The nursery has six spacious rooms, all designed to stimulate children's curiosity and encourage them to learn and explore their environment. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.
The baby rooms are equipped with low-level furniture to help children develop their balancing and walking skills. Within these rooms, the staff provide natural and engaging activities, such as messy play, painting, and exploring textures. The toddler rooms focus on providing a balanced curriculum, tailored to individual needs, and include a paint easel, home corner, climbing frame, sand and water play areas. The rooms also allow for free flow exploration throughout the day, which is very important for the children.
The Pre-School rooms offer extra activities such as French, dance, and football, and support children in becoming more independent in preparation for their transition to school. With strong connections to local schools, the Pre-School are always invited to assemblies and events within the schools, to help them get used to their new environment and facilitate a smooth transition.
Outside the nursery, there is a large, secure outdoor area with a sensory garden, mud kitchen, climbing apparatus, bug hotel, and grassy areas for play and learning in all weather.
The nursery offers an abundance of opportunities for children to flourish and become confident learners.

A really lovely nursery. The staff are very caring and have supported the development of my daughter’s social and academic skills since she started there at 19 months old. Beautiful garden. Cannot recommend enough.

Since my son started at The Old Station Nursery, we have seen a lot of improvement in respect of his development. He is always very happy to go to the nursery, and he seems to have formed a good relationship with the staff. We love the fact it has a spacious garden where he can play and explore....

My son has been at the nursery since March 2023 and absolutely loves it. The staff are very caring and really look after the children. They’re friendly and welcoming, always wanting the best. There is a beautiful outdoor garden for the children to enjoy with a wide range of play-based activities.
