day if needed as well. The communication from management has also been excellent, particularly evident during the Covid pandemic. The nursery is very well run, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

My daughter has been going to Mereside Farm Children's Nursery since she was 9 months old, she is about to leave for primary school now and I can not thank the staff enough over the last 4 years. They are all very friendly and keep you informed about everything. I have always felt safe leaving my daughter in their care. The nursery itself is beautiful, there is alot of outdoor space and the children love to help plant vegetables, play on the bikes or run around on the grass. The menu is varied and they encourage healthy eating (but also allow treats). The staff always encourage the children in everything. My daughter loves reading and writing and the staff have always made time to help her with this. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

In short, I’d recommend Mereside to anyone looking for a loving, nurturing environment to send their little ones to.
