Wylde Green Day Nursery, located in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, offers a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children, with a strong sense of community and a focus on the Reggio Emilia learning approach.

The purpose-built nursery has an open plan setting that provides ample space and natural light, allowing children to freely explore and engage in child-led activities with the support of qualified and passionate staff. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

I could not speak more highly of a nursery - Wylde Green Nursery is the perfect setting for my child. The staff are so welcoming, friendly, caring and professional. You can tell that the children are all comfortable around staff members and feel that they are able to approach them for help, comfort,
and for fun too. The setting itself is mostly open plan which allows children to explore and identify which activities they would like to participate in. There's a nursery app which provides updates on the children including what they have eaten, when they've had nappy changes, sleep times, and photos of what they have been doing which is always so helpful and nice to see. The activities for the children seem so varied and help them to learn a whole range of skills - there's painting, drawing, sticking, running, climbing, bikes, blocks, balls, cars, coloured lights, shapes, different outfits etc. The meals are always healthy and varied too. I thoroughly recommend this nursery.

All of the staff are so friendly with our son. They try and encourage his learning and that is evident through the app, what he brings home and what we observe when picking him up. He has a stubborn nature and they have attempted a variety of learning methods. The staff are all very personable, engaging
and supportive with us as parents too. They are always on hand with any queries or areas of support. Would recommend the nursery to anyone.

We have been extremely pleased with how well Wylde Green Nursery has looked after my daughter over the last two years. They are so creative with their fun and educational activities every day and I can tell she is constantly learning something new. They encourage the kids, of all ages, to play together
and there are even extracurricular lessons like phonics, musics and PE. Staff are always very friendly and my daughter likes all of her teachers. We are also impressed with the diverse lunches provided by the caterers. I would not hesitate to recommend Wylde Green Nursery to any parent.

We are beyond happy with our choice of Wylde Green Nursery for our child. The quality of care is first class and they have developed myriad skills thanks to the tuition provided. The nursery has excellent safeguarding. It fully justified its Ofstef outstanding rating. I would not hesitate to send kids
to it.

Many thanks from the heart for all your hard work, love, dedication and patience to the children, and for keeping personal belongings in order (toys, clothes), helping with potty training, caring when they were not feeling well, making everyday a fun environment to go to which was also very important.

I moved my child from another nursery to Wylde Green Nursery. I was impressed with its unique layout. It’s very inviting and open-spaced.
The nursery looks small from the outside but that’s very misleading! It has everything a child could want from a small garden for planting to a water play area
to a quiet zone. My son has progressed really well. His speech has developed very quickly and he’s become very confident in activities he’s learnt from nursery. He always looks forward to going there and doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day! The staff are lovely. They go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Very friendly and inviting to both parent and child. Have been so supportive of all my child’s needs. You are kept up to date with the nursery and what’s happening with newsletters and emails. There is always someone you can speak to or call. The manager is always around the nursery amongst staff and children. Overall a wonderful nursery for the children.

Our little one has been going to this nursery for approximately two years now. I can't praise the staff and management enough. We have seen that our boy's confidence has grown and he has turned out to be an extremely confident little man. We get regular updates on the progress from nursery. The open
plan gives an opportunity for various age groups to interact and come together.

Wylde green is a great nursery with lovely staff they have got to know my son really well from the beginning they know his likes dislikes and personality which is important when taking care of him.
My son really enjoys attending and has made lots of friends he has learned so much in the last 6 months.
They
have a wide range of learning and activities indoors and out.
There is always lots of new things every session they are working on my son's vocabulary his speech has greatly improved since joining.

I couldn’t recommend Wylde Green Nursery enough. My son was understandably anxious to be in an environment away from us and even though there were a lot of tears the staff here did an amazing job of comforting him whilst helping him adapt to his new surroundings.
I can see and feel how much my son
trusts the staff there and it’s lovely to see via the app how well he is doing every day.
A special mention to one staff member who has been a dream with my son, she’s always so enthusiastic about telling me about my son's day and I can really tell she enjoys what she does.
The manager is an amazing leader and doing a fantastic job at Wylde Green Nursery, I couldn’t recommend anywhere else, thank you all!

I couldn't recommend Wylde Green Nursery highly enough! The staff genuinely care for the children they look after and I always know that my daughter is safe and having fun while she's there. It has such a lovely family feel to it, it seems like all the staff know all the little ones, not just the ones
they are key workers for. I'm so glad we chose Wylde Green.

Such a lovely team at Wylde Green Nursery. The ladies are so caring and attentive with my daughter. There’s always different activities going on in various places around the nursery. I love that it’s an open-plan setting so children aren’t restricted to one room and that they can interact with other
children of different ages. The meals/snacks provided are very healthy and the parent zone app gives detailed updates of my daughter’s day. I’m very pleased with the level of care my daughter receives at Wylde Green and would recommend to any parent.

Incredible environment for children to grow and such nurturing practitioners. Our son loves going to nursery and talks about the activities he does there. It’s a huge relief to know he is so content there and we love receiving updates on all that he gets up to! He has become really creative with his
paintings and loves growing plants from seeds at nursery. His sunflower has recently started to sprout. Before bed, he tells us about what the nursery practitioners do for him, such as his lotion to make his skin better. Thank you to all of you that look after him!

We have been with Wylde Green Nursery now for over three years and have two children there. I can't praise the nursery and the staff enough, they are excellent all-round. Their care and attention to the well-being and development of the children are excellent. I love the open-plan format and the variety
of food the children receive is also excellent. Special recognition too for how they handled the tough times through Covid. Highly recommend.

My son has been attending since Sept 2022. He was delayed with speech but since being with the nursery he is now speaking really well and clearly.
The staff are amazing. So caring and attentive. The atmosphere in the nursery is calm, warm and very comfortable. All activities are well-planned and
thought-through. The nursery is very inclusive. My two daughters have also attended before my son and both did exceptionally well which shows that standards have been consistent.

Fantastic team. This is a perfect nursery with kind and caring staff all focused on helping our child progress at the same time as making it a fun day. It’s really well managed and organised so you feel reassured your child is safe and supported.
Great environment with lots of creative space and an
abundance of “things” to do.
Really supportive and flexible for parents too. The staff are great at sharing the ins and outs of the day via an easy-to-use app and really helpful progress reports.

The staff and management team are fantastic. My daughter started in September 2022 and has excelled in her development thanks to the amazing work Wylde Green Nursery provide. The staff and management have got to know my daughter extremely well and I feel they really go above and beyond. The team are
very friendly and caring and has supported my daughter to grow. I love getting updates on the app and getting to see all the great things my daughter does. When my daughter first started her speech wasn't there yet within a few weeks my little girl was able to chat away and tell me about her day. Thank you Wylde Green Nursery keep being amazing!

My son started attending the nursery in September 2022 and he’s had an absolutely amazing experience. His speech has come on so well, he’s learnt so much and is very confident. The staff are all very caring and attentive, they plan the most lovely activities for the children and I receive lots of daily
updates on the parent app. They have a lovely outdoor area for learning and exploring and offer free flow so the children can choose to go out or stay inside. My son has a dairy intolerance and they’ve always been super careful with what they feed him and I’ve never had an issue where they’ve mistakenly given him something he can’t eat. I can’t give the staff enough praise, they do such an amazing job and that gives me great comfort as a parent knowing I’m leaving my child in the hands of people who really care.

My daughter loves being at nursery. She doesn't cry on drop-off and collection. She loves the staff and I even try to get her in for extra days when possible. She has come on so much with talking and development with the help of all the nursery staff. Truly an amazing team of people. Thank you

Hello, I'm Donna and I'm the Nursery Manager here at Wylde Green. I am Level 3 NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and Level 4 in Leadership and Management.


I and the team here at Wylde Green pride ourselves on the activities and experiences that we offer the children. We are always thinking outside the box and challenging the children, helping them to develop their unique and individual personalities and strengths.
