Rocking Horse Kindergarten - Coventry

My son has been at the nursery for almost a year, I was so emotional about leaving him, they have always kept me updated and sent photos to assure me he was ok, one day I left crying and was called before I reached work to make sure I was ok and let me know my son was happily having breakfast. My son now gets out the car really excited runs in, has hugs for all the nursery staff. You can see how much he loves them and they love him. The manager always goes above and beyond, she always has time for a chat, she always promptly deals with any enquiries. I feel so comfortable leaving my son in her care. She's extremely down-to-earth and understanding. The nursery plays a huge part in our lives, not only caring for my son while I work but as a support network with advice and tips. Honestly would be lost without them! And they open from 7am!

We could recommend all the ladies here enough. Genuinely.

Being a first-time mum, I was apprehensive about leaving my daughter but knowing she has been in great hands gives me peace of mind.

By far the best nursery! All staff are absolutely amazing with all the children, both my children have been there since babies and they love being there, I wouldn’t have them in any other hands apart from this fantastic team!

The staff are so attentive and they involve parents with activities. The baby room is exceptionally creative, my daughter absolutely loves attending and has amazing bonds with all the staff. They have beautiful grounds, with a lot of outdoor play incorporated into the learning styles. They also have a woodland area where the children can explore. The food is cooked fresh daily and they fully accommodate my daughter's dietary requirements! The nursery have an app that updates me daily with nappy changes, nap times, food intake and pictures. It also shows me the learning styles and milestones my child goes through! They accommodate my child’s additional needs and nothing is ever a problem; if I’m running late, stuck in traffic, or need an extra day, they support me. This is an outstanding nursery, I would highly recommend to any parent looking to place their baby into a nursery! They really make me feel part of the team and I feel they love my child as if she was their own!

I sent my daughter here as she was very unsettled in a local nursery and I was recommended Rocking Horse. I was a bit scared due to my daughter being so unsettled and wasn't sure how she shall cope. But I'm so happy that I sent her here. This was the best thing for her. She loves the staff and they love her back so much. She totally adores three members in particular. The manager is brilliant, she reassured me in every way and helped in every step, and met all my needs. The staff are an asset I can't thank them enough, they are all brilliant. I don't think my little girl wants to leave now, you have totally pampered her. If I could leave more than 5 star I would.

And now my grandson goes to where his mum went. Couldn’t ask for better care. Still the same nursery owner and staff are still so caring and informative. What can I say, a five-star nursery with activities and routines to keep my grandson motivated and learning. Highly recommend this place.

I could not recommend this nursery enough! My son has been attending Rocking Horse Kindergarten since around 6 months of age and has a great relationship with all of the staff and really enjoys attending nursery. They have been excellent at meeting all of my sons dietary needs from the change to lactose free and now soya products there was always products available for him the very next day. They also send you updates and photos throughout the day to see what activities your little one has been up to which is lovely and very reassuring when you're at work!

I sent my son here for a week. The first couple of days were fine, everything suddenly went downhill. My son had only been there one week and they expected my son to tell them when he needed a toilet. I was told he was told off as he ran into the hallway. I think he was trying to go to the toilet as he'd seen other kids go but was told to go back into the room. After that, I went to pick him up and I was told I was late a few times. I said I'd speak to the manager where I said I have an 18month old baby which takes me 2 minutes to get out of the car as well to collect my son. The manager stated maybe I should leave earlier. I have a live location and times saved on my phone that show I was on the grounds 10 to 15 minutes early but as the staff open the door late I was waiting outside, then to be told by one member of staff I need to pick my son up on time. The observation of my son was also incorrect. They stated he did not know his ABC or numbers. He is very passionate about his learning, if only they spent time with him.

Our little girl attended a childminder previous to this but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to find alternative childcare and I am so glad we found this nursery. She is very happy there, has settled in well and all staff are so positive and welcoming. It has only been 1 month since she started and already I am out at ease that this is the perfect place for her.

My son was at a different nursery since he was 9 months old, and anytime I had a concern, it was met with 'we aren't concerned, all kids develop at different rates', but I knew he had a speech delay. Once he turned 3, the setting SENCO set targets that he was meeting, only for me told by the manager to find a different setting. It was a blessing in disguise to have to find another nursery.

Rockinghorse Kindergarten have gone above and beyond caring for my son. Every single staff member has a caring and professional nature. The setting SENCO has made sure everything is in place for my son to succeed and I have already noticed a huge increase in his vocabulary since joining. He is met every morning with so much love and affection, which is such a reassuring feeling.

I would recommend this nursery to anyone. Everything that they do has the children's wellbeing at the forefront.

Since my daughter has been at nursery she has developed so much! She loves going every week and she is always so happy when she is there, the facilities are amazing and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I get regular updates while shes there and it is so comforting knowing that she is looked after so well, it is always clean and I am very happy with the way the nursery is run!

My daughter started nursery as a baby and she absolutely loves going to nursery every day, she's now almost 3. From baby room to toddlers and now in Pre-School, my daughter has learnt and developed so much. She sees the staff as family and even at the weekend she asks can I go to nursery! She especially enjoys messy play and all the outside space. We get daily updates on an app and photos of development. The nursery catered really well for keyworkers during the Covid pandemic. They continue to work their socks off providing the best care. I am so happy I chose Rocking Horse Kindergarten for my daughter. I definitely recommend.

My son has only attended the nursery for a few months but the staff have been brilliant. They offer a great range of activities both inside and out. The menu of food is really varied and lots of opportunities for children to be creative. All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. Keep you up to date with my child's progress and are flexible to suit his needs.

Overall, this nursery is excellent. My daughter comes home every day with a smile on her face and she is developing really well for her age. The food on site is cooked fresh and she loves every meal and has gained a great appetite since. I am very happy with this nursery and would recommend to anyone.

This nursery was the best out of the other 3 nurseries that I visited. The manager was very nice and was able to answer all the questions that I asked. In each room I looked at, I was very pleased and felt welcomed. Instantly I knew that this was the nursery for my daughter.
