The Old Station Nursery Northfield

Excellent small nursery where staff are personable and well-invested in the development of our child. Two staff members in particular are fantastic in the baby room. Always happy and friendly.

I'm very grateful to the manager and the team for being amazing. The staff have taken great care of my son. He has settled in very nicely. There is a great deal of individual attention that they provide, and I would grade them second to none. He was going to a very renowned private school nursery before, but I'm very happy that we've taken him out and put him in The Old Station Nursery. Thank you.

The care for kids is really great too.

My son is thriving at Old Station Nursery. He is settled and socialised with his peers who he often talks about at home along with naming the staff. He is happy on arrival and pick-ups especially when he is in the garden playing with the toys/equipment (usually found on bikes/trikes/scooters. All staff are kind and friendly on approach, always smiling and engaging with children (often seen singing, dancing, serving snacks). My son particularly enjoys all the different play/creative activities - dressing up, arts and crafts, water play, and garden activities and it is lovely to see all the local area trips to parks, ponds, train and fire stations via photos on the parent app. He is on track with his learning and development which is monitored and recorded through the app. He sleeps and eats well at the nursery, in a good routine so I would recommend the nursery to any future child.

Good nursery, friendly staff, a good choice of food, and plenty of interactive activities for children. Management is very well structured and informative. The app is very good as it allows you to see what your child has been up to throughout the day, however, it is not always updated regulary.

Really great staff never had any issues or concerns. My son enjoys going to nursery and is always happy. Staff are welcoming, pleasant and are quite engaging. My son is developing nicely and confidently.

A lovely nursery with a caring team of employees and managers. My daughter has enjoyed her time at the nursery with the many daily activities whether on site with members of the nursery team, or staff brought in for dance and football sessions, or off site with visits to the fire station, train station and library to name a few. Lots of focus on development and socialising with peers. A great all round experience topped off with the lovely cook who spoils the children with her culinary creations, and the most caring and thoughtful manager, who really wants the best for the children at the nursery. The classes are small which I preferred, as it was less daunting for my daughter and I felt she had a better nursery experience because of it. Well done nursery!

Loving and friendly staff who nurture the children. The settling is lovely with lots of activities and lovely interactive garden.

I come to pick her up and she is beaming every time.
