Little Trees Lansdown offers a fun, safe and clean environment for children to play and learn.

Friendly, highly-skilled staff help children develop skills and confidence.

As well as a wide variety of activities available at the nursery there are also additional activities offered including specialist Music classes, fun French class and weekly swimming lessons along with other services such as professional photos and haircuts with an in-house hairdresser.

Menus are designed to offer a varied, nutritious and well-balanced diet, with food freshly prepared daily on site. Meat comes from local butchers and the children are offered the recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables each day.

Staff aim to introduce children to different tastes and textures whilst encouraging good manners and a happy atmosphere when children sit down for mealtimes. Staff are happy to discuss any special dietary requirements and cater to their needs.

We love explorers 2. One little one has come leaps and bounds since starting. The staff are fabulous. I really appreciate how much time they spend outside, and the daily (which is wild, so thorough and thoughtful) updates are so fun to see.

Little Trees Nursery are so lovely to chat with and very helpful with any queries. My child is thriving and learning so much. I love how much time the children spend outdoors and the range of activities.

We have been really happy with our experience of the nursery so far. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel that your little one is safe and cared for and loved and they are all wonderfully happy and friendly. They nursery seems to share our values of bringing up our little one prompting curiosity
and independence in a safe, fun and caring environment. My little one has settled in really well and the value she gets from socialising at nursery has really helped her development. Very very happy and would highly recommend Little Trees to anyone. Thank you x

Incredibly friendly staff who really care and make an effort to get to know you. My son always has a smile on his face when we arrive in the car park and is always greeted enthusiastically. The food is varied and changes to suit any occasion e.g lunar new year. The facilities are great and seem well
maintained. The garden is fantastic. Overall this is the best nursery for us with 10 out of 10 staff.

I was so nervous leaving my child, as a first time mum, but I had nothing to worry about. From my child's 1st day all staff are inviting, smiley and informative. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. My child absolutely loves it here and so do we.

Little Trees has been brilliant for our little girl! We moved from Birmingham and felt really apprehensive about moving but the entire staff were amazing at the transfer of nurseries and she has settled incredibly well. I am really pleased with how my daughter has progressed since attending Little Trees Lansown. The staff are always welcoming when dropping off and really informative about how her day's been when I collect her. The environment appears clean at all times and is a great space for her to learn and develop.
I can't thank the staff enough for how happy my daughter is on a daily basis, and to me that is the most important thing.

I cannot thank this team enough for their ongoing support in the development of my two and a half year old toddler. From the moment my friends suggested Dean's Close and to me having an interview to make sure it was a great fit, I absolutely knew I made the best decision. My daughter has ultimately

Vikki Gunn

Job Title: Little Trees Lansdown Nursery Manager

Vikki started her career back in 2006 as an unqualified practitioner but progressed quickly working towards gaining her NVQ 3, knowing she had chosen the right career path. Vikki started her Dean Close journey in 2021, beginning as preschool lead in Little Trees Hucclecote and then to Deputy Manager here at Lansdown.


Vikki thoroughly enjoys every single day and enjoys watching how the children learn and develop. It is truly wholesome watching the children go through their nursery life and then onto their next chapter. Children are incredible and it is truly rewarding to see them become independent, learn new skills and flourish. Working in a variety of different settings both in the public and private sector, has given her different experiences and opportunities.


To support her, Vikki has a highly qualified and experienced team. Her staff are dedicated to giving young children the care and attention they need to aid their social, emotional and intellectual development.


Our nursery workers are up to Level 5 qualified in Childcare and Education or are working towards or beyond this qualification. We offer training and continued professional development to all employees.


We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All our employees undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Every member of staff is trained in essential first aid and child protection, giving you added peace of mind.
