Busy Little Bees day nursery is located in Shirley, Solihull. It is easily accessible by car or on foot and is moments from the Haslucks Green Road bus stops.

Each child has a dedicated key person to monitor their progress, development and care.

The children are grouped by age. Bumble Bees, for babies aged up to 24 months, provides a sensory environment with activities such as stories, singing and messy play. Babies also have outdoor play and a cosy sleeping area.

The Honey Bees room, for children aged 24 to 36 months, is where children begin to expand their imagination with messy play, creating things with play dough, sand and water. At the nursery, children get involved in role-play, learn about nature and enjoy free-flow play into the multi-sensory garden.

Busy Bees is for children aged 30 to 36 months. They learn about nature and cooking while enjoying messy play and plenty of outdoor activities in the Busy Bees garden. Adjacent to this is the Honey Pot room, the pre-school area for children aged from 40 months to five years. In preparation for school life, the team follow the EYFS framework to build each child’s independence and imagination, as well as their communication and social, physical and emotional development.

My child has been at the nursery for a few months now and is really enjoying it. The feedback we get daily from the team is always detailed and positive. Since starting nursery he has developed some excellent skills, including perfecting his crawling and he has learned how to share. We could not ask

Busy Little Bees Shirley is a very caring and amazing setting. Their manager and all the staff go above and beyond to ensure children have a great time. My little one is always very excited to go to nursery and staff are always on hand to make sure he has the most fun and productive day. I love how
there is always a theme in the rooms to reflect seasons and their stage of learning. They were kind enough to order some sensory toys to help engage my little one further and help with his learning. They always take feedback from parents and always update parents on how their children are getting on. Everyone is always happy to help and so kind. Very lucky to have found this setting and very happy with everything so far indeed!

Wonderful nursery and staff. The best thing we ever did for our daughter was send her to Busy Little Bees, wish we had sent her sooner. Our daughter loves the nursery and has built great relationships with the staff. They're kind, caring and nurturing.

My son hasn’t been at nursery very long but since he has started at this nursery, he has gained a lot of confidence. They have helped him learn new things. The staff are amazing, very reassuring and help him with his needs.

Cannot fault this nursery - in the last 12 months I have seen my son thrive, becoming a social and independent boy thanks to the staff. March has seen lots of activities for the children to really learn and have fun. I have nothing bad to say about this nursery and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it

My little boy loves this nursery and can’t wait to go in every day. The staff are amazing and I’ve never had any concerns. The prices are reasonable compared with other nurseries in the area. I recommend this nursery.

The team are absolutely amazing. My little girl has thrived going to this nursery. She is so happy and settled and I never have a problem dropping her off, she just goes and grabs her breakfast! They always try and accommodate if you need an extra session and are brilliant if you need a bit of advice.
So happy with this nursery! Go, team!

I have two children who attend in babies and preschool and both rooms are filled with the kindest, friendliest staff, who I feel so comfortable leaving my children with. The things that my eldest is learning is crazy and I'm so impressed with the wide variety of topics they cover.

A lovely nursery! My little one enjoys playing and learning various subjects. She has a good relationship with the staff. The staff are friendly and update the diary regularly so we can see what my child has eaten and been up to. They also give the time at pick up, to update us on her day. Can't fault

I have always been hesitant in sending my children to nurseries, but to my surprise, Busy Little Bees really helped make life easy! They really supported and helped my little one settle in really quickly, and he is so happy attending! All staff are great, friendly and approachable, and any issues/concerns
are dealt with effectively and professionally. I am so happy to have discovered this nursery so close to home. Thank you, Busy Little Bees; my little one has gained so much confidence and independence whilst going here.

Fantastic nursery and great staff. My little girl started when she was 17 months old. It took her a couple of months to settle, which I was expecting, given that up until then she was always with me. The staff in the baby room were so patient and supportive during those difficult months, but it wasn't
long before my little one was happily walking in independently. It's a lovely environment for children to learn in and the staff (throughout the nursery) are friendly and always happy to help. Really pleased I chose this nursery for my little girl and am hugely grateful to all the staff for making it such a happy place for her to spend her time.

Busy Little Bees is a lovely nursery. Our 3-year-old daughter started in September 2021 and is very happy and settled there. Since attending, her confidence has increased immensely and she is thriving in all areas of her development. She talks about the staff, the friends she has made and the activities
she has undertaken. She has recently started going to forest school, which she loves and whilst this is educational, it allows her to play, explore and discover nature in the outdoor environment. She very much looks forward to the hot chocolate the staff bring for them! The staff are friendly, supportive and encouraging and they communicate well with parents. Our 2-year-old is due to start next week and whilst she's never been away from us, I am confident that she will settle with the friendly staff. I would highly recommend the nursery. Thank you for all the hard work you do for our children!

Really happy with the experience of the nursery.
Before we felt as though not much was been relayed back to us regarding the day but this has got a lot better

I couldn't be more pleased with the nursery. I’ve had children attending for the last four years and I’ve seen it grow to the excellent setting it is today. The staff put the children first and foremost and that shows when I pick my children up at the end of the day.

The staff keep me regularly informed of the progress of my child on a daily basis. With the removal of restrictions, they have still ensured the safety of all children is maintained 100%.
All 4 of my children have attended the nursery and their progress and development have been incredible throughout
the rooms they have moved through and all their needs have always been catered for. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

The staff are super friendly. They accommodate my children at the nursery. My boys love going to nursery and have a very strong bond with their key teacher. The nursery has a very clean atmosphere and every time I've been, I've seen the children are well looked after.
