The facilities are excellent and are always improving.

The staff are very friendly they know all the children's names not just the ones in their own room. Rachel the nursery manager is fabulous.

From the very beginning we have had a wonderful experience with Hallfield First. Our son has been at the nursery from 9 months old and there has never been any doubt that he has been in excellent hands. The staff are warm, caring and treat every child like their own. The nursery has a very nurturing ethos and family orientated approach. The children excel and are given every opportunity to thrive, grow and learn. We have been impressed by the nursery's approach to fostering independence whilst creating a caring, happy and supportive atmosphere. Children are treated as individuals , families are seen as part of the wider nursery community and it's an extremely inclusive and wholesome environment. I truely believe it has given our son the best start and preparation for school (and beyond)! We would absolutely recommend Hallfield First to any family.

Lovely team. My daughter has been attending since March and they've been amazing. Always communicate well at pickup and drop off. My daughter loves it and is always happy to see everyone. Regular photos added with updates on the app.

We couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough! Our daughter spent two wonderful years here before moving on to foundation, and she absolutely loved every minute. The staff were amazing at helping her settle in, building strong relationships with her, and keeping us informed and updated throughout the day via the app, which was so reassuring. The outdoor space and facilities are fantastic, and it's been lovely to see how much she has grown, developed, and reached her full potential during her time here. She always came home happy, full of stories, and with a full belly! We're so grateful to the whole team for making her time at nursery so special. Thank you for everything!

Amazing nursery and staff. Both my daughters attended here and loved it! Settled in quickly, had lots of fun and learnt a lot of things. Best nursery around. Staff are caring and engaged. The nursery itself is modern and clean with amazing learning and play areas.

I was really happy with the nursery and the positive impact it had on my daughter's development. I noticed a big difference in her confidence, communication, social skills and behaviour. When comparing her with other children of a similar age, I could really see how much she had progressed and how well she had developed.

What really stands out to us is the wonderful approach to early years learning at Hallfield, with such a thoughtful and imaginative range of activities planned around engaging themes. We love how learning is brought to life through play, encouraging curiosity, creativity and a genuine joy of discovery. It is lovely to see how he is nurtured by his teachers and encouraged to explore, grow in confidence and develop a love of learning from such an early age. The nursery and foundation class provides such a warm, happy and stimulating environment, and we couldn't be more pleased with his experience.

Both of my children have been at Hallfield nursery. My eldest started in January 2023 and my youngest started in April 2026. We were extremely impressed with the facilities that Hallfield has as well as the excellent nursery staff. Both of my children had challenges with settling in and the staff were so supportive and helpful. They treat the children like their own and we were never worried about the children whilst they were in the nursery's care. Communication is excellent, they tell us what is going on with the children during the day and send pictures and progress updates. I would recommend Hallfield to any parent!

Kind, caring staff who provide excellent care for my little ones. They listen to concerns and work on areas specific to your child's needs. There is a wide range of activities for the children. The food menu is also varied. My children have thrived in Hallfield first. It has a real family feel with the staff and children.

The staff and key workers have been wonderful with my son. They know and understand him well. He enjoys his time in nursery and often shares about his day. The welcoming environment allows him to thrive and grow.

I have had three children attend Hallfieldfirst and have been very happy with the care provided. All the staff know each child by name. They have been very flexible in offering additional sessions when requested. All the children have had close links with their key workers many years later. The children spend time outside daily including in winter.

My daughter has developed very well since joining and really enjoys being there. I highly recommend this nursery.

The best nursery in the region by far. The staff and facilities are excellent. My eldest son attended the nursery and is now part of the school and my two youngest sons currently attend the nursery. All three loved/love their time here. The Hallfieldfirst and Pre-Prep staff are very attentive and have excellent knowledge of individual children.

Friendly, helpful accommodating staff, not just child's keyworkers but all staff members. Exceptionally helpful when there was traffic chaos and nearly 2 hours late for collection. Offered shelter, food, etc which went above and beyond. Knowledge about each child is fantastic and also the tailored teaching based on child's level and needs. Very good documentation of the day and feedback. The 'homely feel' of the rooms are great and the attentiveness of the staff.

My daughter started in the Owls room at 14 months and left at 25 months. During that year I couldn't be happier with her development. She is a shy child and her key worker who was also the room leader was excellent in making sure she was comfortable and learning new things. I never felt uncomfortable leaving her and knew she was well looked after and like the way she rarely came back dirty like some nurseries where children come back with food everywhere. All the staff are friendly and good at their job. I would definitely recommend Hallfield First, the facilities, staff, activities, structure and attention is brilliant. Rooms are not too busy and they really focus on developing little ones' character and teaching them to be independent whether in eating, dressing or walking up the stairs etc.
